It's this one. I'm kind of jealous myself, but I've got a nice enough setup with dual monitors already, and they work just fine, so I can't justify buying a new one for me, especially after dropping all that cash on one for him. His monitor was in bad shape, though. He needed a new one.

You're getting bottlenecked by your Monitor.
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Double-49-Inch-Monitor-LC49RG90SSNXZA/dp/B07L9HCJ2V
I Might use that, unless you value 4k over Hz
D15 comes with Thermal paste.
At the price level you're at I would probably go 3950x over the 9900ks
It seems like you bought a mid-atx mobo and are putting it in a full atx case. Maybe go full atx board of mid atx case?

Almost lol, it deffinetly takes up my whole field of view. It's almost like VR on games that support the resolution.
This is the monitor here, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L9HCJ2V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Samsung 49-Inch CRG9 Curved Gaming Monitor (LC49RG90SSNXZA) – 120Hz Refresh, Ultrawide Screen QLED Computer Monitor, 5120 x 1440p Resolution, 4ms Response, FreeSync 2 with HDR, HDMI https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L9HCJ2V/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_7mFGFbESJCPBM
Honestly if you have $1200 to burn on a monitor this is what I would get. You can split the screen using the monitor settings and various other features.

What? There are tons of HDR monitors at lower prices. Even if we count only HDR1000 you can get them for half of what you said at least. Just an example Amazon.com: SAMSUNG 49-inch Odyssey G9 Gaming Monitor | QHD, 240hz, 1000R Curved, QLED, NVIDIA G-SYNC & FreeSync | LC49G95TSSNXZA Model: Computers & Accessories

Go big and get the 49in Samsung 5120x1440 @120hz. There's actually a 240hz version with 1000r curvature that released this year but it seems to be impossible to get...

Yeah. I'm hoping that these colors hold up and I like them. If they don't I might be able to just live with my dell over it and pick up an ultrawide. I've been looking on amazon for some just for pricing and sizes and I came across this: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Double-49-Inch-Monitor-LC49RG90SSNXZA/dp/B07L9HCJ2V/ and think it's hilarious and so extra lmao. Ahhhh I'm so excited haha.

Oh that is awesome, guess AMD truly has gone down the consumer first route. Which I can get behind, in terms of gaming AMD will slightly lag behind intel though correct? Going based off the benchmarks I have seen not by much though if I am reading most the benchmarks correct?
Is the same true gaming at higher resolutions, I plan on trying to get https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L9HCJ2V?tag=price18694-20&ascsubtag=wtbs_5e8ce15ce3dd7ada0cd31c46 if I can find one.

I am not aware of any 4k 144hz monitors in the 34" size. The closest 4k monitor to that level of performance is the Acer Predator. . It's IPS, 4k, 144hz and at 27".
The closest ultrawide to that performance out on the market currently is probably the LG 34gk950f-b but it's hard to find in stock lately. It's 34", 144hz, IPS, and with freesync. If you want to go SUPER ultrawide, the Samsung CRG9 is 49" @ 1440p, 144hz, and with freesync 2. That's a popular one because of the size. You might also want to check /r/ultrawidemasterrace for recommendations.

For MacBook Pro 16", I suggest go with Samsung CRG9 instead, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L9HCJ2V/ref=psdc_1292115011_t1_B07KMQT7DB , it supports 5K1440 @120hz, ( Dell only goes to 60hz.),
If you want to share just one 5K monitor or two 4K monitor, MacBook Pro with CalDigit TS3+ is the best combination we had been ever tested (we tested more than 10 docking stations with MacBook Pro and MacMini in last 6 months).
And Samsung CRG9 + MacBook Pro 16+ CalDigit TS3 Plus (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L9HCJ2V/ref=psdc_1292115011_t1_B07KMQT7DB ) and DDM DP KVM switch is the best combination we had.

There's at least one that exists from Samsung - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L9HCJ2V
HDR 1000 validated monitor, 5440x1440 super ultrawide.
https://displayhdr.org/certified-products/ - Here's a list of various HDR certified monitors straight from the standard bearer. The HDR 1000 monitor list as you see is extremely limited and that's what would be considered a proper true HDR monitor.

Monitor: Samsung CRG9 - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L9HCJ2V
Arm: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L8PMBKY -- The screen size support isn't as important as the weight. Normally they're referring to a 16:9 screen and are more concerned with height than width so any stand that can hold 30LB ** crazy town ** and can support a 27" 16:9 monitor should be able to support the CRG9
This one says it supports 33lb, but the knuckle (or w/e it's called, the vertical pivot joint) isn't strong enough to hold the monitor, I ended up having to take apart that joint and replace the domed washer with a flat washer and two rubber rings in order to get the monitor to stop drooping. -- Easy fix, just mildly annoying.

What is better for monitor pixel response time, 4ms GTG or 1ms MPRT?
Trying to decide between these two monitors.
