If anyone is looking for a really cheap good one check out the $45 Tecware Phantom

I've recently purchased the Tecware Phantom 87 which is a Tenkeyless but they also offer a full keyboard layout (104) if you want the number pad.
They both come with 3 options for key switches (red, blue and brown). I got the brown switches which are tactile (clack without the click).
This is a really solid keyboard, great feel to them, RGB blacklit if you're into that and most of all it's really cheap. 45 USD which is around 63 CAD.
I'm very happy with it and I think it's a great introduction to mechanical keyboards. :)

Tecware Phantom this one is on the budget side but i haven't had any problems with it so you'll save money and have a nice board. If you don't mind having a wired board you should be fine. Unfortunately it seems to be sold out almost everywhere so i would save it and wait till it comes back in stock

What are some nice keycaps that I can grab that will make my keyboard look nice?
- Budget: $50 (including shipping)
- RGB position: built into PCB, on the side opposite side of the switch from me
- Switch: Otemu Browns
- Color of keyboard: black frame and dark grey metal plate
I've skimmed through the wiki but the amount of choices is really making my head spin :(

I have the tecware phantom 87. Good mechanical keyboard for the price, also in 104 form https://www.amazon.com/Tecware-Phantom-Mechanical-Keyboard-Outemu/dp/B079HTZQYV

/u/Harke_KB recommended, but I'll link it for them: tecware phantom.
I recommend this product too. I have both this and the low profile version in outemu brown and red. I've had it for about a year and haven't cross any issues so far. The RGB for the linked version has a crazy variety of colors, literally the whole color spectrum's worth. It's part plastic and has an aluminum top which helps with the keyboard's rigidity and build overall.
One thing I don't like about this keyboard is that the cable isn't removable, but besides that nothing else.
Edit: added more info

Nah its "phantom techware keyboard" I got it for 55 bucks, I've been using it for 2 years, it works just fine.

I've found this, did someone make experience with this? And is it Cherry MX Green compatible?
1 points • spicedpumpkins
This is a really good price however if this is going to be your first mech keyboard I really do suggest getting a 65% board (typically has arrow keys) vs this (a 60% keyboard / no dedicated arrow keys).
You'd be surprised how old and mildly annoying it gets by simply having to do the little extra step of pressing alt/ctrl to activate arrow keys vs just having dedicated arrow keys.
If you are unsure and just want a small ten keyless, then I would suggest the Tecware Phantom 87 over this keyboard which is also hot swappable (they use Outemu switches vs Gaterons), has RGB, relatively solid build, comes with doubleshot abs caps and is currently on sale for like 45 bucks.

Try this board, tecware phantom, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079HTZQYV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_uVh.EbTAKD7RF
It has hotswap switches which means if you don't like the switches you can easily change them to anything you like without the hassle of desoldering and soldering

Actually, I'm a cheap-ass so I'm using Outemu browns. Tecware Phantom 80% keyboard. They're actually not bad. Dunno how they compare to Gateron but I actually prefer them to Cherry keys.
Didn't know about the yellows, but they're probably not my thing. I don't like linear switches, I prefer the tactile bump. Every linear switch I've used I bottom out and hurt my fingers on.

I have had 4 mechanical keyboards including a nexpensive Corsair Silent Strafe. Did not like Cherry MX Reds when it came to non-gaming typing or really not that much for gaming either.
Weirdly enough, this one has been my favorite and is also super inexpensive. It has fairly customizable RGB. It has great Amazon reviews which is why I was brought onto it in the first place. Brown keys. Such a great value.
Just another option to look at. Tenkeyless.

Hi, I got this keyboard after coming from a cheapo $15 LG one. I haven't used a proper Cherry MX keyboard, but I'm very happy with what I got.
Relatively cheap, sturdy, and gets the job done. I will say that because its metal, there can be audible "pings" when you type. I noticed it right out of the box, but don't notice it anymore until I think about it.

I’ve decide to buy my first mechanical keyboard and it’s a Techware Phantom 87 (https://www.amazon.com/Tecware-Phantom-Mechanical-Keyboard-Outemu/dp/B079HTZQYV). Was it a good decision and should I customize using different key caps? I’m super new to keyboards, so any recommendations for key caps?

For a keyboard I use the tecware phantom 87, it is a tkl key board that has 3 switches to choose from red, blue, or brown the keys are hotswapable meaning if one switch stops working your can just take it out and put in a new one, it also comes with 4 extra switches in case of that, it has a floating keyboard design and rgb which you can turn off or on, it also comes with a program you can download so if he does want to use rgb he can use the built in sets or make his own, it also doesn't have that horrible "gamer" font that some key boards have, it is also only 46 bucks
Basically this keyboard looks like a regular keyboard but you can turn the rgb off or on

Keep in mind that most of my knowledge about boards in this price range is second-hand. I have a custom mech and a Corsair K70, so there's no real point for me to drop $50 to $100 on a factory-built keyboard.
To answer your question... Probably, honestly? Normally I would say no, except that you're looking to get it with Cherry MX Blue switches. See, normally you can get a cheap keyboard for around $50; the Tecware Phantom https://www.amazon.com/Tecware-Phantom-Mechanical-Keyboard-Outemu/dp/B079HTZQYV/ is a great example of this. This is because the brown and red Outemu switches are pretty decent knockoffs of Cherry. However, it's my understanding that Outemu Blue switches are much, much louder than they are supposed to be. So it might be a good idea to buy the more expensive blue switches, which of course bumps up the price of the overall board and lowers the features you're getting.

TL;DR: If you want Blue switches, getting the HyperX Alloy FPS Pro is probably an OK decision to make. If you are okay with Brown or Red switches, get the Tecware Phantom or something similar.

All keyboards should work on all consoles. It all comes down to compatibility, I can use a keyboard on Call of duty and Fortnite, But not something like Spiderman or Astrobot. I currently use this keyboard with the blue switches but it is kind of loud so I would say get the red or brown switches which should both be quiet. https://www.amazon.com/Tecware-Phantom-Mechanical-Keyboard-Outemu/dp/B079HTZQYV/ref=sr_1_1?crid=M3XWVQYWDR0U&dchild=1&keywords=tecware+phantom+87&qid=1606749082&sprefix=tecware%2Caps%2C167&sr=8-1

Recently bought this one. I'm not a keyboard afficionado or anything but I'm happy with it. Great features for the price. Switches are pretty good. Overall I'd buy again if on a budget.

If you're using the G213 and looking for something differing it seems like you're trying to move into the TKL/60% range.
On the cheaper side of things, check out the Tecware Phantom. I personally have one and it does it's job fine. I don't particularly like browns, but to each their own. Plus it's hotswappable, so if you decide to get a little deeper you can change out the switches for an entirely different feel. It comes with a switch & keycap puller too!
Bumping right up against the higher end of your budget, check out the Ducky One 2 Mini. That one's only available for pre-order, but they go up for sale on r/mechmarket all the time. Have a close friend who loves his Ducky keyboard.
If you want to spend a bit more, you can look into Vortex Keyboards. I've personally owned two of them (60% with Cherry MX Pinks/Silent Reds, 75% with Cherry MX Clears) and they are rock solid mechs for the price. I still have my Rac3, and I'm planning to swap in some Kalih Box Jades when they finally get here from China... ^sigh
Hope that helps! Lmk if you want any more recommendations or questions. I know looking through this sub can be really overwhelming. Spend some time looking through the links on [this post] (https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/gogkfh/rmechanicalkeyboards_what_keyboard_switches_andor/) to see if there's any options that better suit you!
