They are by the brand Govee. All the strips I use now are Govee strips (have some on my TV too) and the app control actually works really well, I would highly recommend them. They probably also have other ones that work equally as well if you need a longer length or want wifi connectivity, etc.

It was super easy. LEDS fit pretty much exactly, they're a few inches too short around the tail, if you look in the picture. This worked for me because I often stand the board on its tail, which would damage the LEDs if they were on the tail. After sticking on the LEDS (which have an adhesive backing) you plug them into the battery pack. I stuck the battery pack on the bottom of the board with velcro that had adhesive on both sides, that way it's easily removable for charging, but you could use strong double sided tape just the same.

Here's what I used, I HIGHLY recommend these exact ones because the battery is super slim, and the app for the LEDs is great, and the LEDS are waterproof.

Good you are getting things for the wall, actually for lighting if you wan't a recommendation today I just got these GOVEE led light strips that plug into a USB port on your pc and are controllable by an app, they are pretty nice so far and GOVEE is a good brand (I have had their normal light strips on my walls for a few months now and just got these that I have plugged into my pc running on the sides and back of my desk).

I kinda want buy that one and see how it compares, but the app and preset modes is a downer. The above has like 200+.

Both are USB Powered. I have the first on in my PC and run it thru a water cooling hole to my USB port. Barely can see the cable.

They've gone up in price since I bought them (double!!) but it's still not bad since they come with the hardware, etc.

To attach the GoPro mount to the tension hardware I pulled the bolt out and ran it through the GoPro bolt hole. I put one of the 3 plastic wings on the GoPro mount outside the bracket and two inside so it would fully tighten down.

This is the USB lights I used for this one. They work but I only used them because they were laying around/required zero effort.

I'd much rather use tape like this but I'd have to provide the USB connection and some kind of controller. I do it all the time but I was lazy with this project. The higher density led distribution makes a much prettier light and you can turn down the brightness to like 10% and extend the life greatly.
