A bit late to the thread but I just picked up a set of these and they have been wonderful. It won't solve everything but it helps keeping things neat and hidden and they are super cheap.

Thank you very much!

The cable management was thanks to this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FFN2HN6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The wallpaper is from Wallpaper Engine, which is on Steam.

I ended up using these. I like it as you can hide a lot of cable in them.

It's flush with the front, but sticks out from the back by 1-2 inches. I have a cable organizer on the back that sits flush on top of it, so the protruding part isn't visible at all.

That looks beautiful! And your wallpaper is awesome!

For cable management I recommend getting a cable raceway and mounting it to the underside of your desk with some mounting tape. I even mounted a surge protector so only one cable needs to run from the desk to the wall outlet.

I picked up this a little while back. It’s a little larger than the one you linked so it should accommodate more cables.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FFN2HN6 can’t recommend this enough for cable management. Have it running along the entire back side of the desk, works great!

From personal experience trying to get the best cable management for my buck I only purchased the link below but I feel that if would have purchased the two of them together i would have a much cleaner and practical setup ; I am very happy with how it came out but I eyeballed this thing for over two weeks and regret not snagging it. Purchase both and do it right.

Hey thanks for the picture! I can understand the challenge when you have the need to move things around often.

If its any help, you can consider sticking something like this 'slotted' raceway to the edge of your table. Helps for setups that are shifted a lot since you can just run it straight to the nearest 'slot' and feed the other end down into your tray.

Ah yes, you’re right! Thank you! Do you have anything you’d recommend for that? I just got the printer stand a couple days ago and wanted to make sure I had enough clearance, turns out it’s plenty.

Here’s the link to the raceway kit I got. They have an adhesive back to them and fit absolutely perfect behind the legs of my desk.

I just installed these today and am very happy with them. The adhesive is pretty serious though so put them where you want them the first time. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FFN2HN6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_ENHSFbNT15BD0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

There are velcro ties out there which work great and are reusable. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001E1Y5O6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_u5vhEbFNAPDHM

There are also cable concealers that adhere to your wall if you have the room for it and want to go that route. Like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FFN2HN6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_D7vhEb6P6EH6V

I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/Stageek-Management-Concealer-Organizer-Computers/dp/B07FFN2HN6

I stuck them on the back of the drawers vertically on the sides closest to the middle of the desk, then a few on the bottom of the table top at the very back all between the drawers. I routed all my cables through those before putting anything back on the desk.

Cables for monitors and webcam come up from behind the speakers so they're concealed as much as possible.

Cable raceways, velcro ties, planning and patience.

So rather than just coiling them and letting them hang try using some good cable clips or a track adhered to the back of the panel.

I've gotten really good at cable management (Thanks OCD!) and have learned that you probably shouldn't just leave them to hang but if you have a bunch of wires that run in the same direction the cable clips can help a lot, minimize the space used and overall looks pretty nice.

For bigger, thicker cables then I'd suggest a 'racetrack' because they work pretty good, they look good, and you don't necessarily have to spend a ton of time dressing the cables.

Not OP but I used these and they really helped my cable Management

cable runner

cable clips

Mounted power strip

Mount the power supply under the desk, run all the wires through the cable runner, and clip them underneath where needed. $50~ well spent!

So I gather all the cables will be on the desk itself. Honestly getting some nice looking j channels and a decorative box for a power strip would do wonders.

J channels like this

And a power strip box like this

You could also probably consolidate the cables with some cable sleeves if you would like.

Thanks a lot ! Yeaaahh I totally get the uneasiness. If you start thinking about it you can't relax ahah. Yep it was kinda awkward to take picture with my shitty smartphone, since the room is longer than larger. There's only about 50cm between my bed and the extremity of the desk.

I used something like this for the cables https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FFN2HN6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Took me less than one hour to install and tuck the cables in.

The shelves are leftover off cuts of the desktop, the cable management is primarily race ways + A feed through in my desk + a underdesk basket + velcro straps and double sided tape. Below are relevant links. https://www.amazon.com/Stageek-Management-Concealer-Organizer-Computers/dp/B07FFN2HN6/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=cable+raceway&qid=1603669349&sr=8-4 https://www.amazon.com/WireRun-Desk-Cable-Organizer-Tray/dp/B07BB7N162/ref=sr_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=cable+basket&qid=1603669387&sr=8-12

Shelves are Ekby Valter shelf brackets with off cut's of my desk top as the physical shelf. https://www.amazon.com/EKBY-VALTER-Selves-Bracket-Black/dp/B01MXSWS1F/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=ekby&qid=1603669660&sr=8-2

Mine weren't black, but untreated. I painted them white with an ole brush and can.

I would not recommend Duct Tape for cable management.
Maybe look into cable trays or something similar.
I use the IKEA wire management trays under my desk and they have been great.
Had I taken the time to find these items when I was working on my desk, I would have gotten them as they are cleaner in long run.
