You have to really crank the adjustments as tight as you can get them but it holds it with no problems including the tilting mechanism. I've had it mounted for about 24 hours and it hasn't moved.

It is pretty expensive but well worth it. This thing doesnt budge once you tighten it up.

The monitor without the stand is about 26lbs.been using the arm since around October or so with no issues.

I was gonna desk mount my G9 with the Ergotron but I found a cheaper solution. This Mount from WALI is less than half the price of the Ergotron and it meets the weight requirements. G9 w/o stand weighs 31lbs and this mount is rated for 33lbs. Buddy of mine uses it with his CRG9 and loves it! Also this link has a lot of reviews of it being used with the CRG9 too.

I use this arm for my AOC Agon 49 inch and holds up fine. Just check your monitor's weight without the stand. If its under 33lbs it shold be fine, just becareful when installing.

I have a CRG9 and I assume the G9 has similar weight specs. The only mount that worked for me and didn't sag / bow down is this WALI mount from Amazon. No issues with it at all.

I use the WALI Single Mount for my Dell 49" and have had 0 issues with it. Easy to assemble, no slop in it. Nice adjustment ranges as well.

I'm enjoying it. I've got it at the 120hz "overclock" with no issues at all. The lower left side has some backlight bleed to be sure (as almost all of these seem to have), but it isn't terrible for me. I'm very rarely looking at a completely black screen, so it doesn't stand out. When color is filling the area, it's complete unnoticeable.

In the box should be an adapter (kind of looks like a bracket) that you screen into the screens screw holes and it makes it vesa compatible. You are missing the part in the image.

Mount wise, for it's weight, had to find one that supported 30+ lbs. This is the one I ended up getting. Tried to find a cheaper one but none of them supported the weight or the build quality was crap. Super happy now.

That one in particular would not work no. It would not fit but yeah likely slouch. It needs to be a Vesa mount that can hold at least 26 pounds. Its a Wali arm from Amazon. So far I haven't had any issues with it. I do move the monitor around a lot too.

I built a frame out of 2x4's and attached this heavy duty mount I found on Amazon. The mount is great, strong once you get it dialed in and tightened down. As for the rig it isn't complete still doing some adjustments, but will post once finished.

I was able to tighten the tilt on mine to hold in place, but it definitely isn't adjustable without me loosening the bolt, adjusting, and tightening again

Sorry didn't see this post till now. I just used the screws from the stand that comes with the monitor. I'll post a picture when I get off work.

Also side note concerning curved ultrawide monitors and monitor arms: the extra width and curve of the monitor spreads out the center of gravity away from where the mount is, thus requiring more force to hold it up. I recommend getting one that is rated at least a few pounds over the weight of the monitor to accommodate. Cause the last thing you want is the arm to fail and your monitor to fall.

Just finished install and cabling. Very happy. Still long way to cleanup the mess :P My setup was 1080p + LG34 + Dell but with the new odyssey g9, it's getting too wide, and maybe i will rearrange them.

About the monitor arm for g9, I give 4stars. It's very good (rated for 33lb) but the sagging was insane. I had to tighten the joint almost breaking the L wrench. Still it is maybe one degree lower than i like but i am not touching that again :P

Overall super happy with the G9. I do not have a gaming PC so no gaming test until I get 3080 or 3090.

You have to tighten the tilt joint (the joint where the VESA mount connects to the arm) VERY tightly to avoid drooping (and you'll need someone holding the monitor steadily in place while you do this), but once that was secured, I'm able to very easily swivel, pivot, adjust height/depth. Super easy to assemble and mount onto my desk, and have had zero issues with it.

I have this same [WALI arm]( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NLMLLT6/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_5fXMEbRPS35S3 ) on my CRG9 and it is super solid. No problem at all holding and moving around the 25.6 LB CRG9.

This is the arm I have and its really good and holds it like noting. I have the LG 38gn950 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NLMLLT6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 its 100 bucks but you can be sure ill hold it as it have 2 screws insted of one that holds it under desk

I don't see this one recommended much, but this works for my G9: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NLMLLT6/ref=dp_iou_view_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 However, you pretty much have to tight the tilt screw all the way, meaning there is no tilt adjustment but this works for my specific use case. Aside from that all other adjustments work no problem.

I have not tested this personally on the g9 but the WALI single monitor mount supports 33 lb monitors (or 14.96 kgs) and since the g9 weighs 31.1 lbs (14.1 kgs) it would technically work.

Edit: oh sorry I did not realize your monitor is 49" (124.46 cm), the monitor supports up to 35" (88.9 cm) but hey you never know lol
