These are the only PBT keycaps I can get easily on emag, which is like amazon for Romania.

I really don't understand how to make sense of this information, but if the keycaps will fit the majority of the keys, that's fine with me. I.e. if I can't get a fit for a small few of the unique keys, like the weird shaped space bar, it's not the end of the world for me. I don't care much about the aesthetics so the board can look weird and mismatched and I'm cool with that. I also have a spare Magicforce 80% -- will those keys work? I won't need the board anymore once I get a new one.

I have a Huntsman TE.

I recently bought doubleshot PBT pudding keycaps from hyperX.

The keys fit ok, thanks to Razer making this keybaord standard OEM layout.

However, because the switch stabilizer and LED bulb sticks far forward (away from me) some keycaps slide against it and make more noise.

I am wanting to lube the inside of the keycap, instead of trying to bend them out to not touch.

Are there any recommendations for lube brand/type that will be appropriate to use with the plastic of the keycaps and switches?

The first Key was one of the WASD keys, so I just replaced it with the silver textured one that came with the keyboard (Alloy Elite RGB) and thought it was just bad luck. But now a 2nd key has broken off - and the keyboard is out of warranty by now, so is anyone else able to find replacement key caps for these? I didn't think a 140.00 keyboard would break this quickly, but its the first one I've ever bought that wasn't a cheap membrane style, but it is the first I've had with this type of issue.

The plastic they use to make the caps must be far more brittle than the norm or something.

Then you are compounding the issue the other way. Between how high it actuates and how lite the spring is activates way to easily and will be a mess while typing. I have an Elite and its by far my worst keyboard for typing. And if you get the clicky its one of the worst sounding keyboards out there. Its also 2.5x the price of getting a GK61X that supports MX style switches.

Get this.

GK61XS (there is a cheaper one without BT)

Kaihl Brown switches (get a 70 batch)

You can use the keycaps from the the optical one you have now. Or Go crazy RGB and get

Crazy Pudding caps so the colors go wild.

This is between $20-$40 cheaper than the Mini. Sound better. Have swapable switches. And you can do things like putting it in a nicer Alu case later.

This alu case will support the spacebar module which is really sweet.
