I am. I will note I was using some expensive as fuck fiber optic “8k” cable and while it worked initially I was getting flickering. I changed over to an alternative 8k cable I bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S196T4Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and this one resolved my issues.

DDU your drivers and do a clean install. Check your cable, I had to try 3 different cables that were advertised as 2.1 cables and only 1 worked.

This is the cable that worked for me. Keep it at or under 10-15 ft. The longer cables will have issues unless they're expensive fiber optic. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S196T4Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I’m planning to use this from the PS5 to my C9 and then I have another one from my C9 eARC to the Sonos:

Yeah I got this one but of course there’s no actual “HDMI 2.1” on the listing but claims to handle up to 48mbps... hmm... so far works great for my PS4 Pro

Anybody have the Zeskit HDMI cables? They are highly rated on Amazon. Amazon: Zeskit ultra high speed

I’ve been considering these or monoprice ones.

Make sure you get an HDMI 2.1 cable. I believe they should be 48 Gb/s

Edit: I ordered these awhile back:

Zeskit 8K Ultra HD High Speed 48Gpbs HDMI Cable 10ft, 8K60 4K120 144Hz eARC HDR10 4:4:4 HDCP 2.2 & 2.3 Compatible with Dolby Vision Xbox PS4 PS5 Apple TV 4K Roku Fire TV Switch Vizio Sony LG Samsung https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07S196T4Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_JeFGFbZ8ZKPK4

They are really solid braided cables. I’ve had no issues with them.

I had the same issue, these cables & switching input to the 3/4 hdmi ports solved that. (10ft/ 3m) 8K HDMI Ultra HD High... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07S196T4Z?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

This is what I got. Works fine on my PS5. It is running behind a wall which is why I got the 8K one so I can future proof for an 8K tv at some point in the future.

Question: do you have your TVs box? If so on your Xbox turn on everything that your tv advertises on the box. Also, did you turn on 24 and 50 HZ? Do that ASAP if not. For the series X your TV absolutely will do 4K 60 and HDR8, but it do suggest buying a new HDMI cable like this one Zeskit 8K Ultra HD High Speed 48Gpbs HDMI Cable 10ft, 8K60 4K120 144Hz eARC HDR10 4:4:4 HDCP 2.2 & 2.3 Compatible with Dolby Vision Xbox PS4 PS5 Apple TV 4K Roku Fire TV Switch Vizio Sony LG Samsung https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07S196T4Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_NDFFFb1J2FN4F . If for whatever reason your TV won’t fully support the series X, this cable will make it use all of the TVs possible strength.

I'm using the zeskit 10ft cable with both my xbsx and ps5 on my sony 65" x900h. Full hdmi 2.1 with no issues whatsoever. There's plenty of amazon reviews with photos of testing showing the cable handles full bandwidth.

This is the one I've been using with no issues. Works as it should.

Looks like they might be out of stock for a bit though.

Those are some shitty looking cables, no wonder nothing works.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S196T4Z/

Very few cables work with 2.1 features and full bandwidth yet, and hdmi.org hasnt certified a single cable yet, so they’re plain lying as well.

i just bought this 2.1 cable for my ps4 pro and it was nice https://www.amazon.com/48Gbps-Compatible-Netflix-Playstation-Samsung/dp/B07S196T4Z/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=hdmi+2.1+premium+cable&qid=1588819682&sr=8-8

when you buying cables make sure to read all the details some of the products are tricky and if you ever buy a display port cable i would just go for something vesa certified hdmi also has a thing called premium certified but im not sure about with 2.1

I've tested two more cables. And I forgot to mention in the original post: I'm using an RTX 3080, so I've got HDMI 2.1 on the PC.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S196T4Z/r - I got the 10 foot version of this. And even that is simply too short; I had to temporarily move my PC around to get it to reach. This cable doesn't have any signal issues at 4k/60, but 4k/120 will not get any signal in HDMI port 4. However, when I plug this into the HDMI input of my Samsung Q70T soundbar (which is in HDMI port 3), 4k/120 WILL work. But with a caveat; only with 4:2:0 color, which means no HDR.

This is really strange. You'd think the results would be the opposite. I would think the Q70T would just further complicate things, but... I guess it strengthens the signal enough to where it can eke out 4k/120 4:2:0?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TTRFPYB/ - I bought this short HDMI 2.1 cable to go between the TV and the soundbar. Tried to use it for the PC. Same problem; 4k/120 just won't pick up a signal on the TV.

Now I'm at a loss, since it is clear that the distance between the PC and the TV is really killing me here. I can get a higher quality cable from Monoprice, but it's still going to only be six feet.
