- ULTRA HD DISCREET DESIGN DASH CAM: Top OV4689 image sensor captures beautiful 2160p video even while driving fast. Signature low-profile design allows the V1 to be a well-hidden witness to the road ahead. Supports high-endurance micro SD memory cards up to 256GB in memory size.
- 170 DEGREE ULTRA WIDE ANGLE LENS & WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE: The 7 layer glass lens opens up to capture a sweeping view of your surroundings. The superior WDR technology allows the camera to perform optimally in any lighting situation by adjusting the exposure to create balanced images and footage.
- SUPERCAPACITOR & PARKING MONITOR: The dash cam uses a supercapacitor which can withstand extreme temperatures from -20 to 176°F, that prevents the risk of overheating, extends the life span and reliability of the camera. With the parking monitor feature, the dash camera will automatically turn on and record a 20 second video when the car camera detects vibration OR select to record 24/7 by capturing frames to make a 24/7 time lapse video. Need smart hardwire kit to activate the parking mode.
- WIFI CONNECT: View, save, and share dash cam recordings wirelessly on your mobile device with the use of an app interface.
- LOOP RECORDING AND G-SENSOR: Video can be recorded in 1,2 or 3 minute intervals. When the storage limit is reached on the memory card, new recordings will automatically overwrite the oldest recordings. When the built-in gravity sensor detects a collision, the current video is locked, ensuring important footage is kept protected. Locked videos will be kept safe from being overwritten.

Sure. I personally have the older version of this Rexing dashcam. Mine has 1080p quality so its pretty clear and setting it up is easy enough as well.
Id suggest you get a big enough SD card so like 16gb or 32gb and also set the settings to record over video once it fills up. Getting everything onto your computer should be easy enough by taking out the SD card. Let me know if you have any other questions. Im sure there are other good companies too, I just chose Rexing after googling around and reading reviews.

That's awesome! I have both security and dash cams too and they are amazing tools when you need them. Everyone always tells me how they are too expensive or too much effort, but the moment something happens in our neighborhood everyone asks me to check my cameras and if i can see 1 mile down the road and read license plates and enhance faces.

Edit: I have recently had to pull vids for a murder case down the road and some kids took yard signs and placed at someone else's house. Fortunately, I noticed my neighbor's sign missing (she's a nurse) and went back and checked and my cameras caught everything, which allowed us to find out who stole them very quickly.
I have an 8 camera setup; they are 15fps with some on the front are regular 1080 and the others 720 with a 1tb DVR all hardwired in. I have one camera on each side of the house so i can see if anyone comes to the gates for the fenced in back yard, one on the driveway, one on the front porch looking at the door, one up high looking back down across my yard and down the street a bit, two in the backyard on each end of the house facing the middle of the yard, and one in the garage so I can see if anyone breaks into the back door to the garage, everything in my garage, and especially if i just forget to shut my garage door. i can view all cameras from my phone and save off videos to a usb (I wish i could to an external hard drive, but that is not a current option with the DVR I have).
I spent about $3500 on the 8 security cameras, install, and DVR from a local dealer with lifetime tech service and support.

Also, it's a little more comforting to have these if you have kids at home that want to play outside while you are busy inside working on stuff. I can just keep an eye on them playing with my phone or computer! It's pretty awesome!

I got the Rexing V1 it has a great range of view, really good video play back and is crystal clear for day time and even night time recording. I'd suggest mounting it a little closer to your rear view mirror in the middle so you can easily see both the left and right bumper of the car. I mounted mine like it says in the instructions and the placement was a little off (due to the size of my rear view mirror mount).

Dash cam powered by a capacitor. I've had no issues with this one.

I'm using the Rexing V1-4k but set to 1080p/60fps. I'm very happy with it as it just works. Great quality at night and doesn't have random SD card errors all the time like my last cam. Only issues is there is no rear cam support and clicking save only saves the current clip, not the one before, so if you're in the first 5 seconds of a clip you might miss whatever you're trying to save.

Dashcam - I've had a Rexing V1 for 2.5 years now in Las Vegas with front and rear cameras. I recommend it however, in peak Summer, I have to restart it a few times often because of the heat. It's rated for high-temps, but we're talking LV where it can easily get to 140-150F inside of a vehicle. Their new model is 4K and you can use a phone app with it, which is way easier than pulling the SD card for video. This new model says it's rated for 176F.

Rexing V1. Been real happy with it.

That's a great model, mine is very similar. I go with the Rexing brand because it has wi-fi connect to a app so I can access videos instantly for viewing.

It was a bday gift from my wife.
I love having it just to cover yourself in case of an accident or picking up stuff like this

I've had this dashcam since April and fortunately haven't been in an accident, but it's great for capturing some of the truly befuddling choices that people can make behind the wheel.
If I were to go the montage route, I'd probably have to mute the footage to omit all of my loud "what the hell are you doing?" comments.

Be wary of mirror cams. Anything that tries to be both a mirror and a screen isn't going to be very good at either. Plus, the added weight on the mirror can cause it to shift around more. I use this one in my car, it's about the same price, and it's been very reliable for me.

It looks like the $58 deal is already over, but they have a $35 coupon, so it is $65.

I don't remember the brand specifically, but this is the style I've used on 3 different cars now and have never experienced shakiness.

I went with a Rexing. No problems thus far, I've had it almost 2 years. /r/dashcam is all about the A119, though.

Dashcams are a lifesaver. The Rexing is what I use, and it hides nicely behind the rear-view mirror. Run the power cable up over the sun-screen, down the rubber seal along the side, and through the glovebox to your power outlet. If you want a back-facing one too, I use the Blue Sky for my rear window since there's another outlet available back there too. :)

Based on the fact you posted this in the Cyberpunk sub, I'm gonna guess you are looking to make the interior of your car look as Cyber as possible. My suggestions would be screens and lights. For the lights just use Amazon and look up Automotive Neon Accent Light Kits.
More screens equals more cyberpunk to me. For the purpose of this, the easiest and first one if you don't already have it is a permanent place for your phone to slot into. Something like the WeatherTech Cup Phone or the iOttie iTap Magnetic would be good, although there are plenty of others out there. Secondly, if your built-in sound system for the car doesn't have a screen already, get one. There are tons of options, depending on how much space is on your dash for one you can either get a permanently visible screen or one that flips out like so which I think is way more cyberpunk looking. Finally, I would grab a dashcam that has a built-in screen. This will not only make your car look more cyberpunk, but it might also help one day in case of an accident. This is the one I have and I like it well enough.
Best of luck!

After Months of Analysis Paralysis, I've Narrowed it Down to Four Choices
In no particular order of preference, I'm looking at:
Cobra 2208: https://www.cobra.com/collections/dash-cam/products/dash-2208
Garmin Mini: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/garmin-mini-dash-cam/6351243.p
Rexing V14K: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00X528FNE/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1
Viofo A119 V3: https://www.viofo.com/en/home/143-119-a119-v3-25601600p-30fps-car-dash-cam.html#/25-gps_module-included
What should I get? There are just too many options, and I've narrowed it down to these four for me. Help me make a purchase so I don't put this off for weeks on end. Thank you, dashcam enthusiasts!
