BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P are HORRENDOUS, need help fixing them.
These monitor colors are horrendous! They honestly look even worse than my second monitor. I have tried almost every guide out there, but nothing has gotten me a good color quality that looks good both in game and watching Netflix. The only reason I am keeping this monitor is due to the high framerate (144 FPS) or this thing would not be sitting on my desk right now.
I am honestly stumped here on what to do for colors and if anyone knows any good settings, please tell me them. I guess that's what you get for cheaping out on a 144hz monitor...

This seems like the best budget monitor. A very good budget mouse is the Steelseries Rival 3. Then with the leftover money, see if you can get a Corsair K55.

Found a Viewsonic XG2405 near me for about $180. Wondering if this is a good buy? I was told to look for the AOC 24G2, but I can't find it anywhere less than $210-220 (looks like resellers). Previously, I had asked more open ended and got linked to this for closer to 100$, but it seems like the Viewsonic is a big step up?

We ended up picking her up this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0773ZY26F
If you look at the bad reviews most of them are people not understanding what they bought or nothing against the hardware. Some one stars are "No Remote"
The other common review I see is dead pixels/monitor broke. The school I work at has these everywhere since they are cheap and buying bulk we got them cheaper and we have about 1 or 2 a year fail. The dead pixels are always an easy fix of just tapping the screen near them.
I am not saying these are the best monitor in the world, but a lot of the negative reviews are a little misleading.

Upgrade your monitors, get some posters to show originality, and throw some rgbs in the setup.

I have this monitor for my PC and it's great, but it's relatively heavy (12 lbs) which makes it a pain to take to smash locals.
I ended up getting a much lighter monitor, some Sceptre thin monitor that's 4 pounds. It's my 2nd desktop monitor but I unplug it to bring to locals two or three times a week.
Just something to consider, if you are planning to take it to events then don't forget to think about the weight.

Holy Crap, Thank you! This all looks great! I have a couple of questions...
1) how good will this be for gaming (I think I will primarily use this for gaming and CAD less, I’d say about a 15:1 ratio of gaming to CAD) so will this configuration preform well for both?
2) How “powerful” will this be? What types of games will it be able to run? I would like to primarly play Overwatch, LOL, Valorant, and other games like that.
3) What card would you recommend for my previous mentioned use(15:1 gaming to CAD Ratio)?
4) I was also doing a bit of research my self and wondered if these would be good options? a) Monitor - https://www.amazon.com/Sceptre-E248W-19203R-Monitor-Speakers-Metallic/dp/B0773ZY26F b) Different GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Super SC Ultra Overclocked Dual-Fan 6GB GDDR6 PCIe 3.0 Graphics Card These are just some things I found that looked good, I’m completely inexperienced with this sort of thing so whatever you say I trust and will probably end up doing. I really have no preference (other than the basic things like price and performance) so I trust what ever you think is best.
Thanks again

Has anybody ever had a similar issue with this screen flickering?
I have this monitor and a Gigabyte GTX 1650 Super Windforce OC. I use an HDMI cable to connect them.
Whenever I have my monitor at 75hz I'm getting this weird flickering.
What is also strange is that it happens when the screen is mostly white like in the video. Another time it happens is when I'm playing call of duty and I'm hit with a flashbang. Also when youtube videos have mostly white pixels at the same time. Im not entirely sure what specific images trigger this. And it ONLY happens at 75hz.
I'm running the lastest nvidia drivers and lastest windows build. I tried using another cable and the issue is still happening. Maybe the type of cable is the problem, I'm thinking maybe switching to the DP output might solve the problem but will require buying a new cable.
Here are my specs:
- AMD Ryzen5 2600x
- GTX 1650 Super Windforce OC
- 16gb Ram
- ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero Motherboard

I would if I could, but those only go to up to 17 inches. My laptop itself is 17-inches, so that wouldn't be worth the effort. The parts are:
- LG Gram 17 2019 laptop
- This monitor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0773ZY26F
- I'm leaning towards this battery pack because it is the largest capacity I can buY: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0773ZY26F
And whatever cables are needed to join all these together.

Almost ready to build for the first time!
I'm super excited! I've never built before and never had a desktop I've been stuck gaming on a laptop for years. I've been thinking about building for a while now but never got around to really looking into it until recently. For the past week and change I've been researching and refining my parts list. It's been almost non stop reading and watching videos on how to build a PC, and tons of product reviews. I'm at the point where I'm just about ready to order everything and get building. I was going to order the other day, but some parts were out of stock so I decided to take a step back and get some last feedback and advice before I fully commit to everything.
Unfortunately I don't have any good stores near me like a microcenter or other equivalents. And any small time computer store is closed to walk ins for the foreseeable future. So I'm limited to online stock and ordering. Which normally I wouldn't care too much about but stuff is going in and out of stock constantly. Trying to keep my budget below $1400 for the tower to give me a little bit more money for monitors, but $1500 is my max. It's a gaming centered build but I like to keep a lot of tabs open and move back and forth while gaming. I also plan on getting into coding a little in the future to make some small mods for a few games I play. My goal is 1440p 144hz gaming. I'd like a dual monitor setup, monitors have been a bit of a mystery to me so I'll take any recommendations. More on everything below. Sorry this got a bit longer than I was anticipating I'm not great at concise.

Breaking down the list in order:
- CPU - Just a great value CPU. Don't think I really need more than this at the moment, not doing any picture/video editing or anything like that. I've had a few people try to talk my into a 3700x but I don't think I need the extra performance and the price tag. If I'm wrong and you think it may benefit me let me know, though that's a bit high on the budget.
- CPU Cooler - Not going to buy an extra one at the moment. I've heard the stock cooler can get a little bit noisy but we'll see. If I'm not a fan of it after a few weeks I'll order a better, quieter one.
- Motherboard - Originally I was going to go with the B450 tomahawk MAX. But that didn't have wifi or bluetooth. The chip for that could easily cost me as much as upgrading to the Pro Carbon so just went with the upgrade instead. But I was also eyeing up the Asus TUF Gaming X570 Plus (with WiFi). From my understanding it's the best budget X570 mobo at $190. Which is really only $30 more than the Pro Carbon. Is it worth the extra money? It seems like a flat out better mobo and a bit more future proof. Also I really like the look of RGB and the Asus Aura Sync seems like a really convenient feature to be able to control everything.
- Memory - Yeah I know most people keep telling me 32GB is overkill. But I like to run a lot of tabs and don't like to close them when I game, I know a lot of people like to close all background programs to run their game more efficiently. 32GB also helps future proof me as new games are getting more demanding I can keep doing what I'm doing and not have to buy more RAM in the future. Also throw in that I'm looking to code a bit I think 32GB is justified.
- Storage - From all my research the SX8200 Pro is one of the best NVME drives at it's price point. Kinda nuts what you get. I thought about doing just 256 GB for a boot drive but that small tends to be pretty bad for the price and 512 GB is a lot better. I plan to put my OS and a few games I play regularly on it. I'm also not crazy about HDDs so I opted for a Sata SSD instead. I don't tend to use a lot of space so 1TB should be fine. However I was thinking I could switch the NVME to 1TB and the Sata to 512 GB. Or maybe keep it at 1 TB and have 2 TB of storage available. Another option would be to swap the Sata for another NVME, however that seems to be substantially more expensive and not necessarily worth it. Or if anybody has a better value Sata SSD let me know.
- GPU - Good graphics card right at the edge of diminishing return where I don't think it's worth it to go any higher in this build. I thought about the 5700 XT but I'm still wary of the problems it's been having. I know they said they've fixed it now but I've still heard some stuff of lingering issues that need to be fixed. So with that going on and the 2070 Super being a bit better I'm pretty set on it.
- Case - I can't find the p400a digital in stock anywhere. Absolutely nothing everywhere I look. I think I found it one place but it was charging 50% more for it so no thank you not worth it. So either I'm going to wait to order everything until it's in stock or go for a different case. I really like the looks of the Lian Li Lancool 2, but it's stock thermals aren't great, pretty middle of the road. Though I was going to buy some extra case fans regardless because I really like RGB so maybe it's worth it. I'm trying not to get a super popular case everybody has and trying to keep the case under $100. Would love some suggestions on what to do for my case.
- Case fans - As I said above I really like RGB. So I was planning on getting a 3 pack of RGB case fans. Which could help make up for less than ideal thermals on a nice looking case.
- Power Supply - Man this is where having a microcenter would be super nice. I hear they have some great deals on their own brand PSUs. But I don't have one so I'm a bit limited and have to go a bit pricier. Not sure if I should bump up to 650W or not.
- Monitors - Could really use some recommendations on these. I want to run dual monitors. One 1440p 144hz for gaming and whatever else I do when not in game, the other will be mostly average web browsing. Monitors are really hard to find right now it seems. So I'd like to narrow down a list of good value gaming monitors and price watch them for a good deal. Trying to stay right around $300 for my main gaming monitor. If I can get one for less that would be ideal. I've heard conflicting information on what to do for a second monitor though. It seems literally everybody has a different opinion. I can't afford two of the same that's way too expensive. But I've heard everything from the PPI needs to be the same, the resolution needs to be the same or the resolution and refresh rate both need to be the same. I was going to go for a budget 1080p for my second monitor. I was eyeing up this monitor and this one. My current plan is to get the second monitor first and use that for the time being while I wait for a deal to drop on my main gaming monitor.
Sorry that got so long. I'm open to any advice you're willing to give. Alterations, suggestions, criticism, whatever. As a new builder the more info the better.
Edit: Failed at the formatting. Fixed now.

This is the build i am planning. I know it’s not too great but I can’t spend more than 1200 right now for the entire setup.
Any thing that sticks out or can be upgraded and still be in budget.
The build is for some gaming and streaming cod, fifa ,pubg etc but mostly for home office ( autocad, 30 +browser tabs ,photoshop, heavy excel use etc)
PS: I don’t care about rbg

Windows 10 can be used for free if you install it from a USB drive or whatever, you would just have a watermark in the corner that you can get rid of with instructions from Google.
The budget is honestly pretty tight for a new build with all brand new parts plus a monitor, so I had to cut corners on the CPU and RAM, and there's no dedicated GPU; but the above build should do you just fine for your use cases, as well as have a great path for future upgrades.
Minecraft and Roblox should be very playable despite there being no dedicated GPU in this build (The Athlon 3000g is an APU which means it has built in integrated graphics). If you're thinking of playing any more graphically demanding games though, you'll really want to look into saving up for a dedicated GPU. A CPU upgrade would also bring a significant performance increase. My suggested upcoming upgrades would be:
- A dedicated GPU: An RX 580 8 GB can be bought used for around $100 on /r/hardwareswap or eBay, or about $150 brand new. It would be able to handle nearly any game at 1080p.
- A better CPU: A Ryzen 1600 AF at $85 or a Ryzen 5 3600 at $175 would be huge upgrades to CPU performance but you would need to have a dedicated GPU before you get either of them.
- More RAM: You could buy those same RAM sticks again to make your RAM total 16 GB, which likely will be a minimum to run any demanding games in the near future. Or you could opt for faster RAM at 3200 or 3600 MHz, it's up to you of course.
- An extra case fan: This case has two nice RGB fans in it already so air flow should be solid, but I would recommend buying an extra 120 mm case fan when you upgrade your GPU to be used in the rear of your case as an exhaust fan. It would significantly reduce heat inside your case whenever you put a GPU and hotter CPU in there. Right now it's fine with just the two front intake fans.
