Ye, I mentioned in another one of my comments that the price Quebecois would have to pay more, feels rough. Though may I suggest to you trying to reach the checkout of the amazon.com pre-order page? Not sure if provincial taxes apply to amazon.com, I'm guessing they wouldn't since it's a foreign market place, but my end total on it is $451.37 CAD. $9 savings really isn't much at all, but considering that there's still a month until it releases, maybe those savings could be more depending on how the currency exchange rate fluctuates (e.g. about 2 weeks ago it would've been closer to $20 savings). Maybe even then it's still not worth it, but hey, it's a thing.

dependendo da loja é literalmente só comprar, a Amazon por exemplo já incluem uma taxa maior que o imposto brasileiro e devolvem o resto caso não gastem tudo.

With all due respect, the Quest 2, is selling for $299, you can buy a brand new HMD that's a generation newer for at least $40 more. Link

I'm using the 64gb oculus quest 2. You don't need the more expensive 128gb one because it's not storing anything on the quest. You need the Oculus link cable which can be a pricy cable but I got a third party one which works 100% exactly like the Oculus one but for less than half the price. My laptop is an Acer Nitro 5 with an RTX 2060, 9th gen i7, and 32gb of ram but I feel like you could go down on the processor and ram.

Of course you need the VR version of the game which, if you got it on steam, then I believe you have it.

That is literally it. I don't even use a flight stick. I've played on Xbox for so long that I just use a Bluetooth xbox controller and the default context key mapping which makes it work exactly the same way.

Well, if you strictly want it for watching videos (not advisable), there is many headsets that offer a way to put your phone in (https://www.amazon.com/educational-Augmented-adjustable-distance-Available-Windows/dp/B08342L3JP), however, you will be limited to your phone's processing power. If you want an actual headset, I would suggest the oculus quest 2, a standalone headset available for $299 (https://www.amazon.com/Oculus-Quest-Advanced-All-One-2/dp/B08F7PTF53), it's however currently out of stock.

The 256gb one still seems to be guaranteed at least in my area.
