Or you can go with a 256gb Sandisk card for $5 cheaper.... SanDisk 256GB Ultra MicroSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - 100MB/s, C10, U1, Full HD, A1, Micro SD Card - SDSQUAR-256G-GN6MA,Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0758NHWS8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_v3x6EbR9WXK8Q

Is an extra 192GB worth $100 ?
I don't think so : https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-256GB-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B0758NHWS8/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=Micro+SD+256GB&qid=1605616381&sr=8-4
I know you can't add an sdcard to your quest, but as consumers we should not be encouraging this. They're clearly hoping you'll get the 256GB model, with a deluxe strap and a Link cable... And suddenly what was advertised as a $299 headset is costing you $600.
So yeah, stick with the $299 model. That's what they're advertising and you should not pay more.

No it's not, and that card is pretty much overkill when this one is cheaper and there's no real difference in performance when used for a 3ds.

That's the A1 version. Samsung should be pretty OK too. A2 is better, from my understanding.
Other brands are OK, but IMO Sandisk/Samsung are the best for micro SD and usb drives (but are more expensive). 256gb was the balanced price point for me, as higher sizes (400gb/512gb) had a more poor size/$ ratio.

And an adapter for microSD to USB.
Ian drives get hit and need more power to operate, you can't go wrong with a microSD card

That sounds like a $400 problem with a $38 solution.

I use San Disk and that is the only brand I'll use. All of the other brands always fail for me. Plus, only get your micro SD cards from big retail stores or big websites. That helps the return process go smoother if you have issues. Check this card out https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-256GB-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B0758NHWS8

RE-POSTING MY LATE-TO-THE-PARTY COMMENT FOR VISIBILITY
Late to the party, but I used this SanDisk 256gb MicroSD that was recommended by some of the YouTubers out there making review videos on the Wolfanoz image:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0758NHWS8
I'm using the correct HDMI port on the Pi, by the way.
I flashed the .img to the MicroSD using the imager tool on Linux. Interestingly, when I ran fsck against the two partitions, they both had (at least one) error which was then fixed.
I'm stuck at the rainbow color pattern screen, which eventually turns into just a black screen after a few minutes.
Anybody have any insight into this? I don't believe it's my MicroSD card at fault here.
Thanks in advance!

Nah, they're fine if you find them at the correct price though. Looking at the SanDisk site, they should be about the same price, maybe $5 more than one of their good, unbranded, cards. Basically, it's just a smidge more for a fancy paint job, and they're posted up in the Switch section of shops.
Problem is that I've almost never seen them for that price, and never in a good way. If you actually find them for MSRP, sure, they're a fine choice with solid performance. Otherwise, I'd say just find a good regular one from SanDisk, which go on sale far more frequently. Other good brands are Samsung and PNY.
If you're in the US, looks like there's a great deal today on Amazon for 128GB and 256GB cards. As for your previous card failure, regrettably it happens. That being said, I've purchased SanDisk products for well over 10 years now and they've routinely kept on trucking, so I wouldn't be put off by the brand if that has been concerning you.
Best of luck mate.

Yeah, the included storage is pretty small. Getting a MicroSD card is needed for most people
I recommend Sandisk or Samsung microSD cards. In particular, the Sandisk Ultra and Samsung Evo Select cards are great choices
I recommend at least 128GB, maybe 256 if you plan on purchasing a lot in the future. 256 is the sweet spot for me because it holds quite a few games. I doubt that I’ll ever need to upgrade since by the time I fill it up, I’ll be able to delete some of the games I don’t play anymore

Then store all your photos, videos, movies and games on the largest sd card your money can buy, for immediate instant access preserved offline.
Obviously dont make an sd card your main storage, make a proper hard drive your main backup and sd cards just your 'local cache'. Seriously, even if youre exceeding 100gb of google photos usage an sd card would be far more adequate.

Since you dont need it immediately, watch for sales. the 128, 200, and 256GB cards go on sale fairly frequently on amazon. You could double or quadruple your space for $25 or less.
Upgrading would be simple. Take out your old card, pop the new one into the system to make sure its formatted correctly. Then use a PC to simply drag the contents of the old card on to the new one. Insert it into your system and youre done!

I'm comparing apples to shinier apples that taste the same.
The Nintendo-branded one is a SanDisk 256 Ultra card, just with a fancy appearance. Here is the SanDisk (same brand) 256 Ultra card: https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-256GB-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B0758NHWS8/

I also edited my original comment immediately after posting to clarify that the price difference is because of the design.

Ya make sure you compare price to other stores and sellers because buying the cheapest means it's going to be fake.
For example I was looking for a 400GB card, they go for around £65 compared to all other well know shops, now there are sellers on amazon and ebay that list them at half the price or even lower, they are fake.
Make sure you check who the seller is and any reviews, make sure its branded with well know brands like San Disk, Samsung or Toshiba.
It seems that 256GB card goes fro around $40-50, here are some I found on amazon US and sold directly from amazon themselves.

Update:
I just keep making mistakes.
....but I'm learning, which is important.
Spoiler:
I made an easy mistake... the switch on the edge of my card reader was on.
That was all I needed to do.
I have a SanDisk 256GB Ultra MicroSDXC UHS-I Memory Card for all my roms (yeah, I went a little mad with storage space, but it has worked for me so far).
I spent a good night, trying to figure out why my card was "write-protected." I was going through my arsenal of formatting and deleting partitions, the whole bit. I even went so far as to use my never-fails formatting tool in Linux (Linux's built-in "Disks" tool works quite well). Even after that, it was still reading as "write-protected" and was preventing any kind of copying to it. I was baffled. Even the "diskpart" tool in Windows Command Prompt was showing properties: "Current Read-only State : Yes" and "Read-Only: No" ...which confused me. I followed this video's instruction, which didn't work...it had still read as "write-protected."
But yeah, the little switch on the edge easily took care of all that. So now it's working.
TL;DR - I spent all night on learning that the switch on the edge made all the difference.

Hello so i will be getting a switch very soon hopefully next week and had some question plus options and recomendation you guys would recommend.
So i saw the help thread here and saw there no really difference just speed of procces for the Micro sd cards. Is that it am i good to just get the off brand not nintendo one? Just want confirmation Also is the 256GB good if i plan on buying the game cards and not doing digital much. Mostly for their updates and dlc it might have. Is that enough or should i go a bit higher? This is the sd card i found on amazon that the thread recommend
Microsd card https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0758NHWS8
Also whats a good Case to keep the switch in. I found this one on amazon and i think is good but im wondering if you guys found something better?
Case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BKVXG78/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_gtPgEbMP7VH8P
And also what accesories do you guys recommend i also try to buy for switch?

4 biggest ones I'd say are SD Card,Screen Protector and a Satisfye grip. 4th being carrying case if you take it with you places.
Depending on if you prefer digital catalogue over physical I'd opt for a 256GB micro SD card or higher. If you plan on physical only and some indie I'd go 128 micro sd card.

I think you'd be looking at the opposite, honestly. Certified by Sony will drive the price up, not down. Look at what happened with Nintendo-branded MicroSD cards for the switch:
Nintendo branded Sandisk 256GB card: $52.99
Unbranded Sandisk 256GB card: $35.99
On top of this, I think PS5 users will be buying a minority of these, not just because they're expensive, but because non-technical people see something like this and assume that it's more complicated to install than it is. I don't think we'll see more than 5%, maybe 10% of total PS5 owners upgrade their SSD storage. The primary target for these will be, as it is today, PC users, and they'll set the price accordingly.
I don't think we'll see a 1TB drive that works in PS5 for under $200 at launch. Might even be $250 if you look at what's out there today (and the fact that none of them even reach Sony's spec requirements yet, despite being $200)

Look for one with good review reputable vendor like Sandisk and the fastest class you can afford.
I think anything that produce over 100MB/s should be fine. I still use a 200GB I forget which class, that I received free as promotion on my V10, I am prob due for a good upgrade but it works perfect for Music and Photos and videos even at 4K.

Here is a good example:

Yeah, pretty much the PS Vita becomes a GREAT console once you hack it, you can even play games from other consoles there by using emulators and they run great.
Another trick is that you can buy a memory adapter in amazon so that you can use a 256GB Micro SD card for it and you can load all the games from it. Just make sure that the Micro SD has an "XC" written on it, those are the fastest cards.

I've been looking into picking up one of these ultra-fast v60 or v90 sd cards myself, and at the moment I can't really justify the price.
I want them to use as seamless backups and boot drives for alternative OS's on my PC.... rather than just buying a big NVME drive.
With the added convenience of being able to use them in my cameras and with my switch.
The 100mb/s read/write models have gone down in pice so much now though the nintendo branded ones are among some of the cheapest medium grade units available. you can buy 64gb 100mb/s read/write drives for $10-30 depending on storage.
For a V90 drive though they seem capped at 64gb or 128gb and cost more than a first born son.
You can get a 256GB top of the line drive in the same class as the old nintendo sd cards for $35. Even the 256GB Nintendo ones aren't that bad at around $50 on amazon..
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QD6R5L7/ref=twister_B07KXNDQN8

When you start venturing into this new tech though prices get different quick. The V30 marked devices seem to be really no different from the last generation of fastest cards, so they are about the same price or sometimes cheaper. Just do diligence to make sure they are up to snuff if you're paying less than the tried and true :)
https://www.amazon.com/Silicon-Power-Superior-microSDXC-MicroSD/dp/B07ZR44J3D/ref=pd_sbs_147_1/140-6885714-2348663
Here's a V90 one .... there are cheaper ones .. though most seem to be capped at 64gb and are charging at least $1/gb.
https://www.amazon.com/ADATA-Premier-Class10-Adapter-AUSDX128GUII3CL10-CA1/dp/B0727ZCVY9/ref=pd_sbs_147_4/140-6885714-2348663
So if my first post inspired you to buy the ultra fast latest and geatest V90 drives .. don't ... at least not until they ramp up production and prices nose-dive. Plus the first batch will probably have issues, etc anyways.

Jumping from El Capitan all the way to Catalina was pretty brave of you! I'd roll back to Mojave if I were you. It sounds like Catalina is not working quite right with your system for some reason.
Back your files up. You can put them on a cheap SD card (256GB for $33) if you don't have a hard drive laying around somewhere to use. You can use Carbon Copy Cloner (free 30-day trial) to do it if you want - it's pretty easy to get around in.
Once you've backed up your computer, download the Mojave installer from the Mac App store and make a bootable USB drive from it (instructions or video). Once you've made the bootable install USB, reboot, hold down the Option key on your keyboard and select the USB drive to boot from (video).
Install Mojave, and when it reboots and enters setup, it'll ask if you want to restore your files from another Mac, a Time Machine backup, or a startup disk. Your Carbon Copy Cloner backup should qualify as a startup disk. Hopefully it can restore your data and things will just work.
If your experience is less than "magical", however, don't worry, you've still got all your data. Wipe the hard drive and reinstall Mojave again, without restoring your data, and then once you're back to a desktop you can copy things over manually from the backup. Dragging-and-dropping things from the Applications folder on the backup to the Applications folder on your Mac should be fine for some things, but apps like Photoshop and such will need to be reinstalled.
You'll want to make sure to copy over your Library folder. It's hidden by default, but you can make it show up in Finder by holding Cmd and Shift, and tapping the period key (Cmd-Shift-.).
Hopefully this gets you pointed in the right direction.

Holes for buttons and joystick: 1 1/8”
Front/back 22” x 4”. ( 2 1 1/8” holes drilled into the backside for the connections.
Sides: 8” x 4”
Bottom: 8.5” x 21.5”
Top: 11” x 24” the top is “straight” and the front has a curve in it that widens the panel to 11 3/4”
10” piano on the front do the lid will flip up to access the electronics
There is enough empty space to install flipper buttons on the side or add buttons to the front.
I’d widen it by 4” if you wanted to put a trackball in. Also double check the depth required, you may have to increase the height to accommodate a trackball.
