If you can, move the mounted one down almost touching the desk, slightly tilted up, then the other one on a monitor stand above and slightly tilted down. Or consider a stand like this, having the top monitor more fixed in place and the other one free to move with the lx mount

I have an elevated 34inch uw monitor. Msi mag34. If you look in my post history you can see my setup. Lifted it in June. No problems yet. This is the stand + arm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0155LJATK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_iyfbMPRjB2dTO

I just went through a similar process and was planning on the Ergo LX as I was mainly after more height, but ended up with a sort of Frankenstein build that works really well IMO.

Like u/ILikePutz says above, the amazon basics arm is the same arm style as erotron at way less the price but the main pole off the base is really short so it's hard to get good height out of it.

What I figured out through trial/error and amazon sleuthing is that the Amazon Arms also fit perfectly on these Vivo Stands www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0155LJATK/. If your after more height and the full adjustability the Amazon Basics/Ergo Arms provide I'd honestly get the AMZ basics arm and that VIVO stand. If you don't care so much about the adjustability, I'd actually just get the VIVO stand above, I've got my main 34" on it and because the arm has 3 different pivoting sections you'll definitely be able to get a couple more inches out of it like you're looking for.

I've read many posts saying two independent mounts is better than a single dual mount in terms of both wobble and flexibility.

Best of luck

I got Suptek ones from amazon.de. In the US maybe Vivo could do the same (it only holds 8kg/17.6lbs tho)

They are 80cm tall and can handle 10kg (22lbs). My monitors are ~7kg each.

There is no quick way to adjust height, but I'm keeping those on same place anyway, so it's not a problem.

And I still could put those 13cm higher, so they're not even at their limit yet.

I'm using the VIVO monitor mount for the top monitor and the base for the G9. I thought I was going to hate having a base after years of stands, but even though it's large, it doesn't feel opressive. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0155LJATK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Not OP, but it possibly is this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0155LJATK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1&fpw=alm

I have a stacked Ultrawide + 1080p monitor setup similar to this and that is what I used to have the extra height. You can see that in OP's picture it is 2 stands rather than 1 so I assume this is what he did.

If you're talking about the shorter one, sorry then I have no leads.

This Samsung monitor: Samsung - UR55 Series 28" IPS 4K UHD Monitor

...and this monitor arm: VIVO Single Monitor Desk Mount

Good price for what it is. Needed spacers for the VESA mount though, since the back is curved and has a non-stand recess. Worked out well, though.

Hey guys, Its a 2 part system in order to get the top monitor to a more comfortable position.

Short arm
Long arm

The only thing worth noting is that at the base they're slightly different one has a plastic tapered cylinder the other is just a pole to metal you can see the difference in the images. My mounter riser I made hides that so its not noticeable. Admittedly it did annoy me a bit. Something to consider if you go with this!

I’m using two different mounts. I’ve used an amazon basics adjustable shock mount for the 34” for a while. When I added the upper monitor I purchased a vivo extra tall mount.

Here are links to the two mounts that I have.

I am actually using two different mounts. The main reason for that is because I could not find a three arm monitor that supports 34" wide screen monitors. And the ones that were close to support three screens did not have the option to move the top screen closer to my chair.

[top monitor mount](https://www.amazon.com/-/es/gp/product/B0155LJATK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

[bottom mount](https://www.microcenter.com/product/485170/inland-dlb123-desktop-mount-for-monitors-10---30)

The one at the bottom is amazing because I only use two arms and that gives me the freedom to move the other two screens at will.

For the ultrawide on top. The colors are unfortunate, but I saw that a previous posted with the CRG90 had nothing but good things to say about that monitor arm, so I went with the trusted opinion given how heavy that is.

https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Single-Monitor-Adjustable-STAND-V001T/dp/B0155LJATK/ref=psdc_10967501_t3_B01IWOCCOW

$69.95

"Regardless" to that, I will still round off the price to say $100 and redo your maths;

Total Requirement: 5000 units

Apple stand cost:

1000*5000 = $5000000

Cheap poor people stand cost :

100*5000 = $500000

Replacement cost for 80% of CPPS:

80% of 500000 = $400000

Let me give apple the benefit of the doubt "Regardless" and say another 80% CPPS break down; the total cost to company will now be:

500000 + 400000 + 400000 = $1300000

Let us round it to $1500000; say to account for the loss of business and an additional misc cost.

Difference in cost:

$5000000 (Apple) - $1500000 (CPPS) = $3500000

So we will still save :

(3500000 * 100)/ 5000000 = 70 % of the money I would have spent on the Apple stand.

Of the remaining money i can still buy 37000 more stands. Or better actually, pay the workers in the manufacturing lines for these stands some additional bonus.
