As somebody who loves food spicier then I ought, I am SO glad that I got bidets for my house pre-pandemic. We essentially got a budget butt spa for our master bath for our anniversary last year, and 2 weeks later I got a cheapo for the other bathroom. 20 bucks. I gotta say, the butt spa uses a tankless water heater and it's a conservative mid-level guy, so the pressure isn't really great, but all of the features are enough that I love doing a rinse cycle and blow dry every night before bed. But when I need to drop deuces that will beat a straight flush, I'm heading to the cheapo. That thing takes cold water from the tap and blasts it at my turd locker like a kid with his thumb on the garden hose. The throttle is on a dial; a quarter turn will clean ya, a half turn will clean inside ya, and a full turn will come out your nose. On especially bad mornings (or evenings after a bad spice decision at lunch) I'll turn it a hair past the click of 0% and just let the cool water dribble on my poor weeping brown eye. The same luxury is twice the price and double the wait these days, but if my cheapo ever breaks, I'd pay 10 times that. My ghost pepper plant just started giving me usable fruit and the first sauce is almost done fermenting. Bad decisions are coming.

Mine has a separate stream for each. It has a dial with two settings: one icon looks like a butt and the other looks like a woman in a dress being sprayed. The stream is very narrow and you wiggle around to apply it to different spots, so it's not like the whole area is getting drenched.

Ha! Did the same, have a pack of baby wipes in each bathroom just in case, so far haven't needed them. But, seriously, do yourself a favor and add a cheap bidet to your toilet, then you only need the paper for drying.

Not sure where you are specifically but if it's a standard toilet for the US then you can get a bidet that's easy to install and is transferable when you move. The bidet fits under the seat on top of the rim and uses a T adapter with the water supply so water runs both to the tank and the bidet. Honestly there's no need to wait for a better or more permanent place.

• make sure the included hose is braided metal, not plastic

• make sure it includes all necessary connectors and hoses

I have an expensive but really totally worth every damn penny Toto Washlet seat. Yes, it is $900. We've bought toilet paper now once a year, with a heated seat, warm air dryer, warm water, and multiple options plus a remote. Love it.

Previously had one of these, and sorry, looks like the price has gone up since I last bought one which was in 2013. Cold water, so not as pleasant, but gets the job done and again, reduces our toilet paper usage to almost zero.

A bidet, (Pronunciation: buh-day) It's basically a water fountain for your butthole. Now before you say "why would you buy this, just wipe", think about it. Anything you will need to install it comes with it. I've bought two different ones and they both came with everything including hose, t-connection, and a rubber washer to prevent leakage.

If I had to recommend one, I'd say the Greenco is best just because it has a little lever to angle the water up and down which is nice.

Not sure. My wife bought ours for my birthday. I listen to a lot of Bert kreischer and her recommends one of his sponsors. He describes it like... If you got shit on your arm, would you wipe it off with paper or wash it off? The ones he recommends are like $80 and up though. My buddies looks like this, but the one my wife got us looks like this. I doubt she paid that much though.
