GPU sag should not damage the card, but people buying $1300 GPU's care about cosmetics.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079HSVSLR

That cheap brace will stop the sag. You can also get versions that mount to the PCI-E brackets.

I have an SLI setup and use something similar to this and it works great. You can also just search Amazon for 'GPU brace' and read through reviews of ones you like that'll fit your case design (if that even matters for your purchase). I've tried the kind that screw onto the expansion ports of the case but they still sag with heavier GPUs.

GPU brace to stop sag. I used it but they don’t fit very well so I switched to an UpHere GPU stand. Looks clean and works a lot better, imho.

you're gonna laugh, but the msi gaming x trio is the biggest gpu i've ever had, its huge like a battleship. it comes with a support that you screw under the gpu via pci-e slot. but even that didn't satisfy my obsession for things being level so i actually bought a GPU support.

https://www.amazon.com/upHere-Graphics-Anodized-Aerospace-Aluminum/dp/B079HSVSLR/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=gpu+support&qid=1601425204&sr=8-4

i can take off the msi support beam but i kinda like the added branding so I kept it.

Not the best looking, but it should work. I feel the normal ones may not be compatible since the card is a bit wider than a PCIE. slot

How well does it work? Do you have pics? I opted for a stand instead of a bracket myself. I wasn't sure how effective a bracket would be. Considering most are plastic or don't provide enough support where the gpu actually sags.

This is the stand I decided on when I did my build https://www.amazon.com/upHere-Graphics-Anodized-Aerospace-Aluminum/dp/B079HSVSLR

I've seen worse sag (the MSI Gaming X models sag like an old woman's tits) but you still might want to think about a brace. I use this one for the RX 570 in my secondary rig and it isn't intrusive at all - it's also pretty cheap.

or just prop it up with a toilet paper roll like an animal.

I'll admit I haven't used any gpu supports personally, as I decided to build my rig in the cooler master elite 130, which stands the card up sideways. I'm sure if you search the subreddit you can find some.

That said a lot of them seem to use this style of support:

https://www.amazon.com/CloverTale-Aerospace-Upgraded-Version-Black/dp/B077LGLN4G

Then theres a few other styles: https://www.amazon.com/upHere-Graphics-Anodized-Aerospace-Aluminum/dp/B079HSVSLR

https://www.amazon.com/Phanteks-PH-VGPUKT_02-Universal-Vertical-Pci/dp/B07MW73HTJ

Personally I like the style if just turning the card sideways like the last one, but I know in some cases you need those extra slots and it can negatively impact thermals. Remember, this is pretty much just an aesthetic choice, so it's really not a huge deal if you end up not wanting to deal with it.

Personally I have this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079HSVSLR/

It is awesome, and way better than any of those bars that use the PCIe slot screws.

This bracket doesn't seem to have any branding or rgb. You can also try a little gpu shelf style like this. I've also seen people put pop vinyls or other figures to help with sag.

Just about anything works. Legos, Funco POP!, dedicated rgb brackets or braces

Haha I was the same way at one point. Except my liquid cooling leaked all over my cpu gpu and motherboard. Learned real quick lol. Yeah the d15 is no joke and is a great cooler, by literally everyone. This is my cooler on my 10700k https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0846LPTLD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabt1_n08XFbRFF6KTK If you got the money it's worth it especially if you want to get into ocing your cpu. But I also have the updated* 212 black rgb on my 3600. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076GYL25H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabt1_zT8XFbYC175MR
Or
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079HSVSLR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabt1_5X8XFb1ZNW25Z.
Either style is fine. It might kill the aesthetic, but it looks better that a sagging gpu.

> My GPU is fairly large and heavy and I don't like the minimal support the more I think about it

There are a lot of aftermarket products or basic mods that could work (and are cheaper than getting a new case) :
