New egg has a refurbished acer predator that are 1080p

Acer Predator XB271H Abmiprzx 27" Full HD 1920x1080 144Hz 1ms HDMI DisplayPort USB Port Built-in Speakers LED Backlit Gaming Monitor

On amazon I found 1 g-sync monitor that was under $300.

You would have a much wider selection if you went for a freesync monitor that is g-sync compatible. I recently bought the AOC Agon 1440p freesync monitor and I have a Asus RTX2070 and it works great.

gaming laptop to gaming monitor

Hello, I have a acer predator helios 300 with 60hz, and i wanted to get this gaming monitor because it's cheap and has good specs, like 165hz, https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-VG248QG-Supports-Compatible-DisplayPort/dp/B07TNM8L6S/ref=dp_ob_title_ce?th=1

problem is many people on the reviews say that it only hits 165hz if connected via DisplayPort, and my laptop doesn't have a DisplayPort, only hdmi what should i do? should i get an adapter or will that lower my performance and Hz, is there another monitor around that price range that will work with hdmi and have good Hz?

What features are good for reducing eye-strain?

I'm interested in this monitor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TNM8L6S/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza#customerReviews

I have two eye-health questions after looking at reviews and description.

  • (This is the dumb question). Viewing angles. The viewing angles are pretty bad, as expected with TN panels. If I am standing directly in front of the monitor, are my eyes still fatigued from the the viewing angles? Dumb question.
  • Blue light. This monitor has a blue light filter to limit eye fatigue. Is a blue light filter good or bad? Is this specific filter good or bad?

Very happy with them so far, just with the new content areas in WoW I'm having to lower my settings to maintain fps.

Hey all! I'm not the best with this stuff so wanted opinions/suggestions. I dont have the budget for 4k with good performance so I'm gonna go 1080p 144hz, is this a good monitor option? If not, can someone give me one that is that fits those parameters and isn't crazy expensive?

24" 60hz 1080p Monitor Recommendations

Hi,

I'm looking for a third monitor, I already have two 1440p 27 inch monitors but I don't plan on using a display port, just an HDMI cable (I don't think I can have three display ports anyways). The monitor can also be 24 inches. I want a quality brand, preferably IPS with a nice stand. Willing to spend the extra cash unless there is a really good deal going on right now. Also, if I can... maybe 1ms as well if it's even possible with those specs.

I'm willing to go for more inches and a higher refresh rate for future proofing but I figured I would go for 60hz due to using a HDMI cable. Freesync/Gsync is a plus as well but not necessary since I won't be using it for gaming.

Thanks in advance, I never had a third monitor before.

Edit: Found one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TNM8L6S/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_Cin3EbSFTKH1R Thoughts?

Edit: I settled for the monitor that I linked, it's way above my expectations and it was only $200 so I caved in.

I am currently using an Asus VG248QG (https://www.amazon.com/VG248QG-G-Sync-Compatible-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B07TNM8L6S/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2G9868RQP69VN&dchild=1&keywords=asus+vg248qg&qid=1602879101&sprefix=asus+vg%2Caps%2C247&sr=8-1), and I'm very happy with it.

Image cuality looks great to me, and has 3 different settings for you to configure. The downside in my opinion is that it is not a VA panel. I think it's a great choice nevertheless!

So since you want a very lower type price monitor I recommend this Asus VG248QG 24” Gaming Monitor, 1080P Full HD, 165Hz (Supports 144Hz), G-SYNC Compatible, 0.5ms, Extreme Low Motion Blur, Eye Care, DisplayPort HDMI DVI,Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TNM8L6S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9ktyFbDRYE5HS also to enable g sync you have to go to nvidia control panel if you want a curved monitor here’s another one but it’s a slower response time and bigger screen but being curved it shouldn’t be that bad Samsung 27-Inch CRG5 240Hz Curved Gaming Monitor (LC27RG50FQNXZA) – Computer Monitor, 1920 x 1080p Resolution, 4ms Response Time, G-Sync Compatible, HDMI,Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TGMC29J/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_AmtyFbM92TA83

This is the perfect monitor for me, with the perfect price. It's sold out though. Is this on Amazon or anywhere else?

Edit: Found it here, https://www.amazon.com/VG248QG-G-Sync-Compatible-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B07TNM8L6S?th=1 unfortunately it's out of stock until May 8th.

This is the base one and this is the one amazon says is the newer model. I do believe 27in is better than 24 and will never go back if your space allows for it so if you can splurge a little I’m sure anything asus puts out is good quality.

I found these really two good 144 hz 1080p monitors matching your requirements. 1. Asus VG248QG TN panel

  1. ViewSonic XG2405 IPS panel

Overall both are good monitors. It comes down to your preference whether to go with IPS or TN option.
