https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZHY1B4C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_6J3dFbGB45RB6 this is them, I'd say they are doing good with slow and steady growth, I think if you can get sunlight definitely choose that but I'd you're in a situation where you don't get much sun I'd recommend these

Two sets of LEDs from amazon... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZHY1B4C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_QYSyFbJTX5DTM
That one and another one with only 3 lights... i only have 3 plants. Is it possible to reverse popcorn buds? I was hoping for a larger harvest paying $60 for 5 seeds and only 3 germinated.

I just ordered this on Amazon
It should be here today so I can’t speak on it’s effectiveness but it’s affordable and the reviews are great. I liked this option because I rent so I can clip this in random places around my apartment and not worry about installing lights in random places or trying to find bulbs that work in existing fixtures. This is mostly for my calatheas because they are already struggling so in my head they’ll be worse in winter lol I also plan on getting a humidifier!

This is the one I got, but tbh I should of just gotten one with 2 heads. I only use 1 of the heads at a time. Also it's really nice because you can dim it, so when i observe my gecko at night I dim it down all the way and put the light on red. That way it doesn't disturb her as much!

Thanks for the reply, ya those are some valid concerns you bring up. would something like this work?

I use this Led Grow Light from Amazon! I usually just leave it on 6-12 hours out of the day!
I mist & fan with just the lid every 2-4 hours. I spray the walls to keep it moist, and then lightly mist the surface!
I’m not pro but I’ve done good amounts of research and my first grow went really well and this one is proving to be even better!

I’m setting up some indoor plants, these lights are pretty well reviewed. Any thoughts? It’s for an office so the hanging or strip lights aren’t an option.

I use two of these in a basement and they're great! It does need something sturdy to clip onto, but the arms have a wide range of movement. They work great and they have an easily programmable timer for either 3, 9, or 12 hours of light per day.

Sure, no problem. I found it via orders on amazon. Gotta love modern conveniences.
My testimonial: I’m the one who turns off the lights every night. I can see plant growth on every plant that is exposed to the light. It has a spectrum of colors to choose from. Works A+. I recommend to anyone that asks.

Hi friend! I’ve had really good luck with these lights and similar. I got mine from Amazon about two years ago but there are plenty of other places to buy if you are trying to avoid Amazon. I also keep mine near a window but not directly in the sunlight, I water twice a week, and give liquid fertilizer once a month. Definitely no expert, but my monstera puts out about one new leaf a month.
Good luck!

Ok, I was just so excited when it started looking better and then when it looked so sad again I was afraid I had done something wrong. This is my first time growing any plants seriously so I'm trying to research and learn.
It's a blue and red LED light. This is the link for the one I got.

The purple light in the pic is a really cheep 80w clip on light from amazon. The larger QB is a carambola from amazon as well, I think it was $79. I’m planning on using both to help with the limit I had on budget for lighting.

If it's this light it's probably not actually an 80 watt light, but rather an "80 watt equivalent" light. There's a lot of cheap LED grow lights with really misleading info. :/ What does the fine print on the power adapter say? Since it's got a 2-amp USB connector, either it's much closer to 10 watts than 80 or it'd be a reeeeeeeeeally bad idea to actually plug it into a USB port.
An actually-80 watt grow light could be fine. There are 55-60 watt LED lights (autoCOBs) that are perfect for a single plant, though they're white/full spectrum light rather than blue and red. I'm using two of those in my 2x2 tent now, and if I was only growing one plant then one would probably suffice.
You could probably find a better light for fairly cheap; you'd honestly be better off with two or three 3500k, "100 watt equivalent" LED bulbs like this than a lot of cheap so-called "grow lights".

One option I use for my small cacti (and growing seedlings) that works well: Moveable Head 80W
The arms have to be relatively close to/above the cactus.
For my big guys (cereus, tricho) I use much stronger and intense lights: 100W LED
You can use any growlight but I found that at least 50W works best. I don’t have good sunlight at all but my grow lights have prevented etoliation in my cacti.

Humans see green/yellow light best, while plants use reds and blues.
Wattage describes how much energy is consumed by a bulb. People often use this to describe the brightness of a bulb, More watts = brighter light. But LED bulbs are more efficient at converting energy into light than incandescent bulbs, so LED bulbs are often labelled with the wattage of an equivalent incandescent bulb. So if a 10 watt LED is as bright as 60 watt incandescent, the led is equivalent to 60 watt incandescent.
Lumens, temperature, and "equivalent wattage" are metrics used for light bulbs designed for humans. Light bulbs for plants have different metrics.
PAR describes what spectrum of light is produced by the lightbulb, similar to temperature.
PPF describes how much light is produced by the bulb - similar to lumens and "equivalent wattage".
PPFD is how much light reaches a position which depends on the distance and angle from the bulb. The farther away a plant is from the bulb the less light it will get. Usually, bulbs should be within 3ft of the plant(s) to be effective.
Regular, human bulbs will be fine for plants, just less efficient. Aim for high wattage, bright white (>5000K) bulbs.
GE makes some nice, cheap grow lights. Sansi is another brand to look at. I hate the purple grow lights. Lots of people likes these (like this) but I hate the purple and generally think this type of grow light is garbage.

It’s hard to make recommendations without knowing more.
What kind of budget do you have? What kinds of plants are you working with, and what are your intentions for them? How important is the aesthetics of the set up? Will the plants be receiving any natural daylight?
Over the years I have used:
6500k CFLs, LED flood lights like these, this full spectrum LED grow bulb, This Sunco, and this 4ft full spectrum grow light.
I have been pleased with the results from each of these and I still use all of the LED options on occasion depending on what kinds of projects I have going on. The young cacti and succulents really appreciate the full spectrum lights, but everybody else does fine under the regular 5500k-6500k if they’re getting some natural daylight as well. If your concerns are cost vs performance any of these options are worth considering.
Lots of people seem to be pretty happy with this style light. If your primary concerns are aesthetics, versatility, and all around ease of use these are probably your best bet.
