I meant to post these:

They are some of the best wireless headphones in the market. My dad has a big head, and I have a small head. They fit both of us very comfortably. The standard ones have good, balanced sound, but I linked the bassy ones for you. Good battery life. You can use them wired if you want. You can use noise cancelling, but you can turn it off. They have nice touch controls on the side. And they don't break the bank.

I'm thinking of buying one too. According to MKBHD, they are fairly comfortable. Also it would be nice to get them now cause they are on discount. They used to be $349.99 and now they are $278. Such a nice deal for a good quality headphone.

Best Buy is the only retailer that sells the Blue color.

Marpac —the one with ten level adjustments that can be controlled through your phone for noise machine (the others were not loud enough)

Looks like there is a major sale on them right now

-Bose quiet comfort 35 are the most comfortable

-Apple air pods, because they are convenient

-also use macs soft foam ear plugs, I got the women’s brand because they are thinner and they work a lot better

Hope that helps

No, it's the XM4. They also only have 2 buttons, and you don't have many options on what they can do. Here's a link - https://www.amazon.com/Sony-WH-1000XM4-Canceling-Headphones-phone-call/dp/B0863TXGM3

Edit: On re-read, you may be talking about the same thing. The full name is the "Sony WH-1000XM4."

I'd say Sony WH-1000XM4 for all that matters to you, but it doesn't cover the discreet part, for they are quite bulky headphones... In that case, maybe the WF-1000XM3 are the best option...

That's interesting! I'll do some research on that. I also found some devices that use a new protocol aptX-Low Latency. Looks like maybe (for a bit of cash) I could use this transmitter with these headphones.

Hey all, I'm looking at the following two pairs of headphones:

- Bose QuietComfort 35 II ($200)

- Sony WH-1000XM4 ($280)

I've read and watched some reviews on the Internet about them but it seems like a toss-up in a lot of cases, was hoping to get some more opinions (I've previously owned a pair of QC35 gen 1's and quite liked them, but never tried the Sony's).

My use cases:

- Voice calls at work via zoom / teams

- Noise cancellation to block out the office noises

- Music (EDM and Classic rock mostly)

I'm also open to other suggestions I guess as well if anyone thinks there are a better pair. Not looking to spend over the Sony M4 price mark

Are the sony's worth the extra basically $100 after tax?

Thank you! :)

Guys what is the difference between theses ones? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0863TXGM3/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzRjgzSkFCV0JFRFFSJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNjU5NTk0MTAwRTNVOUNZVDk5MiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwODA4MjY1MjVEWVdBQ1VSVDBXNCZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2RldGFpbDImYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl

Title says its without mic and voice control. As I'm checking official Sony website, there are only headphones with the MIC. So is it really these without microphone?

Hey Mom! : P I Have the Sony WH-1000 XM3 Noise Canceling and they are Outstanding, you'll find plenty of reviews that say that they are the King of ANC, you'll feel like you're inside a sarcophagus or under water, they block a lot of noises except dogs barking.

Amazon Sony WH-1000 XM3 $238.00

but there's a new version of them that just released : Sony WH-1000 XM4 $349

But besides that, I don't understand why the police haven't fined them, where I live there's a Anti Noise Law that measures decibels and takes action against that

Mic is Elgato Wave 3 w/ the pop filter + shock mount

The boom arm is the Rode PSA1

and I'm using Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones wired into the mic

I've used Bose QC35ii for three years and loved them. A couple weeks ago they starting cutting off and on every few minutes so I bought the new Sony XM4's which are also great. However, I only ever use these in my home for music and gaming so active noise cancelling may not be crucial for me. I would love recommendations for headphones around the same price that may sound better.

Budget - $350 but flexible to go up a little more.

Source - Desktop - Yamaha MG10XU

Requirements for Isolation - Not required. Probably not open back though as my GF shares the same space as I use them in.

Will you be using these Headphones in Public? - Might use them in my work's office building which is relatively quiet.

Preferred Type of Headphone - Prefer on-ear? Whatever style the Bose QC35ii and Sony XM4's are. Preferred tonal balance - I have my Sony XM4's EQ'd with more bass.

Past headphones - Bose QC25 - Bose QC35ii - Sony WH-1000XM4

Preferred Music - I listen to all types from John Mayer to Juice WRLD to LoFi to 90s Country. I am a musician too so being able to single out an instrument is nice to hear.

What would you like to improve on from your set-up - More detailed sound. In gaming I play Overwatch, Valorant, and Siege and spacial sound is very important too. So knowing which direction sound is coming from.
