This is what most people use. I have a similar one I got at Home Depot. You want one with a digital humidistat.

Use it for general purposes but I could see how it would work well for this

There's this one with adjustable settings: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H2717BM/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_K6GrEb5BYM9AS

There are even smaller ones if you search small cool mist dehumidifiers. I bought a humidity controller a while back to automate my dehumidifier and humidifier for $40.

Hello! I’m not in a super extreme climate like you, but the high desert of Colorado can be pretty harsh on the skin. I’ve found that the simple act of adding a humidifier in my bedroom, running it 24/7 has helped exponentially with dry skin. https://www.amazon.com/TaoTronics-Humidifiers-Ultrasonic-Humidifier-Operation/dp/B07H2717BM

How big of a space do you have? Don’t spend $225 on a humidifier for a 4x4 tent.

This is good if you don’t have a separate humidity controller.

haha yeah i’ve seen it around on here too! i mainly bought it last year for when i was drying my first crop (didn’t even use it though). Been using it this year all throughout this second grow. Before i turned the exhaust fan on i filled it up maybe every 2-3 days...now i’m refilling it every day. It monitors pretty good, & i’ll be dropping the humidity down these next couple weeks so it won’t use as much, but yeah it’s gotta small tank! I may have to get those. On the lowest setting, the tent gets to around 75%-80% and sometimes goes over the 80%. I've just managed to get it to 72%.

Edit: I'm thinking of getting a humidifier I saw that have a temperature and humdity gauge on it like this one. It supposed to let you get to a certain rh and stay there.

I have this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H2717BM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_8QnoEb6VGWW7C

You just might need to tape a little cover over the led panel to avoid light leak issues.

Thanks for sharing your tips, I have ordered a this humidifier (thoughts?) to see if that helps increasing humidity. In the meantime, I took one your advices and repurposed one little old oil diffuser for my majesty palm which needs immediate attention.

What’s your budget? This is what I use in my 4x4. You’re able to control rH. I had the same problem as you. 6" exhaust sucking the humidity right out of my tent. Even with a AC Infinity my humidity was still super low in the mid 40s.

I added 1 cool mist humidifier, it got up to about 55%RH. Which is decent but wanted higher for the girls when they are young. Added another cool mist humidifier, and now I can get all the way up to 80% RH or a little higher if I ever wanted. I have 3 small fans in my tent as well. 2 stationary blowing on different parts of my light. The last one oscillates right above the canopy. As the oscillating one turns it blows the mist from the humidifier all around the tent. I plan to do a perpetual harvest type of staggering in my tent and having 2 of them lets me fine tune things more.

Also, I would make sure your humidifier has a humidistat on it. This is the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009W7CSTS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_CAJ3Fb3RDC8W0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I have a 2x4x5 for veg and a mother 5) that I use this humidifier in and have the temp and humidity controller . I don’t have exhaust fan running in that tent, just 3 fans with a flap on each end open.

I use water from my zero water filter in it, because I have very hard water from the tap. I like that I can set my desired humidity and not have to manually turn it on and off all the time. It also has pretty fine mist.

I use a Taotronics 4L cool mist ultrasonic humidifer, with a built in filter.

Amazon for 50 bucks, worth every penny. Highly recommend.

I had a hosing line set up from hardware store tubing and PVC connectors but i ended up just moving the thing onto my top shelf so I could be sure it was mold free.

Exact same martha too. I turn on the humidifier until RH% reaches 88 to 92 and then leave it, usually good for a day, falls to about 84% unless i have fruiting blocks and then it stays above 86%.

I also have a computer fan set on a digital timer to run 1 minute every 40 minutes for some air exchange in the tent. its sitting in front of a hole i cut and filled with polyfill.

Boom. Polyfill filtered fresh air.

edit: cable for the computer fan USB to Dual 3-Pin https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081K8LBH3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_3.6yFb3HD77Y3

No Problem I just finished my first grow a week into the second now. I just got a humidifier few days ago. This one. humidifier

Seen it was really popular and it works great. I've only got a 2x4 though so not sure if it's good enough for your tent.

I have a vivosun 3'x3'x6' tent.

This is the exhaust system I use: https://www.amazon.com/VIVOSUN-Air-Filtration-Kit-Controller/dp/B06XFRNPR8/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=vivosun+4+inch+inline+fan&qid=1585527865&sprefix=vivosun&sr=8-3

This is the humidifier I use: https://www.amazon.com/TaoTronics-Humidifiers-Ultrasonic-Humidifier-Operation/dp/B07H2717BM/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=humidifier&qid=1585527962&sr=8-5

I leave a a 12"x4" vent open as an intake. I have 3 circulation fans in the tent one at ground level one midway up the tent and one up above the light.

This is the light: https://www.amazon.com/Phlizon-Spectrum-Growing-Monitor-Adjustable/dp/B07ML3NDDY/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=phlizon+cree+cob+series+1000w+led&qid=1585528074&sprefix=philizon+cree&sr=8-1

The tent is in my spare bedroom. We keep our house at about 20-22c. Temps stay good and consistent but I have a hard time keeping the humidity up, right now I'm in veg. That being said I vent right out into the spare room and run a dehumidifier in there because I noticed minor condensation on the window after they first week.

I was wondering if this list of parts would be great for 8 plants.

First-time grower trying to research and gather parts for my first grow. The hardest thing is deciding on lights. I would appreciate some feedback.
