I just bought this on Amazon for $250. I've been extremely happy so far. I've only ever had 350lbs on it, but seemed steady

It’s a little more expensive now than when I ordered it but honestly it’s worked out great for my needs!

Anyone have the fitness reality squat rack with spotter arms? The spotter arms in my set look angled up while photos look straight.

It was in stock a few days ago.

Yep got it on amazon! I wouldn’t trust it with my life or anything, but no complaints for the price.

Anyone familiar with the FITNESS REALITY 810XLT Power Rack? Can’t seem to get my hands on a cage from Rep and came across this rack from a local guy. Any feedback about the rack would be appreciated.

Budget? If below $300 I like this one, it goes for $240 usually and it has bunch of attachments coming with it already and has weight capacity of 800lb

Two uprights, not the full cage. Essentially yeah, I'm looking for a squat stand with spotter arms, but not the ones that are free legs you move in and out.
This is the cheap CAP one I'm referencing. It's okay, but it is 1.) Tall and 2.) Not as stable as I'd like. The height isn't a deal breaker, but something shorter with adjustable height would be better. (As long as it's not super unstable when I lift it to squat or press) https://www.amazon.com/Barbell-Power-Rack-Exercise-Stand/dp/B00HYQP72O/ref=mp_s_a_1_24?dchild=1&keywords=half+rack&qid=1603675095&sr=8-24
Edit: Looks like for stability, the height is gonna have to come with it. Think I'm gonna go with this one; the landmine attachment has me sold. https://www.amazon.com/Fitness-Reality-Multi-Function-Adjustable-J-Hooks/dp/B084P72GYX/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=squat+rack&qid=1603676754&refinements=p_72%3A1248957011&rnid=1248955011&s=sporting-goods&sprefix=squ&sr=1-4

I am currently looking at getting a half rack for my basement but the problem is that the ceilings are below 7ft (around 84-86 inches)
I was looking at half racks and stumbled on 2 that will fit my place
The Hulkfit half rack that is 81 inches
and
The Fitness Reality half rack that is 81 inches
After doing some research and reading tons of reviews, it look like neither of these racks would be good for the long run. Both racks seem to have QC issues
Someone mentioned that if you are serious, don't go for these cheap racks, use the money and save up for a quality rack instead as you're literally trusting this rack with your life.
I would like to have a pull up bar, not only for pull ups but to attach a pulley system and possibly TRX and rings.
I was planning on getting the Rogue SML-2 and taking the uprights to a local machine shop to chop off 10in from the top but is this really the best way to go about it?
Another option is the SML-1 and attach a pull up bar at the top, the remove it what I need to squat
Hoping to run it by members here to know their thoughts and suggestions. I can't do a full rack because of space issues
Thanks

Anyone use this rack before? I know it's the basic one from Amazon, but my budget is a little tight and I'm currently in a rental home, so I'm only looking at something to get me started(My max lifts for Squat is only around 315-325 anyways).

Probably the best bang fir the buck racks from a reputable company. This is far from rogue quality but it’s also far from rogue price, even more so with prime shipping.

For 50$ more I’d get the cage if you have the room.

I dont see that one posted much on here but most people here have been going with the Fitness Reality 810XLT from Amazon for a good budget option.
I personally have their half rack which I dont have many complaints about. I did buy another set of j-hooks because the ones that came with my rack was basically bare metal and scratched up my bar and also not long enough for me to walk my bar straight into the rack, then down while reracking during squats.

Hey guys, I'm starting from scratch with a home gym to do 5x5. 2 years in a row i've had to stop for various reasons (Msc, changing jobs, Covid) and I want the home gym to remove any excuses. Now some background info.
I live in a small country(1.5m people), as such, the used market is really limited and closely priced to brand new items. Importing is hit or miss with such heavy items and God help you if there is an issue that requires returns. That leaves me with mostly new equipment from a very small selection.
The options I want some feedback on are:
https://www.amazon.com/Sunny-Health-Fitness-Power-Squat/dp/B081S9FC5X?th=1
and
https://www.amazon.com/Fitness-Reality-Multi-Function-Adjustable-Power/dp/B084P72GYX?th=1
I like the pull up bar adjustment and dimensions of the Sunny Health more. Long term, attachments for the Fitness Reality are possibly more readily available and the safety arms are longer. Any feedback is appreciated.
Of course I have other decisions to make - benches, first set of weights, etc. but I can get some of those second hand.
