Recently bought the Samsung C27JG56 with 144hz, 1440p and freesync. It has 4ms response time, which can be hindering in some fps games, but for my use it's not a problem. Good monitor for its price. C27JG56

The information you have is for The same monitor. The model of the monitor is a C27JG56 with the full part number of LC27JG5...
Here's Amazon's listing with both pieces of information. You can also find this on Samsung's product page.
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-27-Inch-Curved-Monitor-LC27JG56QQNXZA/dp/B07R82333S
Also, Samsung doesn't current make a 30 in monitor. the next size up is 32in.
I believe that information is just what the resolution you're computer currently configured as. Have you checked the display setting configuration in windows? Windows doesn't always automatically switch to the native resolution.

The MSI should be fine. also look at samsung as they tend to keep the best va panels that they produce (and they currently produce the best VA 1440p 144hz panels) for themselves. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-27-Inch-Curved-Monitor-LC27JG56QQNXZA/dp/B07R82333S/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=samsung+1440p+144hz+monitor&qid=1586556277&sr=8-2
Note: I have this monitor, bought it for $300 on a sale, but I absolutely love it. It's a fantastic monitor. Freesync works flawlessly with nvidia cards on it too by the way.

im pretty sure its the samsung cjg56 monitor. it has a 144hz refresh rate and a high res of 2560x1440. it is equipped with amd free sync to help with screen tearing. I have this same monitor and it works pretty well, i recommend getting a different stand though as this one only has tilting capability.

I bought this a couple months ago after researching this very topic. You compromise for the price certainly, so I suggest you check out some of the reviews. It's my first high-refresh monitor though and the extra fluidity is great. If you a super perceptive of VA motion blur, the display might bother you, but there are some monitor settings that can minimize this slightly.

If I'm buying a monitor with 1440p Res and 144hz refresh, Specifically this monitor:
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-27-Inch-Curved-Monitor-LC27JG56QQNXZA/dp/B07R82333S/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=samsung+gaming+monitor&qid=1589988502&sr=8-8
Should I buy it in 27 or 32 inch? It's curved if that makes a difference.

I have this monitor. Sure, it's definitely not the best 1440p / 144hz monitor, but it's a stunner for the price. Absolutely no regrets with purchasing it.

I have two, bought them for 280$ each, I think the price inflated, they aren't bad, they aren't IPS, they are VA panels. I definitely see the 144hz difference from 60hz, and they are greater in quality than 1080p, I think you can find better ones though if the price is inflated

Take a look at the Samsung CJG56. 27", 144Hz, VA, 1440p, all within budget.

Any alternatives would be welcome thank you! Preferably similar specs, 27 inch 1440 Curved screen, 144HZ. Preferably around 300. Thank you!

This shot in 1080 wouldnt be as good, true. And 1440p isnt that hard to run despite how much better it looks than 1080p im getting 65-85fps with a GTX 1070 on a mix of 70/30 ultra and high settings. But id say if you have the space for it, keep your 1080p monitor when you get that new one. 2 monitors a lot better than 1. I can also recommend mine, its this one: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-27-Inch-Curved-Monitor-LC27JG56QQNXZA/dp/B07R82333S/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=samsung+1440p+144hz+monitor&qid=1585222926&sprefix=Samsung+144&sr=8-3 . There doesnt seem to be a price on that page but i paid mind 250eur.

I bought 3 of these for $300ea a few months back. Almost every monitor is now widescreen. If you're looking for ultrawide, stay away from LG. I couldn't figure out how to mount it, and the DP and HDMI connections are fucking perpendicular to the monitor itself and right where the VESA plate is.

Edit, the resolution for the Samsungs are much nicer.

Why is this samsung monitor so cheap?
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-27-Inch-Curved-Monitor-LC27JG56QQNXZA/dp/B07R82333S/
Its price is comparable to the off-brand chinese monitors with the same specs... From samsung I would expect this to be $400 or more. Is there something that makes this not as good?
I mean, damn, the 1080p variant of the same thing is $130 more

Between these two monitors, which one would be better? Both are 1440p,144 Hz.
The Samsung monitor is curved, and is VA, and isn't 1 ms response time but is pretty close.
Acer's has 1 ms response time, but is TN and not curved. So,which one should I go for? I'm not really gonna be doing hyper competitive gameplay so 1 ms isn't really a requirement.

Should I keep my Samsung 1440p 144hz va monitor or switch to ips?
Should I keep my samsung va 1440p 144hz monitor or switch over to ips?
okay, so im torn because i can sell my samsung va 144hz 1440p monitor for 250 and then buy this montior for 300: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-VG271UP-FreeSync-2560x1440-Widescreen/dp/B07NFK9XST/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=1440p+144hz+ips&qid=1589052110&sr=8-1
But the issue is is that I watch movies on my samsung panel. But I code on my va screen and the text is blurry and bothers me. But everything else is good. The deep blacks are good and I love the colors.
Ghosting and smearing i dont really notice that much...
Is ips glow that bad? Could i watch movies on this thing and the picture would look just as good as the VA? Im just worried about low light watching is the issue. I watch movies and tv shows a lot on my va panel, especially at night.
Here is the current samsung monitor i have : https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-27-Inch-Curved-Monitor-LC27JG56QQNXZA/dp/B07R82333S/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=1440p+144hz+samsung&qid=1589052188&sr=8-1

Yeah, I hate the very low fan curve where it just doesn't turn on until it gets hotter.
I customized and saved a profile because I got tired of changing it (when it wouldn't save).
Turns out, I read AMD's latest patch notes and it said they fixed that issue of it reverting back (which is good).
I also have a Sapphire Nitro+ (and with the exception of it refusing to see my 2nd and 3rd monitors until I load TRIXX Boost and click Apply), It's been a pretty good upgrade over my Rx 480.
I will say, you mentioning a 144hz monitor reminds me I still need to get one.
I currently have this Samsung 24" curved 1080p 60Hz monitor, but I'm looking to get a 144Hz.
I had replaced the 3rd monitor I had (it was dying) and that one was a Phillips 75Hz and I noticed when using that to play some games, I didn't see as much stuttering on that one as I did on my Samsung one I got like 3 to 4 years ago (I think sometime late 2016).
Personally, I've been looking at this (Samsung 27" 1440p 144Hz monitor)[https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R82333S/] (I prefer Samsung on monitors or TV's).
My question to you, did games seem a little smoother (less stuttering) when you switched from a 60Hz to a 144Hz monitor?
I've heard people saying going from 60Hz to 144Hz can feel like night and day (depends on who you ask) and I'm just curious about other people's opinions on this.

Here are 3 option you can consider:
24inch 1080p 144hz 1ms IPS by MSI - $190: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083K17XLH?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1

27inch 1440p 144hz 4ms VA by Samsung - $280: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R82333S?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1

What kind of Design work? Video, Photo, 3D, etc???
Simple answer: For comp games, more FPS = better so the 144hz. For singleplayer/casual I'd prolly say 1440p, BUT that's only if you get the constant 60FPS. But, I think you need to keep looking...

So on, and so forth...It doesn't matter if ur GPU can't get 144 FPS, as long as you're over 60 you're doing good for your current explanation. But again, I'd need to know more about your Design work, as it could suffer depending on your choice.

You can save 20 bucks by going with a Ryzen 5 3600X instead of the 3600. Better performance out of the box, and the better included Wraith Prism cooler means you wouldn't need to buy the Gamma cooler. Better performance and $20 savings. https://www.amazon.com/AMD-Ryzen-3600X-12-Thread-Processor/dp/B07SQBFN2D/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=ryzen+5+3600x&qid=1583655320&sr=8-1
Save another $45 by going with a B450 Tomahawk Max over the X570 board, 3000 series compatible out of the box. Based on your parts list it doesn't look like you need PCIe 4.0 which is about the only difference the X570 offers. The Tomahawk can also handle a 3950X if you decide to upgrade a little later down the road. If you're sold on the TUF gaming board, you can save $30 by going with the TUF X470 Gaming Plus which is, as the name implies, the X470 version of the board you've picked. AMD will send you a loaner CPU to update the BIOS on this one for free.

You can save $8 and get more storage by going with a 500gb NVME and a 2 TB HDD instead of what you've got picked out. OTOH, I do think the prices you have listed for storage are pretty damn good even though they're backwards of what most people usually do.

Get the Viewsonic XG 2402. It's the best Panel for FPS, and response time. It's on sale for $215. You can you tube it as well to see how others ranked it. PRO's use it. It goes up to 160hz.
It also doesn't remove 1ms when enabling free-sync, and other features like a lot of other monitors do. PRO's use it as well. 240hz is great, but you'll get a lower response time. The tech hasn't caught all the way up yet.

The Viewsonic might not have the top tier picture, but it looks damn good, and when your playing shooters you need the best response time.

https://www.amazon.com/ViewSonic-XG2402-FreeSync-Advanced-Ergonomics/dp/B075D1B4SV

With that all being said If just mainly for fun get a 1440p monitor or higher. You'll enjoy the picture more. This Samsung 27 inch curved 1440 p is a great monitor. I use it when editing.

Please note you have to choose 27 inch. It loads up as 32 inch.

It's foolish to spend 100USD on RGB fans when you could get a better motherboard like the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max with out of the updated BIOS for Ryzen 3rd gen support
I would suggest these 2×140mm fans for front intake in the NZXT H510 with 2×120mm fans included for rear and top exhaust.

Samsung 2k 144Hz VA Freesync 4ms
