Maybe you could use a 180 degree adapter like this?

They are These! however i received two packs (you have to buy a pack for each 8 pin) that had hard plastic backs and one that had soft adhesive backs. The plastic looks way better (what is pictured here). I returned three trying to get another plastic and never got one again, i ended up pulling off the adhesive and sitting the plastic on the other version.

I’m not sure if this link will work on here, but I used these. Some higher quality options might exist out there, but I checked the continuity on all of the pins to make sure it it wasn’t going to smoke anything immediately. No issues so far.

If not for these that overly huge card would fit in my NCase. I waited a hour on line at Microcenter and thats all they had left. At the very least I'm off this crazy Out of Stock Ride for the next 2-3 years

Look at the next suggestions in my comment thread. There are some 180 degree adapters that might would work instead of vertical mounting. If you go vertical it looks like your fans would be flush against the glass. Horrible cooling if that would be the case.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P5R258Q/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_60ENEbMQ480KR
These would put the connection on the top of the GPu facing the mobo.

Please, please, please... get a couple of sets of 180 degree adapters for your PCI-E power connections so they will route down behind your card.
Seriously, it was the best $15 investment I made for cleaning up my interior cabling.

I use two of these with combed cables going down into my PSU shroud:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P5R258Q
Note: You have to buy two sets because the pair of them are opposing in pin layout (read the item description).

They sell adapters that reposition where you plug in the cable (like a drop down adapter) but I've heard mixed reviews and never used them myself.

180 degree adapters. Pretty much required for a lot of SFF builds with wide cards.
https://www.amazon.com/Female-AngledPower-Adapter-Desktops-Graphics/dp/B07P5R258Q/
Note that these come in opposite directions, so if you need 2 of the same, you need to order 2 sets.

This is for the 8 pin ones and the 6 pin should be easy to find from there. It comes in a 2pk but they aren't the same, one is flipped around so if your card needs 2 connectors, you'll have to order two 2pks https://www.amazon.com/Female-AngledPower-Adapter-Desktops-Graphics/dp/B07P5R258Q/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=pcie+180+degree+adapter&qid=1602598291&sprefix=pcie+180&sr=8-3

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P5R258Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_0DyHFb5M3Z2JH Maybe these will help your issue. Keep in mind you need to order 2 of these as one is angled up and the other down.

this is the adapter you buy, so your cables don't make your side panel bulge
https://www.amazon.com/Female-AngledPower-Adapter-Desktops-Graphics/dp/B07P5R258Q
you might need some electrical tape to make the back smooth, as whatever covering they have on it (that faces your side panel) falls off. I also believe you have to buy two sets of these, as one of the two is the wrong orientation, but do your homework on that to confirm

180 degree pcie power adapter. Didn't actually need it in this class since I have a bit more headroom but a blessing in most SFF.
1 points • RomanHippo
I had the same issue with my 5700XT so I bought these and now it fits. You have to buy two packets since the connectors are angled differently in each packet.

>I agree with the negative conclusion and the design failure but to add to all the other simular reviews i would have really liked to see a) some blower cards and b) a 240 (+maybe 240 slim?) custom loop with the gpu.
I suspect the reason he didn't try was due to the GPU size constraints. Not only is the card required to be sub-290mm; and the card can only be 2 slot vertical thickness maximum; the card has a very limited width in the case. I'm kind of surprised FD didn't supply180-degree turn-arounds for the PCIe power cables to make sure the door would go on.
IOW the common wide-PCB cards are a no go in this case, so you cannot watercool a GPU I'm guessing because there's no room for fittings on the side. Similarly finding a blower-card that would fit would be a problem due to that width constraint.
Would be nice for some clarity from Optimum on that tho.

After many months of lurking and seeing other builds, I finally get to post mine!
Parts:
- Intel i5-10600k (currently at all stock, might stay that way)
- Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi
- Gigabyte Auros Z490i
- Corsair SF750
- Kingston A2000 NVMe 1TB
- EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 (hardware switch set to “OC Mode”)
- 32 GB Corsair Dominator Pro RBG 3200 MHz
- 2x Noctua NFA12x15
- NR200P
- 3x (as in three pairs) PCIe 180 degree power adapters
I saw the NR200P and decided to go SFF for my next build, what a huge step down from my ATX mid tower (Fractal Define R2). The FTW3 was the only card that I was lucky enough to get an order through on during the F5 mess of the 3080 launch, I actually ordered it about a week after launch. It is a beefy cooler, but there is a perfect amount of space for 15mm fans below it, maybe a 1-2mm gap, if that. I do not care about the “clown lips”, I see why people do not like it, but the card is gorgeous overall.
The biggest problem I had was that the SF750 PCIe cables were preventing the glass panel from closing, but I solved that with a few power adapters. The glass panel seems to add about 2 degrees on average, but is worth it to me. Cable management was a little tough, I would kill for an extra few mm between the mobo backplate and the side panel.
The CPU idles around 32C, the GPU idles around 24C, with an ambient temp of about 22C, so those slim fans are really doing work. The GPU has plenty of fresh air getting blown in from the intake fans and barely broke 60 C at 1440p 144Hz in Star Wars Squadrons. The CPU also hovers in the 60s while gaming, but hit 90+ C with Prime95, but I don’t think that’s really abnormal. I think the H7 can perform better than it is, so I might reapply thermal paste, because I originally applied the paste, put the cooler on, and then took the cooler off because I had used the wrong mounting hardware, but did not remove and reapply the paste. I have also considered adding a pull fan to the radiator, but I don’t expect more than a 1-2 degree improvement from that. With the glass panel, the CPU cooler just does not have a great source of cool air, so my temps might just be this way.

I don't run this configuration, but I believe you can run both fans at the top. I dunno why they didn't in this pic a fan gaurd would have protected the pcie cables coming from the GPU but you can get 180 pcie adapter here. I have never used these before so I cannot say how good they are.

It’s hard to tell looking at this picture but if you go to plug in the PCIe cables and there’s any clearance issues with the side panel, I recommend something like this.

That’s not GPU sag in the upper right, just a bad angle. 180 degree adapter is not the sexiest thing ever but I’ll find someone to 3-D print a white cover for it.

Sure, I mean one of these^ I can find or salvage the female 8-pin, and make the PCB, but the male 12 pin wire-to-board connector for soldering to the PCB is proving elusive.

Grab some 180 degree port adapters, though doing so would mean routing your cables over the lit evga logo.

Does anyone know if the sense wires on a GPU power cable are important?
I bought this 8 pin ATX power adaptor. link: https://www.amazon.com/Female-AngledPower-Adapter-Desktops-Graphics/dp/B07P5R258Q/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=ATX%2B8Pin%2BFemale%2Bto%2B8pin%2BMale%2B180%2BDegree%2BAngled%2BAdapter&qid=1596662884&s=electronics&sr=1-1&th=1 As you can see (https://imgur.com/a/ZYBAACT), the pin layout on one of the angled adaptors isn't 1 to 1. They bridged all ground and sense pins together as well as bridge all +12V pins together. Is this still safe to use to power a graphics card or does anyone have any recommendations on 180 angled connectors that are separately wired? What happens if the sense pins aren't wired properly? Thanks!

i gotta say i kind of enjoy the goofiness of the sff builds.
for example for the steck I had to shave down some of the plastic housing on the 5600XT to make it fit. I saw a post where someone else also cut out a corner of the shroud on their card as well to get it in the steck.
just realized that I think I had the same issue as you! my 5700xt cables also bent against the side of the NCASE as well and pushed it out some but I just received these: https://www.amazon.com/Female-AngledPower-Adapter-Desktops-Graphics/dp/B07P5R258Q to help with that. note that you need to order 2 of them because a single set is of two different types

Just means I get to turn down the furnace this winter :)
The adapters are just that, 180 degree 8 pin adapters (they also make 6 pin)
I'll warn you, if you need 2 adapters going the same way, you need to order 2 sets. They each come with 1 going up and down, but not 2 of the same.

Nothing unsafe. These ones have foam on the back to insulate to prevent shorting on anything. Just make sure to pick the one going the right orientation for your application.

So, I had been holding off on this post because I wanted to complete the looks (i.e. "real" front bezel, custom cables, etc), but I realize now that probably won't ever happen so figured just send it.
My goal here was something I could easily bring to VR hackathons while also being a nice looking and quiet daily driver (basically internetting, Rocket League and Unity projects).

Part list
So you don't need to ask and with links to the less common bits

Customization
Fitting the 2070S in this case requires some mods, so I went the expensive but tidy custom designed and fabricated shift bracket route.
If you are interested in that path the files I came up with are available here.
V1 require super shorty cables. V2 can use the 180° adapters, but requires slight trimming of the card PCB...
Also, the VR versions have an extra hole so I could mount the barrel jack that interally powers my Valve Index.
I also opted for a rear mounted power button to keep things tidy.
The stand is the wire holder part that comes with a pizza stone. Our stone cracked so I plasti-dipped the holder and flipped it.
Temps
I know people would ask so here's some info on thermals...
| CPU | GPU | Notes
--- | --- | ---- | ---- Idle | ~65° | ~50° | Virtual Desktop - Quest/WIFI | ~65° | ~55° | Rocket League | ~83° | ~73° | 155fps @ max settings Unity - Play Mode - Quest/Link | ~75° | ~63° | /u/prvncher's hand tracking demo Half Life: Alyx - Quest/VD/WIFI | ~80° | ~72° | 72fps @ 100% SS Half Life: Alyx - Quest/Link | ~81° | ~72° | 72fps @ 100% SS - runs like shit Half Life: Alyx - Index | ~83° | ~83° | 90fps @ 120% SS - vertical orientation
Fan profiles are set to be basically silent on both CPU and GPU until things get cooking (75°+), but higher idle temps don't bother me at all (particularly because just monitoring Ryzen 3 proves to keep it idling high anyway).
CPU is set to a max TDP of 65W and a 0.1 V undervolt, but otherwise is allowed to do it's thing.
GPU runs 1845 MHz @ 893mV w/ the memory @ 8000 MHz
FWIW, I have pushed it harder before, but these are comfortable enough regular settings.
Benchmarks are useful for tuning, but real world performance is what matters and this thing has handled everything I've thrown at it for the last few months with ease.
Thanks
