Why doesn't anyone look at this monitor from Pixio https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08462DXV2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_bYkcFbGKZNGJ1? It has the same screen as the popular AOC 24G2 just a worse stand.

Newly released 144hz IPS 24in monitor for only $169
Cheapest monitor I ever saw. Especially with 144hz and IPS

Not exactly the same but I just requested a cancellation on my order for this Sceptre monitor because I just found this IPS for 10 bucks more: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08462DXV2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
144hz instead of 165hz but I think the better panel is worth it.

Just posted on buildapcsales this is a great gaming monitor AND its ips which has better black levels than tn, but it may also have a 5ms response instead of 1 or 2, which you seriously will never notice. I know it says 1ms, but sometimes ips monitors ghost at 1ms even if advertised not to, but there is an option in the monitor menu to slow down the response time

Oops sorry. Lol heres the link. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08462DXV2/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_uhTREbX0EVKDH

Also check this monitor out. Same price, 144hz, 1ms response time, and an IPS display

I'm starting to see them advertised as such.

Might not be quite as nice but according to Hardware Unboxed the Pixio PX247 has the same panel as the AOC

Pixio PX247 is around $170 on Amazon right now, probably cheapest new you're gonna get.

Ayy thanks man. I actually didn't notice that OP needed a monitor on my first read, a 1080p 75hz is a good place to start for sure but I personally would spend the extra 40-50 dollars on a 144hz if you're going to be playing games like PUBG & Fortnite, the competitive difference between 75hz and 144hz is pretty huge. Something like this Pixio model for example, it's relatively inexpensive compared to the competition and well respected by hardware reviewers. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08462DXV2/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_83HMEbSQYDSAH

Why is this monitor worth reposting on the daily? Isn't the PX247 the same panel, which you can order right now? Perhaps I'm underestimating the amount of people using VESA stands...

The one you linked is in stock, but, anyway, What about this one? 1080p, 144hz, IPS, and FreeSync for 170.
2 points • ireojimayo
Use a local marketplace site and see if you can get something used, people might be moving to 1440 so they're mostly going to be in perfect working condition.
150 is pretty low you'll be pretty much stuck with a tn
Otherwise find some more money and get this
https://www.amazon.com/Pixio-PX247-Certified-1920x1080-Compatible/dp/B08462DXV2?ref_=d6k_applink_bb_marketplace
It has become popular because it's so cheap, and because of that has quite a number of reviews that are mostly positive

I bought a pixio px247 it is a 144hz ips flat screen. It has been very solid for me i got for $169 with a $10 clip on about a month and half ago on Amazon. It is actually $169 now on back order. https://www.amazon.com/Pixio-PX247-Certified-1920x1080-Compatible/dp/B08462DXV2/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1ZLLGA9IKYIL6&dchild=1&keywords=pixio+px247&qid=1586974731&sprefix=pixio+%2Caps%2C173&sr=8-1

My budget is around 850$. No microcenter store unfortunately. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08462DXV2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This is my monitor.

I put this in cart and it says Aug 13 delivery. Damn.
If you can't wait, for 10 bucks more you can get the pixio with similar specs. with 350nits of brightness vs 250 in the Asus.
1 points • Cruzikon
wow just sold! this was my second choice. Its pretty much the same no?
1 points • dballs442
As well as the Pixio px247 I believe and that one is still $169.99 on amazon
2 points • gtfomahcookiez
>Asus VP249QGR
That monitor, the AOC
all apparently share the same IPS panel from the same company: Panda. From what i gather its all based on warranty/stand/OSD difference.
1 points • lamg4
For $10 more you get an IPS panel. The stand sucks but it's VESA compatible. There's also this one from Pixio which was reviewed here by Hardware Unboxed.

I'd say the $10 extra is worth it but more money your choice.

keep in mind that you will have to upgrade your cpu in 3-4 years, probably before anything else. Also don’t get that f***ing razer keyboard. There are plenty of better TKL, 60%, 65% or even 75% keyboards for $40-$80. If you want RGB and a highly decent keyboard with gateron switches, look up the Womier k66, and a website called Banggood should pop up 1st thing. ($55 for another day, then its ~$60) Its a trustable website. If you want a hotswappable (meaning you can swap the key caps in and out with other compatible key caps) version, go to (~$65 i believe)
https://kprepublic.com/a/amp/products/womier-66-key-full-rgb-custom-mechanical-keyboard-kit
I know its chinese, but its good, and you should trust me. Theres also this company called Keychron, and they have like 4-5 different models. K2, K4, K6, and K8 i believe, with the K8 about to release soon. The K6 is 65%, you can switch between mac and windows, comes with keycaps for mac and windows, comes with a keycap remover, it can be wired or wireless or bluetooth, but the price can range between $69-$99 depending on what switches u want to get, if u want RGB backlight aluminum frame, etc.

I say spend a little more on your monitor, and even try to increase your budget however possible. You don’t want to get a s***y monitor because you’re gonna be staring at it the whole time you use it, and “the most used” part if you know what i mean. Don’t cheap out on that, I suggest this monitor.
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/benq-xl-series-xl2411p-24-led-fhd-monitor-black/6212566.p?acampID=0&cmp=RMX&intl=nosplash&loc=PCPartPicker&ref=198&refdomain=pcpartpicker.com&skuId=6212566
If you cannot go that expensive for a monitor, then here is a list.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/z28Wp8
Im aware there is no keyboard, but there are cheaper 144hz monitors on amazon like this:

If you manage to get a little more money and get one of these cheaper monitors, you can get one of the keyboards that I recommended you, or any keyboard of your choice.
(Oh sh*t forgot about the headset... damn that sucks LMFAO umm honesty idk much about headset’s other than that hyperx’s headsets are good, good luck on that brother, im pretty sure you’ll find an answer in these 80 other comments.)

I would pick up an Acer.
Here's a good one on Amazon:
It's a TN panel so fast response times, 144hz, 1080p is just fine for 24 inches and a good price.
If you want an IPS, here's a pretty cheap one from Pixio
if you are cool with refurbished and want to potentially snag a good deal on a higher end monitor: Acer has their own factory refurbished website and the deals are great.
