I drunkenly purchased one off Amazon back in December.
I was out for after-work drinks with coworkers, and I’ve got this one coworker who bought one on a whim a couple years ago. If you get him started about bidets, he won’t stop; the dude gets on a rant like he’s the pope of the church of power washing your pooper.
But this time, another coworker who grew up in the Middle East chimed in about it having been commonplace where she grew up, and how she’s always found it weird it’s not a thing here. So seeing her as a sober voice of reason, I pulled out my phone and bought one.
10/10 purchase, and I didn’t even regret it when I sobered up. My wife rolled her eyes at me when I told her, but now she’s all about it. We go through a lot less toilet paper these days.
Edit: I’m seeing some questions about what model I got; here you go: The Luxe Bidet Neo 120.

Not the OP but I have this one, which was on sale for $36 when I bought it. It’s good.

There are also cheaper options for anyone not wanting to spend $100 on a bidet.

The funny thing is these morons could’ve saved themselves a lot of money by just buying a bidet attachment for their toilet ever since I bought one we only go through a couple rolls a month no

I'm a renter and I have one. I got this one https://www.amazon.com/Luxe-Bidet-Neo-120-Non-Electric/dp/B00JG2DETM/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=bidet&qid=1583182642&sr=8-3
Super easy to install, won't damage anything when you take it off. It's cold water, but you get used to it.

We used to have a super fancy one, with a heated seat and heated water. It was like $1000, and it came with the house (renting it from grandma) (yeah it's kind of weird when you think about it). It was really nice. Then it was given to another elderly family member and we went a couple of years without a bidet.
Then I bought a cheap one from with only cold water, no electrical hookups at all. And I honestly think it's fine. I didn't like the power cord across the bathroom counter anyway. Not worth the effort of making a more clean installation. The necessary functional requirements of the bidet are totally met in a cheap one, and I still love it so much that sometimes I save my turds for home instead of pooping at work.
Also a side note, my house water pressure was 90 psi, and there was no setting on the bidet that was low enough. There were other issues in the house because of the high pressure, but that was the final straw that made me pay a plumber $400 to put in a pressure regulator on my incoming water line.
tl;dr: my probably unpopular opinion is that cheap bidets with no heat offer a better value.

Guys you should try a bidet attachment for your toilet.
I got one a couple xmas' ago and it is life changing.
I used maybe 6 rolls A YEAR now.
Seriously they connect to the fresh water supply of the toilet and install under the seat.
Sprays your brown-eye with like a squirt gun jet of water, that scours you out.
The one I have is a Neo-180 or 120 or somehting from Amazon $35.
Save SO MUCH TP now.
edit Its the Neo120
YOU DON"T NEED WARM WATER. EVERYONE THINKS YOU DO YOU DON"T

Let me tell you, buying a bidet was the best 40 bucks I ever spent. Taps into existing line and doesn't any tools (Came with what it needed).
I used to use wet towlettes to follow-up dry wipes, but always felt guilty after finding out that they aren't recommended for sewer systems (even the "sewer safe" ones).

48 bucks on Amazon or wherever online and 15 minutes tops to install without special tools. This is the exact model I have and it's great.

I actually finished my April order in October. Just a mere 96 rolls in 200 days between 2 adults with bidets. Not terrible. Note:The Bidet is a new life..

It was easy enough to install. It works by a using a t-joint on your toilet's existing fill line.
Now, installation might be complicated if you have older rigid pipes, this is made for the newer flexible fill lines. Also I had to buy a new line that goes between the valve and the toilet's tank because the one I had didn't fit on the t-joint. This wasn't expensive or a really big deal, just a trip to the hardware store.
Also, you do need to use thread seal tape (plumber's tape). I installed without it and it leaked, but no problems after using the tape. This product comes with a small roll of it, but this is also something you can get at the hardware store, real common stuff.
Most likely you won't have these problems, unless you're working with an old toilet that isn't compatible with modern hardware.

I purchased two bidets during our last lockdown when toilet paper was hard to come by.
I purchased the Luxe Bidet Neo 120 from Amazon for my half bathroom downstairs.
I purchased the TUSHY Classic for the master bathroom.
The cheaper bidet was surprisingly the better of the two and I’d highly recommend it. And yes - I’ve used significantly less toilet paper since the installation of the two bidets.

I got this. For like $30 it will change your life. I’m a bidet evangelist, preaching from my toilet seat.

This is the exact same one that I bought a while back. Not sure if the price went up, but it’s $47 and gets the job done. I’m looking to upgrade to a different model with heating and air drying to see if I can avoid toilet paper altogether, but this one works fine for now.

Spend enough to get a decent one. You don’t want one that can leak and cause damage.
This is as cheap as I’d go:

Also make sure you use plumbers tape on all the threads
PS I can’t speak to the female experience except to say many of the products have feminine settings. Women all around the world use the technology so it should be safe.

You can absolutely install a toilet-seat bidet attachment in an apartment. It will change your life. I have a more expensive model from Costco that has a seat warmer, water heat settings, and a booty dryer... it makes me sad to use the bathroom at work.

I love this washlet and have it in both bathrooms. Game changer best 30 bucks I have ever spent.

Man could benefit from a bidet either way.

Your selfishness makes you a vector and a danger to the rest of us. I'm young, I'll probably be fine, and if you're young then you will most likely be fine too. But do you really want to be the reason your grandma, or your elderly neighbor, or the sweet old lady that runs a shop down the street gets severely sick and possibly dies? Do you really want to contribute to hospitals getting filled beyond capacity?
this is still available but most are out of stock so act fast.
