Thanks for the suggestion, I looked at that one pretty thoroughly and thought it would work well. I also found this one:

Gigabyte G27QC

Is one better than the other? Or are they pretty much the same?

Yea, what I mean is keeping the parts you have now and just upgrading the monitor.

As an example:

Well, this if you want a curved screen and are ok with a VA screen: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B089NJ24WZ?pf_rd_r=GY29ZDS3ZDPWMV9WWYSM&pf_rd_p=6fc81c8c-2a38-41c6-a68a-f78c79e7253f

There's another version of this screen with a flat IPS screen but it goes over 300$

Budget: Max $300 but would prefer to be $250

Prospective Resolution (3840x2160, etc.): #### x #### Not really sure to be honest

Size (27 inches, etc.): Was thinking 27inch would be ideal

Aspect Ratio (16:9, etc.): Not sure

Adaptive Sync (GSync, FreeSync, or None): I have a 2060 RTX. I heard Freesync is compatible but not sure. Whatever is cheaper and would be compatible.

Other Features (list other relevant features here): curve would be nice but now mandatory. The option to possibly have a second monitor/mounting would be nice if I ever do it in the futre. 2 hdmi ports.

(Optional) Usage Type (gaming, art, etc.): Primarily gaming.

I saw this one but not sure if it's over kill for my 2060 rtx ko ultra or if I could get a better deal somewhere else. Not sure if 1080 or 1440 is the way to go. This would be my first proper monitor from using a 65inch 60hz television.

I recently purchased the Gigabyte G27QC. For a 27" 1440p, 165hz monitor it has been very impressive for the price.

This one is a little over your budget

https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-Monitor-Display-Response-FreeSync/dp/B089NJ24WZ/ref=sr_1_19?dchild=1&keywords=1440p+144hz+monitor&qid=1600265156&s=electronics&sr=1-19

It's got a 165hz VA Panel w/HDR, Freesync, 1ms Response Time, and Displayport 1.4. This is a good option if your willing to go over your budget a little

So as I await (hopefully) my Msi RTX 3070 to arrive sometime in December. To best utilize the card's capabilities I was looking to upgrade my 1080p monitor to a 1440p, Id like a 4k but I prefer to run things at max/ultra and not downgrade. I was deciding on either these two https://www.amazon.com/GNV32DB-G-Sync-Ready-FreeSync-Warranty-Zero-Tolerance/dp/B087R21CL2/ref=sr_1_9?dchild=1&keywords=1440p%2Bmonitor%2Bcurved&qid=1605909254&sr=8-9&th=1

or https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-Monitor-Display-Response-FreeSync/dp/B089NJ24WZ/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

I am interested in hearing what setups everyone else with a 3070 is using or some friendly advice to get the most out of my Card. Thanks :)

Hi All,

I am planning on buying a new monitor to keep up with the new Xbox Series X and a new PC down the road. If I am going to be spending this kind of money on a monitor, I want to make sure I get some input.

I have never used curved, but from all the feedback I have read, I think it's the right fit for me. As for size, I am not too sure which would be better.

1080 vs 1440? I am not sure what the major difference is

If you have any other suggestions, please let me know!

Option 1 - ASUS TUF Gaming VG32VQ1B 31.5” Curved Monitor, WQHD (2560 x 1440), 165Hz (Supports 144Hz), 1ms, FreeSync Premium/Adaptive-sync, Extreme Low Motion Blur, HDR10, HDMI DisplayPort

Option 2 - ASUS TUF Gaming VG27WQ1B 27” Curved Monitor, 1440P WQHD (2560 x 1440), 165Hz (Supports 144Hz), 1ms, Adaptive-sync/FreeSync Premium, Extreme Low Motion Blur, Eye Care, HDMI DisplayPort, HDR10

Option 3 - GIGABYTE G27QC 27" 165Hz 1440P Curved Gaming Monitor, 2560 x 1440 VA 1500R Display, 1ms (MPRT) Response Time, 92% DCI-P3, HDR Ready, FreeSync Premium, 1x Display Port 1.4

Option 4 - MSI Full HD Gaming Red LED Non-Glare Super Narrow Bezel 1ms 1920 x 1080 165Hz Refresh Rate Free Sync 32” Curved Gaming Monitor (Optix AG32C), Black

Thank you in advance!

I'm looking to get either the GIGABYTE G27QC 27 or the Gigabyte G27Q, as they are both 27-inch, 1440p, 144hrtz refresh rate monitors. However, I am stuck deciding if it is worth to give up the curved aspect of the G27QC ( With a VA panel ) for the IPS, flat panel of the G27Q.

I am going to be using this monitor for productivity and moderate gaming, and will be using it in a single monitor setup.

Which monitor would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
