There are some adapters that allow bluetooth connection. Haven't tried any of them myself.

If you get bluetooth headphones for the Switch, you'll need an adapter for it. They can be pretty expensive though. This is the one I see recommended the most.

I use this one with my Bose QC35s and it works like a charm:

I just discovered a few third-party accessories that you can plug in to your Switch that transmit the audio over Bluetooth! Like this: https://www.amazon.com/HomeSpot-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Compatible-Headphones/dp/B07L9SL7ZT

You should be looking for Bluetooth speakers, not just "wireless".
Theres lots of Bluetooth adapters that work with the Switch while docked, so thats not an issue.
Something like this, then pair it with a speaker or sound system that also supports APTX LL.
APTX LL should be the only thing you look for with a wireless setup, as otherwise there would be a very noticeable delay between the image on screen and the audio coming out of your speakers.

Just treated myself to the new Airpods Pro for my birthday. Looking into the Switch USB-C Bluetooth transmitters. So far the most popular (and sponsored selection) Homespot 5.0 Transmitter: https://www.amazon.com/HomeSpot-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Compatible-Headphones/dp/B07L9SL7ZT
Anyone else have experience with any other devices or is this one just the default selection at this point?

You can get a Bluetooth adapter for the switch(I put a link here )

You need to use a compatible dongle, you can't just use any old bluetooth adapter.

This is probably as cheap as dongles get for BT on Switch.

I use the homespot bluetooth adapter here

I use this with my razer hammerhead true wireless earbuds. Those particular earbuds have a special low latency mode that uses more battery to have extremely low latency and with that mode on they last about 4 hours or 6 in normal mode.
Best part of this adapter is its included type a adapter. Meaning you can get wireless audio with any bluetooth headphones or earbuds in docked mode and handheld mode. Plus a small bag to keep it in while not in use. This adapter also runs off the switches power so it doesn't need to be charged itself. Wonderful stuff.
This has been my essay on dank audio equipment. Thanks. Love you.

Sup QC35 bro. There are some good Bluetooth adapters, they have a bit of latency on the QC35 but not too bad. This one is expensive but has a built in mic and a good form factor.

I have a HomeSpot Bluetooth adapter. It’s USB-C, but comes with a normal USB adapter to use when docked. I highly suggest it. It also works as a headphone adapter for anything that can do USB audio. I use it with my PS4 and PC as well.
It is super small and fits great when not docked, and can even pair to a second bluetooth device if you have the need.

Bluetooth is an extra cost, but other than that it's not much of an extra hoop.

I initially bought this for the switch, but it works on my PS4 no problem so I imagine it would on PS5 also.

- Bluetooth headphone adapter For a console from 2017 it is pretty shitty it cant be used bluetooth speakers/headphones especially cuz the wifi card in the system is capable of bluetooth I have been using this one It also comes with an adapter that allows it to be used while docked
https://www.amazon.com/HomeSpot-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Compatible-Headphones/dp/B07L9SL7ZT
- Hori switch pad pro It is a really interesting accessory that makes ur switch really big but super comfortable for long sessions of gaming with it in handheld mode. If you have small hands it is not for you but if you love the switch pro controller, and want something for it when it is in handheld it is great. Full d-pad and a good sticks and programmable buttons on the back. Cons are no rumble no motion control and it can only be used when it is connected directly to the switch. It also isnt very dense so it has a little cheap feel to it. But overall changes the game.
