What are your thoughts on the Pixio Px277 Prime? It's a price range where I could feel comfortable getting 2 of them and it seems that it's a model they've continued to make improvements on with each iteration.

Also the added benefit of not being out of stock until early October as the LG monitors appear to be.

My impression of Pixio to this point is that their panels are really nice, but QA can sometimes be shoddy. So if you're unlucky you might end up having to do what can be a painful RMA process.

Budget: Around $300

Country: USA

Screen size: 27"

Screen resolution: 1440p 144hz

Touch screen: No

Weight: Doesn't matter

I was looking at the Pixio PX277 Prime and VIOTEK GFV27DAB Is there a clear cut winner between these two?

I recommend these builds as well, preferably the one you build yourself that saves you 300 dollars. Buying a 2080 super for the same price as a 3080 is the definition of punching yourself in the nuts.

You could also go cheaper on the 1440p monitor, the ones I list below have had good reviews. This LG monitor is notable for its response times though. As for the monitor the OP had in his Cyberpower build, I wouldn't recommend 1080p at 27 inches, I find that to be too blurry, with ppi down to 82. Either 1440p at 27 inches, or 1080p at 24 inches.

If you want the monitor to be 1440p 120hz w/ VRR/Freesync on the Series X, follow this thread or that .

Personally, I went with the Pixio PX277 Prime. It's confirmed 1440p 120hz w/ Freesync on the series X. Arriving tomorrow, so I haven't got a chance to play with it yet but heard good things. Gonna use this until 4k 120hz gets cheaper. Didn't want to break the bank yet on a monitor. Will reply to this post with an update after I receive it.

Hello looking to buy a monitor now for when i build my new pc I'm trying to decide between these 3 can anyone give me advice which one to pick and what the differences between them are I don't know much about monitors https://www.amazon.com/LG-27GL83A-B-Ultragear-Compatible-Monitor/dp/B07YGZL8XF

https://www.amazon.com/Pixio-Display-FreeSync-Esports-Monitor/dp/B08FXZVJH6

https://www.amazon.com/ViewSonic-VX2758-2KP-MHD-Frameless-FreeSync-DisplayPort/dp/B07VJJXDBX

These are the 3 I'm looking at I will be using this with a 3070 once i can buy one when they get in stock again. I just want to know which one of these you guys would recommend. also should I wait for black friday/cybermonday? if they will get like instantly sold out the second they go on sale I don't know if I would want to do that then. and even if there is a sale I'm assuming it will not go much lower so i'll probably just buy it now just start getting my parts.

I'm leaning towards the viewsonic because it's the cheapest and I don't see any negatives not to if there is any let me know. looking at rtings it seems that the lg has the best response time but I don't know how much that would matter in actual use and don't really understand why it's response time is better when all of them are 1ms and 144hz+ is there any effective difference?

As mentioned my wife just got the Pixio but Dell is also well regarded and reviewed if more expensive. LG Also has a monitor that is in the same category, but it's even more expensive and I think reviewers say it is about the same as the Dell.
