I would 100 percent reccomend this monitor. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N6ZBCVY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_oQIGFbGGPAY3Z I've never had a monitor before, and this one wasn't extremely expensive, and its curved, 144 hertz, and edge less

Recording PS4 from monitor with 2 inputs?

I have a Spectre 27" moniter that's a DP and HDMI. I was wondering could I plug my PS4 into the HDMI and record from my computer using OBS? If not my only other option is to use RemotePlay at the loss of video quality.

I have a curved 27 inch 144hz monitor by Scepter and I love it! Very crisp. It came with some dead pixels and they replaced it for no cost they even paid shipping and support is fast to respond. Currently about $300 or £250

Absolutely. I did so much research to find something under 250 bucks that ticked off the majority of what I wanted.

I originally was going to stay with 60 hz since frame rate isn't AS big of a deal to me as most enthusiasts. I'm more of the "sacrifice frame rate for prettier viauals/resolution" kind of guy, but I decided to try the 144hz panel and see how I like it. If you can run games at that frame rate...it's absolutely worth it. It's impossible to see the effect in videos (since most run at 60fps at the high end) and it's hard to explain/describe. The fluidity and smoothness of 144hz is REALLY nice. Hell even at 90ish fps on MW feels heads and shoulders better than 60 fps.

The main one there is this: Sceptre Curved 27" 144Hz Gaming LED Monitor Frameless AMD Freesync Premium DisplayPort HDMI Build-in Speakers, Machine Black 2020 (C275B-144RN) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N6ZBCVY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_b2elFbSY40VEQ

The one on the left is actually a vesa mounted iPad Pro 12.9 in 2020 model. I run it on my home setup with the duet display app to make it work as a second monitor.

Eventually I’ll probably upgrade my main monitor to a 27in 1440p display and use the sceptre as my second screen, but I kind of like the smaller form factor of the iPad for more focused things, like papers or spreadsheets for work. Also adding a touch screen option to my desktop is pretty handy for quickly highlighting info

Thank you very much! A lot of time and research went into it. Thank goodness my boyfriend has a lot of experience.

It's the Sceptre 27" Curved 144Hz Gaming LED Monitor. I really like it so far. I ran it through some tests and it does well. Zero tearing and the 144hz is incredible!

I did notice one small dead pixel, but it only shows up on a completely black image/scene, it doesn't bother me enough to send it back. My bf has a 27" flat monitor and for some reason my curved monitor of the same size looks bigger lol

Ok cool. Everywhere I am looking appears to be out of stock today. If you had a good experience with that brand, here is a 32 in Sceptre monitor that may meet your needs.

I know what you mean with those brackets. I do IT and I had to use those for a client and they where kinda janky to use. The one's I bought also had adjustments on the brackets so there was multiple adjustments I had to do just to make it kinda level. If you're in the market for cheap gaming monitors I have three Sceptre 144hz monitors that are a really good price.

Ive been looking for a 144hz 1080p 27" gaming monitor with a budget of $200. I already have a Dell IPS 24" with great colors, and would use these together, so I dont mind this one have sub par colors. Should I wait to find something better, or would this suit me well?

I've read posts about this Asus VP249QG being good as well as the AOC 24G2. They both are <$200 budget 24" IPS 144hz Freesync panels. My brother recently ordered this VA panel 144hz (up to 185hz) 27" curved Spectre monitor for $198+tax Amazon and is pretty happy with it. He ordered it like last week, but unfortunately are just being sold by third party vendors.

I sit about 2 feet away and have been looking at this budget 27" monitor or a 32" 120hz tv. https://www.amazon.com/Sceptre-Edge-Less-FreeSync-DisplayPort-C275B-144RN/dp/B07N6ZBCVY/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=cheap+144hz+monitor&qid=1580389369&sr=8-4 Or the 24" version for $30 less. Both can be had for around the same price as the tv but I thought bigger would be better..ie for work as I can use 1 big one vs my small laptop and a 2nd monitor.

Good to know! But let's say I wanted to upgrade to a pair of these monitors. (I don't plan to immediately, but a friend just did and I'm super jell-o.) Can you recommend a good CPU to upgrade to?

Sorry I wasn’t specific enough. The monitors I’m using is this I’m not sure what you want the budget for as that all depends on what it is. And also I’m not just dropping a straight 2k on this build. I already have both of the m.2 drives for storage and will be selling my pc for around $500-$600. So in reality I’m paying around $700 sorry for not being specific enough for this.

There are so many that it's hard to recommend a specific one. I have the Alienware 25" myself. You can get cheaper than that in the Scepter 27" if you want. Your best bet is to query "Freesync Monitor" on Amazon and whatnot and see what comes up.

A scepter 27" curved. It's my personal monitor and pretty cheap for what it is since it's 144hz it's a really high quality monitor I've been using it for months nowhere's the Amazon link

Hey, as a heads up, don't buy Seagate hard drives. They tend to fail, and when they do its irreparable. Go for Western Digital drives instead. Especially if you have important work on that drive.

The rest that theyve given is good.

as for monitors

That would be great! That price point gets you a lot more power than the one I sent. Also, what do you think of this monitor, it sounds like you want something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N6ZBCVY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_SE2nFbAXMGXMV

Personally I would just get a normal 24 inch monitor to start off with though, this one is really good and goes on sale for $150. Super good deal:

Gotchya, well your most intensive out of that would be apex/gta v soo heres a list of some stuff that should work for ya.

PC1: USD $1,469.99 ALIENWARE AROURA (RYZEN)

PC2: USD $1,079.99 IBUYPOWER -NEWEGG (RYZEN)

PC3: USD $1,899.99 SkyTech -NEWEGG (INTEL) I recommend this one the most TBH.

Both of these keyboards are really good, i suggest going with a mechanical one. they are a bit louder but they last much longer and feel so much better. Look at these ones to get an idea of what your looking for.

Keyboard 1: $159.99 Razer Huntsman Elite -AMAZON

Keyboard 2: $103.99 Corsair K68 -AMAZON

Mouse 1: $69.99 Corsair Dark Core SE -AMAZON

Mouse 2: 69.99 Razer DeathAdder V2 -AMAZON I have this one and i really like it.

MAKE SURE that the monitor you get works with the PC you get, the only thing you need to check is the ports on the monitor vs the ports on the GPU for the PC. EX: if both the GPU and PC have a display port, your good to go. for 1080P 60hz HDMI will work fine, for 4k+ OR 144hz you should stick with display port (DP)

(I recommend you get a 144hz monitor. heres some good ones, or use them as an example for finding other monitors.)

Monitor 1: 185.99 Sceptre 27" Curved 1080p 144hz (DISPLAY PORT+ HDMI) -AMAZON

Monitor 2: 429.99 ROG Strix XG32VQ 31.5" Curved 1440p 144hz (Display Port) -AMAZON

Monitor 3: 104.97 Sceptre 24" Curved 1080p 60-75HZ (DISPLAY PORT + HDMI)

ill edit more stuff in as i look for stuff you will need. do you already have a headset?
