What's your budget? This one is about 50 dollars more and have 144Hz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CNDK2XG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_CPFoFb09BZRST

Check out that brand, it seems to have good bang for the buck.

I currently have it pre-ordered through B&H. I am having a bit of trouble deciding between it and this Pixio monitor: https://www.amazon.com/Pixio-Professional-FreeSync-Certified-Compatible/dp/B07CNDK2XG?pd_rd_w=bK3LF&pf_rd_p=3fdb7f7b-31a2-4f37-b9bc-1469e3d4fb18&pf_rd_r=87QTNNWK6TE0ATF7KV2G&pd_rd_r=c140b125-9b87-4526-9d24-4e55b78ab5de&pd_rd_wg=eK4MG

The Pixio is $100 less, but does not come with height adjustable stand and a bit larger of response time (reviews say about 7ms) and is flat vs gigabyte curved. It has the same panel as the LG 32GK850G-B which has great reviews...

Any thoughts on the two?

It might be just out of your price range but last year I bought this 32inch 165hz 1440p Pixio Monitor and while it doesn't really capitalize on 4K its a good monitor for the price.

There was this one pixio monitor that had what you wanted and went for 250. I can’t find it anymore srry. For the gigabyte monitor j check reviews and warranty policies

Edit: this is the one it was on sale Pixio PX329 32 inch 165Hz WQHD 2560 x 1440 Wide Screen Display Professional 1440p 144Hz 32-inch FreeSync Gaming Monitor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CNDK2XG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_xN5JFb35P97KH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

650 watt should be fine. Just make sure you get a quality one.

These Pixio monitors offer great features for the price.

I don’t have that particular monitor but I do have the https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07CNDK2XG?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title and it works with 1440p 120hz just fine. I’d

I bought three of these for my triple monitor setup:

Pixio PX329 32 inch 165Hz WQHD 2560 x 1440 Wide Screen Display Professional 1440p 144Hz 32-inch AMD Radeon FreeSync Certified Gaming Monitor, 2 Years Warranty, Compatible with Xbox One X 120Hz and PS4 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CNDK2XG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WgmIEb5936SMF

After hundreds of hours of research it seemed, I settled on these. I almost went with three BenQ EX3203r curved monitors, but paying $250 more for a monitor that isn’t VESA ready was a huge red flag.

The pixio not only is VESA ready, they also include the VESA mount AND give you a display port cable in each box. Just couldn’t beat the price of $299 for a 32” 1440p 144hz monitor. I also think the flat monitors look great and just as good when in triple setups compared to curved. Some think it looks better because there’s no warping effects on the corners while driving. I think aesthetically the curved looks cooler though haha. But I’m happy with these flats man. Just waiting for them to come in.

Is upgrading to 1440p from 1080p worth it? And if so, what's the best screen size to get?

Hey guys.

I'm looking for the best value 2560x1440 monitor to upgrade to from my 1920x1080 one. It's also 144hz and I want something close to that for my new monitor as the new one will replace this one and this one will be converted into a secondary monitor for media.

I've seen several different options between 27-32 inches in size. I assume 27 inch is probably the sweet spot for it as most 1440p monitors seem to hover around that size. The only issue is that I actually found a monitor with good reviews that is 32 inches and 1440p at 165hz for LESS than most 27 inch models. Doesn't really make much sense to me but here it is:

https://www.amazon.com/Pixio-Professional-FreeSync-Certified-Compatible/dp/B07CNDK2XG/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=32+inch+2560x1440+165hz&qid=1592189223&sr=8-1

Option 2: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ27G1-DisplayPort-adjustable-Zero-Bright/dp/B07V39QHMY/ref=sr_1_2?crid=U6IF12DP2NNY&dchild=1&keywords=27+inch+1440p+144hz+monitor&qid=1592189545&sprefix=27+inch+1440p+144hz%2Caps%2C208&sr=8-2

I am seriously considering getting it. My only issue is, my biggest monitor right now is about 24 inches. I'm wondering, will a 32 inch monitor actually HURT my performance while gaming (Performance meaning my ability to win games, not actual performance like frame rates and so on) as it's such a large screen that it would possibly be more difficult to transverse it during games? Has anyone experienced that?

Also, is 32 inches too big for 1440p to actually give me a decent improvement over 1080p at 24 inches? Will the pixels be stretched too far?

I'm just wondering what your guys' opinions are of this monitor and if I should get it or if there is some obvious reason to stay away from it that I am not seeing because it seems like a really good deal at the price point. Also, if it's even worth the upgrade.

Thank you!

One last thing.. I noticed it says FreeSync. Is that something I can take advantage of with a 1080ti or is it mostly for AMD GPUs?

It looks very similar to the Pixio PX329, Hardware Unboxed liked that at $450 back in 2018, it's available at $299.99 today.

I just got the Pixio PX329. 32 inch 1440p 144hz Freesync monitor. Had great reviews and it works great. Just use displayport and not HDMI. Color banding is rough with HDMI.

What’s the catch with this monitor?

It’s a Pixio PX329, 32in, 165Hz, 1440p.

Is the catch that it has a VA panel? Still seems pretty good for $300, no?

Also, why is this one $100 more expensive? Is it because of the stand?

Hi, I think that it is going to very hard to match all of the heights; 1 32" monitor + 2 24" monitors on the side vertically still won't line up well, so I think it will be hard to find the right dimensions. You could use a PIXIO PX329 in the center, then two ViewSonic VA2456 monitors.

I've been looking into the Pixio PX329 but it's in prerorder from the main site and they're the sole seller on Amazon.

From some of the reviews it seems to be an awesome monitor as it's the only larger-format one at the lower-end price-range that is completely flat and not the crazy curved wide-angle ones that have come out lately.

Both are on Amazon with similar prices and specs. The Viotek GNV32DB seems to be a newer model as I can't find any reviews on them. What would you guys recommend?

I figured I’d share the monitors that I am looking at as well.

Hey there, so as my final parts for my build come in, I am looking around for a new monitor. Never had a fancy monitor or anything and I am getting a bit lost and overloaded with information while trying to learn. Ips vs tn vs va? I think fps = hz or the refresh rate of the monitor? Free sync/gsync/etc helps if your fps doesn't match the monitors hz?

I am currently looking at the following through video recommendations (and ones that can ship to me):

My build will include a 3700x and a used 1070 I snagged from a friend (maybe I'll upgrade one day). Thinking of 1440p for a nice little future proof. 27" sounds like a good size but maybe can grab the 32" if its a good choice? Any help or feedback is much appreciated.

Viotek GNV32DB vs Pixio PX329 Cheap 32" 1440p 144Hz Monitor Battle

I am currently in the market for a 32" monitor for gaming and work. I'm on a pretty small budget for this type of monitor, and I'm stuck between these two.

Viotek GNV32DB: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZJV2MQV/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A1BVYXEL822RF0&th=1

Pixio PX329: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CNDK2XG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A1ZAP482IIETZ&psc=1

Personally, I've been aware of Viotek for quite some time now but I've only seen Pixio once in a Youtuber's video, so I'm not sure if they are reliable.

The Viotek is a curved monitor at 144Hz and the Pixio has a flat panel that supports 165Hz (probably downscaled due to latency), but that's the only difference that I can see between the two. Otherwise they have the same resolution of 1440p, VA panels, same warranty period of 3 years, both have Freesync (and G-sync) support, DP and HDMI, and VESA support for a mount that I am buying. The only things that are not stated are latency, brightness, and color accuracy for the Pixio.

As for specifics of the Viotek, here they are:
Curvature: 1500R| Response Time: 6ms (GTG) / 4ms (OD) |Viewing Angle: H178° / V178° | Displayable Colors: 16.7M | Color Gamut – sRGB: 107%, – NTSC: 85% | Contrast Ratio: 3000:1 | Dynamic Contrast Ratio: 1M:1 | Brightness: 250cd/m2

As for flat vs curved panels, I've never really owned a curved monitor so I don't know what to expect. I've heard about warping on larger monitors so the Viotek could have the win in this department.

Please let me know which one you would all recommend, thank you for your help!

Asus VP28UQG 28" 4K Monitor $259.99

AOC U2790VQ 27" 4K Monitor $269.99

There is a 1" difference but they're pretty much the same in terms of viewing area because the AOC has much smaller bezels. The Asus has the better response time though with the 1ms vs the 5ms of the AOC but it's not insanely noticeable when playing games since they're both just 60 Hz monitors.

If you play mostly competitive games then shoot for one of these...

AOC CQ27G1 27" 1440p 144 Hz Monitor $243.64

Acer XV272U 27" 1440p 144 Hz Monitor $299.99

Pixio PX329 31.5" 1440p 165 Hz Monitor $299.99
