I have these. The only downside is they only come in bulk packs and you only need 4-8 of them. Search for " Picture photo frame metal spring turn clip hanger" on Amazon if the link below doesn't work.

Hey OP, order some of these and ditch the binder clips. Works great for larger builds and much easier to get on and off.

These are the best bed clips.

I just bought these a couple weeks ago I’m loving them! Definitely didn’t need 100 of them but it was cheaper than a set of 4 Swiss clips and work the same.

I recently switched to these. They are very low profile and hold the glass well.

Hey having the same problem. You can move the clip at the cost of equal force distribution or you can order some clips like these https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07X2MRW76?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image

You can also use swiss clips.

You can also replace the clips with lower profile ones made for picture frames.
You don't need 100 but this gives you the idea. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X2MRW76/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_PdNJEbS7A7T99
I use these with my Ender 3 glass bed and they are super stable and nothing hits them unless you print right to the edge.

I use these Swiss clips, which are a lot smaller than the paper clips https://www.amazon.com/TBWHL-Picture-prtiner-26mmx14mm-1inchx0-55Inch/dp/B07X2MRW76/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=swiss+clips&qid=1584422814&sr=8-3

If you're going to use clips, use these. They're less intrusive than binder clips.

Also, if this is your first printer, I'd highly recommend getting used to the stock E3P before installing the SKR. Besides giving you experience, you gain an appreciation of the upgrades you're doing. Practically, it also helps you troubleshoot problems if you establish a baseline and then install upgrades one at a time. Lastly, if you're not super familiar with the process, you could get wrapped up in the upgrades for a long time before ever printing (the BTT boards are great, but definitely not bugfree).
To be clear, I'm not saying that stock is the best. I would classify my ender as moderately upgraded, and, while the upgrades convey a lot of benefits, new headaches can arise as well. Establishing a baseline with your printer is important and advised. Have fun and good luck!

I only use PLA. But I know PETG has excellent glass adhesion, to the point it can fuse to glass. I don't have an enclosure so I don't print with ABS.
For clips, use these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X2MRW76/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They're called Swiss Clips. They're used for picture hanging behind glass. Amazon has a bag of 100 I bought. Here's the link

I use 4 of these, they work great and are not in the way https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X2MRW76/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_HvCyEb8K3215W

I use Picture frame clips. They hold pretty well, stay out of the way, and are easily removable.

I went with the "French Clips" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X2MRW76/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . They go on and come off easily and there is no clearance problem with the BLTouch or the print head. I only wanted 8, so now I'm looking for projects where I can use 92 more. LOL

You can buy 100 of them off Amazon for $15: https://www.amazon.com/TBWHL-Picture-prtiner-26mmx14mm-1inchx0-55Inch/dp/B07X2MRW76/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3HA1ZMURC5PBY&dchild=1&keywords=swiss+clips&qid=1589928152&sprefix=swiss+cl%2Caps%2C162&sr=8-2
There's also some jackass 3D shop selling them individually for $6 - yes, each - on Amazon as well if you want a laugh or maybe a drive by 1-star review.

I've been using some photo frame clips, similar to the Swiss clips, from Amazon and they work great. Better than those office binder clips! The original binder clips would always clip my fan ducts and these little photo clips pass right under.

I'm using them on a 4mm borosilicate glass with the defacto-standard BuildTak-like surface they provide -- works great!

Thanks, I’ll get those.
Edit: no I won't. The shipping was $24 for 4 clips at $5. I'll try these.
Edit edit: I actually searched eBay for "D clips swiss" and found 32 from Britain for $12 USD, and reasonable shipping.

Just remove the magnetic sheet. I put a piece of aluminum foil between the bed and the new glass. Read it helps with heat transfer (it may help slightly), but also so it doesn't permanently stick to bed.
Just remember to adjust your z-stop on the bottom left of the gantry when you get it installed to account for the new thickness. Then re-level and good to go.
Binder clips are ok, but bulky. I use swiss clips, but took a while to get them to US. I hear these from Amazon are also good.

They are just paper binding clips nothing special. If you want a nicer version look for swiss clips. They are lower profile. In the meantime just tape the corners of your bed down and you should be ok until you get some binder clips. Your local Wal-Mart of Office Supply store will have these also.

After a month of printing PPE, and a few upgrades in-between, I finally got around to dialing in and recording a first layer I'm proud to share alongside some tips!
(Video of that first layer print!)
Here are the "Performance" Upgrades for my Ender 3 Pro:
- Yellow bed springs (Amazon)
- Mirror glass bed cut to size (Home Depot)
- Swiss Clips for the mirror (Amazon)
- X-belt Tensioner (Amazon)
- Capricorn PTFE tubing and couplings kit (Captubes.com)
- SKR Mini e3 v1.2 (for Marlin 2.0.x) (Amazon)
- Raspberry Pi 4 w/ Octoprint (for remote printing and accurate completion times)
Some bed leveling notes/tips:
- Make sure you're working with a flat and clean surface! Soap and warm water do amazingly enough for mirror+glass beds. I grabbed a 6-pack of mirror glass from Home Depot for ~$11.
- Be diligent and consistent while Manual Mesh bed leveling. While you're Z-Offsetting each point, the nozzle pressure against your piece of paper/feeler gauge should be as close as possible to the other mesh points. (I use a 3x3 grid)
- While printing bed leveling tests, TUNE your Z-Offset. Be sure to start with something close to your feeler gauge's height. A piece of paper is ~0.1mm, but I still ended up with a -0.147mm offset for MY mesh points.
- Make sure to dial in your FLOW too! Overextrude, and you rough ripples and wrinkles. Underextrude, and you'll have gaps in between your layers and perimeters. You can tune flow % mid-print as well!
Future Upgrade Notes:
I was thinking about getting an ABL like the BLTouch. But after finally getting these results manually, I don't think I need one unless I plan on using multiple print beds for rapid consecutive print jobs. Cuz even in my 6-pack of mirror glass, there's still some inconsistencies in glass height.
But instead, I think I might look into hotend and direct drive upgrades. Or maybe silent fans to go FULL ultra silent printing!!
