Perhaps this, which will work with your monitor after I looked at it. Assuming your MacBook Pro has 4 Thunderbolt Ports, this won’t be a problem. If you’re running the MacBook Pro with only 2 ports, it’s going to be a battle balancing the battery, and other USB breakouts.

Anyhow You can figure how I was astonished when i connect the new cable USB c —> display port to my 2nd monitor and i reached the perfect color match in both monitor. I have to tell You that when i first connect it to HDMI and saw quite different colors I was ready to give back to Dell the P2421D cause I was realizing that the P Series was way worst than U Series! But it was JUST THE CABLE 😂🙄🙄

G-Sync compatible does not work with HDMI, it only works with Displayport.
You have adaptive sync enabled on the monitor but it is not enabled on the PC.
According to the review here there is a DP port to the left of the HDMI port at the back, the DP is using USB-C interface.
Get a USB-C to Displayport cable and connect the monitor that way.
Then go into the NV control panel resolution section and set it to 144Hz, then go to the G-Sync section and see if you can enable it.
If you can your all set, for optimal results go into the NV manage 3D settings and set "Max Frame Rate" to 140 just below the vsync of 144Hz. This will give lowest input lag with vsync enabled.
If you cannot enable G-Sync then the DP USB-C is not connected to the Nvidia GPU, it is only wired to the built in Intel GPU.
In which case disable vsync in games and the FPS will be unlocked but you will get tearing on the display as a result.

Much appreciated u/awstorm, so although these aren't top of the line, 3 of these should make my 3 Dell monitors work without causing turbo fans and power warnings?

4K 60hz not working with USB C to DisplayPort cable
I just got a Dell Latitude 5400 from work to use at home, which has an Intel UHD 620 graphics card and a USB C port (NOT Thunderbolt).
I have an ASUS 4K monitor with HDMI and DisplayPort inputs. I am using a USB C to DisplayPort cable that indicates on Amazon that it supports 4K transfer @ 60hz.
Everything I am reading says that this setup should work and support 60hz. However, when I plug in the monitor to the laptop, it only gives me the option for 30hz at the 4K resolution. Can anyone help me figure out why I can’t use 4K at 60hz rather than only 30hz??

Just set up a 1440p 140hz monitor with my desktop 1050TI. It works, but am using DisplayPort. Mine has a DP out.
/u/Burunno if this is your machine, it says that it's USB-C out can handle Displayport. So you could try using a USB-C to DisplayPort adapater. That's the first one I found, there may be others at better prices if you look.

Generally most high end gaming laptops will have a mini DisplayPort as well, so you can use that to power your second monitor. I had a MSI laptop until recently that I bought in 2016 which had a HDMI and a miniDP.
If you are sure you don't have a miniDP, you should use a USB-C to DisplayPort or HDMI adapter. USB3 hubs won't work here due to technical limitations (it actually uses something called DisplayLink which in non-technical terms is a graphics emulator).

Thank you so much for your answers. It seems like you're quite familiar with everything that I'm not. 😃 It would not have occurred to me that a 2020 16" MacBook Pro would not support daisy-chaining.
The only ports on this MBP are 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports. https://www.apple.com/macbook-pro-16/ says "Supports up to two 6K displays". I would have guessed that that would mean that I'd use a USB-C cable to a USB-C monitor like the https://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/dell-24-usb-c-monitor-p2419hc/apd/210-aqco/monitors-monitor-accessories#techspecs_section and then a DisplayPort cable to daisy-chain.
But you're saying it won't work, and other people I just found on the internet agree and say that Apple doesn't support MST (such as https://theremotedev.com/macbook-pro-dual-monitor-developer-setup/).
So what does Apple mean I should do? https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210754 does not explain. It sounds like maybe they'd expect me to buy 2 USB C to DisplayPort Cables (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/DisplayPort-Certified-Gold-Plated-Thunderbolt-Compatible/dp/B07RY75V7Q/), and plug them into 2 monitors that accept DisplayPort.
I am having trouble drawing a diagram for what you recommend: "It only costs a very small amount to get two HDMI switches and a USB switch, you will need to press three buttons to toggle."
Could you please elaborate? I very much appreciate it!

I vary depending on the day and where I'm at in the house for WFH, but the various pieces of my setup include:
- Keyboard: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-K380-Multi-Device-Bluetooth-Keyboard/dp/B0148NPH9I
- Mouse: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Anywhere-Wireless-Cross-Computer-Control/dp/B071VK5KXN/
- Mousepad (I know it's crazy, but the MX Anywhere 2S glides on these and they travel well): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082V22N6V/
- Monitor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0862YHJ56/
- Stand (if I'm using the above AOC monitor but *not* the Logitech keyboard): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083VT6P7W/
- Stand (if I'm *not* using the above AOC monitor and am using the Logitech keyboard): https://www.amazon.com/Nexstand-Laptop-Stand-Portable-MacBook/dp/B01HHYQBB8/
- USB C to DisplayPort cable (for connecting to the AOC monitor): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RY75V7Q/
- USB hub / adapter (mostly if I need an SD card reader - it's overkill): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084ZDPNTT/
Hopefully I copied those links correctly and they're helpful. lol
