>1.) Would this be able to run Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, GTA 5, Minecraft, Call of Duty, and Cyberkpunk at 1440 | =+60FPS >
Absolutely, this will play those games at 1440p 130+ fps on high settings even with programs running in the background, but if you want to get your full performance for gaming, look up how to overclock your GPU, especially this one. I have this exact card overclocked to 2150 mhz so you can really get a lot out of this card
>2.) Would this work well for streaming and video editing? >
Streaming yes, video editing will be fine but it probably won't blow you away, you can scrub through 1080p videos fairly quickly but there is a bit of delay for anything much higher quality
>3.) Any other towers work with this build or is it limited to the one you included? Was thinking about this one >
Absolutely, in fact that's usually the case I recommend but I tried to make sure the build was under budget, but you could put it in any mid tower you want so get something you like looking at
>4.) Could I use an Ethernet cord with this build?
Ethernet, wifi, and there's also bluetooth not that you can use that for the internet lol

CPU: Ryzen 2600x 140$
GPU: RX 580 8GB 160$
MB: Asrock pro 4 80$
RAM: 3200mh 2x8GB 80$
PSU: 60$ 500-600W 80+ bronze.
SSD: 70-100$ (1TB)
Case 70$ (This one is really nice https://www.amazon.com/NZXT-H510i-Vertical-Integrated-Water-Cooling/dp/B07TC76671?th=1)
This should put you around 680-720. You can definitely play mentioned games on 100-120 fps but you need to tone down settings a bit. Lucky for you, "ultra" settings are usually pointless and some of the functions can drop your fps by 20-40% while having absolutely no noticeable visual effect.

Personally a big fan of the NZXT H510 case: https://www.amazon.com/NZXT-H510-Management-Water-Cooling-Construction/dp/B07TC76671/ref=sr_1_1?qid=1581367816&refinements=p_89%3ANzxt&s=electronics&sr=1-1

Oh man, I was worried we were talking sub $500 range!
Generally, for budget gaming, you want to spend about one third of your build on your GPU. At that price, I'd be watching like a hawk for a 1660S, which you can get new for < $250. A 1650S can often be found right around the $200 mark new if you catch one in stock
For processor, I'd go Ryzen 3 3100X and use the stock cooler. $100 new
16 Gigs of Ram, any brand with >3200 mhz (3600 is the sweet spot for Ryzen if you don't want to fiddle with timing more than basic settings). You can get away with 8 gigs to start with though
For a motherboard: go with a b450 mATX board. 2019 tech, yes, and smaller board (less silicon to print), both of which can save you money. Just make sure you still get 4 RAM slots and read reviews on the board you pick (ASRock B450m steel legend is a budget board with RGB on the components)
For SSD: just pick up a 240 gb m.2 ssd for running the operating system and whatever active game files need to be run. You can pick one up for $35 new: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P22RK1G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_koD5Fb1XJQENE
mATX cases also offer some cheap build options. The NZXT cooler master is a common choice at $65 new https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TC76671/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_XlD5Fb02V27ZW

Either of these would be fine.
If you just want a functional box, with questionable build quality, this will work, but I really really hated my cheap rosewill case from my last build. Just terrible build quality and multiple things fell off by the end of 6 years and a few moves, including the side panel that warped because the metal was just incredibly flimsy. If you'll never touch it again after building, its probably ok ish.

If you have a different budget i can make a new build for you.
The thing is with used parts is that the 5600xt is not even a year old so you won't be able to find it used. You could buy the 5600xt from amazon warehouse. A 5600xt is $246 at the time of writing and is covered by amazon. You can get a NZXT H510 case for $52 with some scuffs. You're already getting a good price for the 3600+motherboard at microcenter. You should never buy used storage or a used PSU.
You could buy a used RX580 for $100 on ebay but that card is not in the same league as the the 5600xt.

Can I make some recommendations?
> Cougar MX330 ATX Mid Tower Case
For what you are paying for the case and a fan you can get a NZXT 510. It doesn't need additional fans and is a MUCH better case and you will enjoy building in it a lot more.
For $185 you can get the ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (WiFi)
Take the $60 you save on the mother board and get an RX 570
Finally, you would be better off getting an R5 1600AF for $85 and spending the saving on 16GB of RAM (2x8GB) so you can run dual channel.
1 points • oddkvn
I would return the motherboard because you shouldn't be spending more on a motherboard than your GPU. You're going to bottleneck your CPU with a lower-end GPU like the 1050.
Also, go for this ram instead, you're spending too much on just a brand.
OLOy 32GB 3600 MHz - $78.99
Also, Rosewill isn't the most trusted brand out there, I would go with an NZXT H510 - $69.99
Maybe get some RBG fans, just because you got some extra money to play with.
1 points • devil_yager
I need suggestions for a CPU cooler.
My Ryzen 5 3600 idles around 56C and sits around 75C during gaming, so the stock Wraith is fine for cooling but it looks boring. I'd like to add a splash of color with LED or RGB. I'm not really interested in an AIO.
This darkFlash Shadow Pro jumped out at me at not being too flashy or pricey. Thoughts?
Edit: I use a NZXT H510 and a MSI MPG X570 mobo to give you an idea of what kind of space I'm working with.

Since you play at 1440p i thought that 2080S gonna be a cheaper choice than 2080ti . I chooses 10980XE over 10900 because for 200$ extra you get 6 more cores .

Wow wow wow! I was not expecting all these answers! Thanks guys. This is a build I put together using r/buildcores , sort of using your advice. Can you guve me any suggestions? Also, is there a cheaper alternative to the i7-9700k? I haven't really looked into AMD products.

Here's the entry level Alienware Aurora R9 (AW's latest desktop refresh besides the Ryzen edition which some consider R10)
Specs:
Intel® Core™ i5 9400
Windows 10 Home 64bit English
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1660 SUPER™ 6GB GDDR6
8GB HyperX™ FURY DDR4 XMP at 2666MHz
1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s
Cost is $869.99 USD on Dell.com, on Dell University (Dell's student website which you really just need a link to access) you could likely get it cheaper depending on which specs you would want. But we'll use the regular pricing since Amazon which I'll use for the pre-built parts does not offer a discount. Taxes nearly anywhere but a tax-free state in the US will make that over $900 so lets round it to that. OP said building that would be "50-60% cheaper" so that'd be $450 right?
(Here we've already proven that 50-60% cheaper price wrong)
You're also going to need a PC case, so let's add this NZXT one for $80
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TC76671/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Lets assume this is also your first build ever and you wanted a basic mouse and keyboard for set-up, Alienware desktops come with one I know so lets add this shitty office Dell bundle for $30
That comes out to $757.83. Just over $100 cheaper before tax.
And again, depending if you're a student (or just someone with this link https://www.dell.com/en-us/member/shop/delluniversity/ab/delluniversity?gacd=9614781-1019-5761040-0-0&dgc=st&gclid=Cj0KCQjws_r0BRCwARIsAMxfDRiwlH6Qrq8H_32TcJRw9ioTQzsTLDWR0A_g6CHOSWgkBYr9CPKWYMsaAoaaEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds oops) and go on Dell University, you could probably get the same thing in a shiny Alienware package with a year's manufacturer warranty for the whole machine for around the same price.

Ryzen 5 3600 - around 220$ RX 5700 XT - around 400$ Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR4 3600 - around 60$ Samsung 860 EVO 500GB (not PCIe) - around 70$ Motherboard GIGABYTE B365M DS3H - around 75$ Tower NZXT H510 - around 70$ Power supply EVGA 100 - around 50$ I don’t think so mate, this list is already reaching 950 bucks and I didn’t even look for a HDD. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can help you, but seems to me like that build’s pretty reasonably priced
