Holy shit. Think I could put a vertical GPU mount in this thing? I've always wanted a mini itx case with a vertical GPU. Maybe this one?

The best I have seen is the Phanteks GPU mount , because it pulls the gpu further from the window panel for better airflow and much cleaner look. Some users have said they have to remove parts of the rear case brackets to fit.

Almost all cases that have vertical mounts will restrict airflow.

Something like this would be a great option if you want to mount your GPU vertically.

I'm using this one here, it's super sturdy.

It's the Phanteks riser. I may get the Lian-Li 3-slot riser if the 3090 requires it.

There's also the Phanteks Vertical GPU Mount, but that's dependent on if the PCI-E area is completely open once you remove the PCI-E brackets. If not, you'll have to mod the case.

So it does not come with a vertical GPU mount by default. Lian Li does make a vertical mount, but it has mixed reviews and is pricey.

If you have an o11 Dynamic (regular or XL) case, I’d highly suggest this one made by Phanteks: Phanteks Vertical GPU Mount. It comes with a X16 riser cable and was a very install and had no sag, at least with my card. I also notice no difference in GPU performance while gaming, same frame rates as before when it was horizontally installed.

The case vertical mount is not good for temps! The universal one is way better. I like to keep everything the same so that’s why I went with 120s all around!

You can buy vertical mounts for your gpu, it has an extension pcie cable with it

Yup! I used the Phanteks Vertical GPU mount. It sits flush on top of the Corsair LL120 fans so it may have looked that way lol

I hate to be that guy, but if you're really wanting to make it work I'd install a PCI riser in there.

GPU stands vertical if the case allows it. Then you use a PCI-e ribbon cable to connect it to the mobo. Because it’s vertical, you won’t notice the ribbon.

A bracket like this, or just the ribbon cable part will do.

Unless its a plastic front version I would mount the fans on the outside and radiator inside and you should be able to pull it off with it mounted to the bottom fan if you can remover the HDD cage. Admittedly it would likely be tight but I would try that first. Just my two cents. A universal vertical mount would make it easier. Just options

You would have to remove that bottom fan but you could mount your card vertically. I am using a Phanteks PH-VGPUKT_02 – Universal Vertical GPU Bracket to vertically mount my 5800XT. The bracket comes with the PCIe extension cable. The only thing is that you have to set the PCIe slot to x3 instead of x4 because the cable is not x4 (they don't make them yet). I discovered this through trial and error and the advice of a few friends

There's a few manufacturers that make kits, but this one seems to be the most widely used universal one. I was thinking of getting something like this, and mounting it to the bottom, hopefully with a radiator under it. I might need some standoffs so that I could fit a displayport cable. Phanteks said that the case will be back in stock in November, so hopefully by then ill also have a 2080 and the waterblock. I'm really hoping things fit, but if not I guess I'll put it on the back

Yes u can as that case has 1 dedicated part for vertical so u would just need to get something like this will allow u to put a second vertical one in.

Used the phanteks mount, reasonably priced and the gpu cable that comes with it is great. Havent seen any fps issues with it mounted like this.

Phanteks mount. With some motherboards you will need to switch from auto to pcie3 in the bios but it has no effect on performance.

u/Glosed1 sorry for my slow response. Its this Phanteks riser. Right now there's about an inch below the bracket, but I can still move the card up another inch or so... so if I move the card all the way up, there should be enough room for a 360 Slim radiator with a fan, i would think. If not, it would be real close.
