The Tenavolt ones are REALLY good! They output a constant 1.5V, so the controllers feel more smooth, and there's no controller glitching or rotation issues until the batteries are completely dead. What's better is that it's a pack of 4, so you can use 2 while the other 2 are charging and switch them out when you need to!

I got two sets of Lithium Rechargeable. Are these good??

I have THESE waiting for the G2 ;)

Get any rechargeable batteries that are more than 1.2V. I use these Tenavolt ones and they last me a few days between charges, and I'm a heavy user. I usually charge them around the 10 hour mark just to be safe. Not sure how long I went one time, but these ones tend to shut off the controller without warning when the charge gets low.

These rechargeable 1.5 V Lithium work perfectly in my WMR controllers:

Cannot recommend enough to get Lithium AAs that deliver 1.5V. I played through most of Half Life Alyx on a single charge.
These are the ones I got. They often go on sale. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07HQ7QV7W?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I got Tenavolts 1.5V AA rechargeables from Amazon, link below. They work great! They last a really long time between charges too. Not sure how long they are capable of because I have always recharged them every 10-12 hours of play. I heard you shouldn't drain lithiums completely between charges, supposedly that shortens their lifespan.

I have a Odyssey as well. After trying different rechargable batteries. I settled on some more expensive lithium rechargeables. They last forever and do not have the voltage drop issue.

These are the ones I'll probably end up getting, seems to have good reviews from VR users from searching the review section.
I think this brand is big in China.

I wish they had rechargeable battery packs. But a friend recommended me a set of AA batteries that seemed to be lasting very well.

Those are the ones I use. Also have used these. They charge faster but don't seem top last as long although I've never timed actual usage.

I started with Energizer NiMH batteries, but even with full charge they would almost immediately show as "low battery" and haptics would be disabled.
After a couple of months I switched to TENAVOLTS Lithium batteries and they have been so much better. No low battery warning and they seem to last a lot longer. I only use the NiMH batteries while the Lithium ones are recharging.

Next time they go on sale get these:

Batteries: Use Tenavolts. They're expensive at the moment, but they frequently go on sale. They last a long time, charge quickly, and won't show dead as soon as you put them in, like NiMh rechargables will.

Just get the lithium 1.5v batteries. Solved all of my problems. Like a dozen sessions between charges, no disconnecting after 5 seconds out of camera view or low battery warnings.

Theres a few others brands that are similar. Try searching lithium ion rechargable AA. Not necessarily the brand that makes these good its the fact they put out constant 1.5v.

I would change the rechargeble batteries to tenavolts https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07HQ7QV7W/ref=ox_sc_act_image_12?smid=A3C3X8J5JMT0HL&psc=1 They will stay the same charge and dead

I use the G1 controllers with these lion batteries https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HQ7QV7W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share They work great, and last longer per charge than standard alkalines.

Definitely get yourself some rechargeable AA batteries for the controllers. Get a set of 4, that way you can have 2 in the controllers and the other 2 charged and ready to swap at any time.
I personally use Tenavolts, but a lot of people here also like Panasonic Eneloops.

Well the problem with 1.2v nimh is that regular batteries run at 1.5v (but eventually drop to 1.2v as their charge is depleted) and that is taken and turned into 5v by the gpi case. So long story short apparently they dont last much more than regular batteries even with the higher mah
Now lithium ion batteries on the other hand are constantly at 1.5v....which is awesome. It means more power at the same mah, which should translate to longer hours of gameplay.
You can find all the ones I mentioned on Amazon.com Here is one of them https://www.amazon.com/TENAVOLTS-Rechargeable-Batteries-rechargeable-electrical/dp/B07HQ7QV7W
I found this question there
"Any one tried them with gpi case? how much improvement in battery life do you get? (how many hours)"
And one dude answered
"These lithium batteries rock.my sone uses them in gpi and other apps...thats why i brought. They last at least 25% more... in hours in a gpi i woud say 10 hrs more then ni cad recharge and even more over alkaline"
10 freaking hours on the gpi case sound insanely awesome...but I am not sure how accurate it is and i wanted to ask if anyone has tried them.

I use these batteries and my controllers last for weeks.
a constant 1.5v makes a huge difference, and i get well over 20+ hours of play before they run out.

I went through three replacements of this brand; I hope you have better luck than me, but mine kept dying almost immediately in my quest 1 (they work just fine for less intensive items). I bought some other brands—so far deleepow are working well (Deleepow Rechargeable AA Lithium... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089LQ3K1L?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share). I also have these arriving next week: TENAVOLTS 1.5V AA Lithium Rechargeable Battery, 1.8h Fast Charge, USB Charger, Constant Output at 1.5V, 2775 mWh, 4 Count with Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HQ7QV7W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_sD-ZFb7GNHRJ4

I am getting recommendations of these amptorrent ones and these tenavolts ones from a friend of mine. Supposedly they run at a full 1.5 volts until they die for maximum power stability.

Okay, that’s pretty funny. Glad I could help!
These are the lithium’s i use, and they’re great. But I got them for like $12 per four pack. I wouldn’t pay the current price of $35. TENAVOLTS 1.5V AA Lithium Rechargeable Battery, 1.8h Fast Charge, USB Charger, Constant Output at 1.5V, 2775 mWh, 4 Count with Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HQ7QV7W
But apparently just cleaning the contacts helps a lot. https://www.reddit.com/r/WindowsMR/comments/gp90f4/reverb_generation_2_leaked_images/

I got these Delipow batteries and DON'T recommend these. 1 of the 4 I bought was a dud, but amazon lets me return it. ALWAYS check your batteries when you get them if buy online. Like any li-ion they show 100% on my quest controllers, then they just stop sometimes in the middle of a game, I much rather prefer my energizer NiMh 1.2v batteries in my quest as they show me about how much life they have...
Anyone tried TENEVOLTS? They got over 1k reviews and they charge on a charger... was wondering if there's a difference between charger charging or usb (probably not)... And do the NiZn 1.6v batteries show the battery life like NiMh? I am kind of leaning toward some NiZn PKCELL bats for my next purchase...

I had the basic enloops which I thought were working, but I did start getting some random tracking issues.
I now use tenavolts rechargeable lithiums which someone here recommended. Been using them for a while now and they have been great.

People are saying that Enerloops will work but they're only 1.2v. HP is saying u need 1.5v batteries. You can buy 1.5v rechargeable batteries, they cost quite a bit more though than enerloops.
My plan is to just try my enerloops as i have quite a lot of them and see for myself. If they don't work i'll look at getting some 1.5v rechargeable
Here are some 1.5v ones on sale for $26 right now with pretty high review ratings

I have this setup and regularly leave my Eneloops in the chargers. I have not noticed any reduction in life span. The only other rechargeables I have tried are these Tenavolts AA batteries and they come with their own charger and instruction to NOT use anything else to charge them. So, I don't have much to say about other brands working with the Eneloop chargers.

Personally, I bought the link cable, but I haven't even used it because Virtual Desktop lets you have the pcvr experience without wires. I also bought an elite strap with battery. Most people are in agreement that the stock strap isn't great. Everything else I'll list is little conveniences

If its NiMH, then its probably 1.2v. Try to look for lithium rechargeable instead.

There are 1.5v LiIon AA's and AAA's that recharge via a more traditional looking external charger. Basiclaly all it does is to apply +5V (or +4.2V) to the externla terminals and the internal charging circuit does the rest.

Amazon carries the TENAVOLT 1.5V rechargeable lithium battery (https://www.amazon.com/TENAVOLTS-Rechargeable-Batteries-rechargeable-electrical/dp/B07HQ7QV7W). There is 3.7V 750mAh rated lithium ion cylindrical cell inside with always-on circuit to convert it to 1.5V to the +/- terminals of the AA battery, plus charging circuitry using the same terminals. Amazon reviews seem reasonably good and there are reviewers who bought it explicitly for the Blink camera. There is a review and teardown on YouTube showing the internal battery and circuitry (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L62tCyOP06w).
There are similar batteries from other brands on Amazon though they have fewer reviews than TENAVOLT. Deleepow (https://www.amazon.com/Deleepow-Rechargeable-Lithium-Batteries-Auto-Safety/dp/B07QV8GYV3) also has good reviews and one reviewer verified their 2700+mAh capacity (at 1.5V) with 2 different battery analyzers, which is even higher than Eneloop Pro at 2500mAh @ 1.2V. KENTLI (https://www.amazon.com/KENTLI-Rechargeable-Battery-Lithium-ion-Batteries/dp/B019O4WISY) is another brand but reliability is so-so, and currently cost more than the other 2.
I usually avoid batteries with built-in USB charging port since a significant portion of the battery is used to house the connector instead of storing energy. For instance, the Delipow AA with micro USB socket (https://www.amazon.com/Delipow-Rechargeable-Batteries-Lithium-Capacity/dp/B07QV55YH9) is rated at 2800mWh at 1.5V or 1867mAh.
I'm just doing research for a friend who bought the Blink XT2 and interested in rechargeables so I have not tested or bought the batteries mentioned. If I get a chance, I may try my Eneloops on them, though probably for a short period of time.

I personally use an amvr mask and amvr hand grips but vrcover makes excellent mask replacements aswell, about the same quality. Rechargeable batteries are a great option aswell. To make this easier, I’ll just give all the links to everything I bought:
If you have short hair I recommend these special earbuds but if your hair would go over them, they’re annoying: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TYYP62B/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_i_FTQ.DbXTEV9E6
AMVR Controller Grips: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X117LPR/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_i_LsP.DbDDZ7P36
Battery pack that makes the quest battery last about 3x longer: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00X5RV14Y?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
AMVR Face cover: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VT3BM7P?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Batteries: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HQ7QV7W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Hope this helped!

Interesting mod.
In preparation for Windows Mixed Reality Reverb G2 controllers, I've purchased some constant 1.5v output lithium ion batteries. So far they are working well with my Rift S.
Here are some examples:
