The colors that came with your light are meant to color your light, but is different than the color temperature of your light. For instance, THIS LIGHT SET has these filters to add to it in order to color the light (often called gels). The white one is just to soften the light. So don't use a color gel on primary light on your face. If your lights are daylight/5600K colored, then just use the diffuser, and build around that look. If you don't, it'll make the LUT a nightmare to use and really complicate things...
UNLESS
your goal is to create a non-traditional setup. Maybe something moody, or neon-inspired.

It really depends on how cheap you wanna go, which I kind of do suggest to people. Start small, build up. So try using a kit something like this. Doesn't have to be this one in particular, I'm no one's sponsor, but that's probably what you want to play around with. This is more of a polish thing, I would work on the writing most importantly!

Do those lights happened to be these ones?
Thanks for the feedback though! I’m interested in getting an ElGato light but I failed to realize I might need 2, putting the cost at $260 + tax . So I’m looking at other options. Although at the end of the day I might go with a hard drive upgrade and a new keyboard :p

Do you think this would be better than clamp on lights? With a clamp on light you must assume the guy doing the job has nothing, and will need something to clamp on to, such as a light stand, which adds to cost. This comes with two light stands that might just be tall enough.
Edit: Imagine my biggest items would be full length dresses or overalls. I'm thinking since it is only 66pc led units, it'd be suited for smaller objects in terms of height.

Do you think these would work? They are the most inexpensive, and they don't look too bulky.

I use these NEEWER lights. One lights the front of my face and one lights the side. I also put up some LED strips in the background of my room to add a little colour.

What I did was:
- Find a corner of the room
- Put your desk there where you do your unboxing make, etc
- Put up some sound blankets (or moving blankets, same thing but like 500x cheaper and do the same thing) to make audio better and less echoey
- Get these
They’re light and portable and the best thing is you can unscrew them from the stands and attach them to the sound blanket using command strips and set them where you need them and they’ll be all good to go

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up going with these things. VERY cheap quality, but they get the job done.

It all depends on what you want, but the best tip is to angle it where you have a clear view of you and a nice background. The background I use is my bed and my wall behind me with framed posters. For lighting, block out natural light unless you really like that. Invest in ring lights if you have the money. But you want to set up what they call a "3 point lighting system" I will give you two links- one for cheap lights you can buy and one for how to set up lighting!

Thanks!
The photo setup is good, but it's not great or magic.
I'm using a cheap light box and a pair of cheap lights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GKGGICC https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T8FBZC2
My camera is a Pentax Kx. It's was a mid-level DSLR when it came out, in 2009 😆
I'm using a 100mm Macro/Portrait lens which is probably the most "specialize" part of the setup.
I put the lights about 3 ft from the light box, on the left and right and turn off all of the other lights in room. I set the camera to "Macro" mode, lock the ISO low (400-800), and set the F-stop to a level that gives me the depth of focus I want (ie: how much of the image depth is crisp and how much is blurry).
The last key element is that I use a cheap tripod and I set the camera to have a 2 second delay between the button push and the time the photo takes. This lets the minor vibrations from pushing the button dissipate before the photo takes.
The exposure time will be long with the low ISO, low light, and likely high F-stop: 2-30s
You'll need to take some test photos to make adjustments. Depth of focus can be adjusted with F-stop. Brightness can be adjusted with "Exposure Correction".
It sounds complicated but, with a little experimentation you'll start to understand the ins and outs.

Anything is better than nothing, but apart from Lume Cube LED panel I reviewed, I'd love to try a ring light like this Neewer one, and their cheap 2 pack LED Video Light panel looks pretty good for the price too!

Sure! The LED panel is a double set from amazon and the speakers are part of a kit, the boxes were gift (hand made).

So, after looking at the sample videos.
1) f4.0 is basically useless indoors on APSC. I would pony for something considerably faster. Even an inexpensive fast manual lens would give you better results. Your subject is not moving too much you could go with a manual lens if price is a concern. 7Artisans 35 1.2 or some such. Sigma 56 1.4 would give you amazing results if you are NOT concerned about price.
2) You need some lights. Even something as inexpensive as: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T8FBZC2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 would help out.
4) To avoid noise on APSC, I try to not let my ISO go over... actually 1600.
3) Not sure what format you are shooting in. I would aim for the 4k 24p. I too find Sony 1080p to be kind of "squishy".
So some final thoughts, you got an amazing camera paired with a pretty poor lens. You are correct, your video should be tack sharp given you can control the environment you are shooting in. Add light, faster lens, keep that ISO as low as possible.
That's all I got man.

If you have a Canon camera, you can use that as a webcam through their software, though it is limited to a some models for now, it's in beta but works really well : Link
Invest in an XLR microphone + Audio Interface, that way you have a lot of room to upgrade your mic in the future (should you need to). Personally I use the Audio Technica AT2020 and the M Audio M Track 2x2. There's a lot of cheaper options for Audio Interface like this BEHRINGER but I got the M Audio because of the Type C connection
I personally don't own a ring light but I've been using these Neewer Lights and they get really bright. I light my room with these Xiaomi Smart Lights so I'm able to set the color of my room to whatever color I want
If you're looking for capture cards, stay away from Elgato for now because of extreme price hikes, these Chinese Capture Cards came outta nowhere and blew everyone's minds with how cheap and useful it is, it captures 4K at 30fps at only 30 bucks, although it doesn't capture audio, it's still insane at what it can do. I bought 2 just because it's so cheap, it's cheaper from where I live in anyway at $5 a pop.
Can't speak for gaming headsets but I've been rocking the Audio Technica M50x for 3 years now and I love the flat audio it gives out, not a big fan of bass boosted "Gaming Headphones". Thee are monitor headsets so everything you hear is how and what the sound engineers intended to.
Shameless plug but check out my stream to see how my setup is, would be great if you can give a follow too, so close to affiliate! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/660041245?filter=archives&sort=time
Also I stream on a Ultrawide monitor so that's a bit of a rare resolution. Hope these answers your questions, cheers

I use a Logitech C920 as well, it's great. A good microphone is the single most important piece of equipment you'll buy -- I'd say it's far more important than an HD camera.
I actually have two different lighting/mic setups, depending on what I'm trying to do... I'll put links here just for reference. I did this all on the cheap from Amazon.
Keep in mind too that you always want to record your videos standing up if possible; I picked up that tip a while back and it really works. I don't know if it's a mental thing or an energy thing, but it's a difference-maker.
For recording content videos and lectures, I set up a bit of a home studio using a 3-point lighting setup with lights like this and a green screen on a backdrop stand. I use this lavalier mic and it's incredible for the price, easily the best money I've spent so far on any of this crap. I'll be about 4 feet from the camera with this setup.
For more of the casual on-the-fly update videos (and the zillion Zoom calls) I crank my computer up on a standing desk and have two-point lighting with these - one top right corner of my monitor to light up the face, one low left corner of the monitor to get rid of the chin shadow. This mic is incredible for desk use, but I often just rest the lav mic on the desk in front of me. I'll be maybe 18 inches from the camera with this setup.
Since nobody's mentioned video software yet, both Camtasia (PC/Mac) and Screenflow (Mac only) are great for more advanced video editing than whatever comes bundled on your computer. I personally use and love Screenflow. Both have education pricing as well: For Camtasia education pricing ($169), click here. For Screenflow education pricing ($116) enter discount code SA2019EDU at checkout.

If I were you I would have a look at the Elgato wave, yes it is more than $100 but saving up and buying it when you can should be well worth it :) Here is a review on it, and why I think it might be a good thing to start with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqQX25t6FOQ If you do not want to save up, I would suggest that you some better lighting; these are the ones that I got for myself https://www.amazon.com/Neewer-Dimmable-Adjustable-Tabletop-Photography/dp/B07T8FBZC2/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=photo+lights&qid=1595407451&sr=8-3 and they do a good job at it. Gratz on your first payout \^\^
