this looks like it should work (check before you buy it of course)
as far as i know you can't just get an adapter (different voltage and pinouts), you need to get a converter

Apparently we need this convertor 5v to 12v

Actually this little converter allows you to control your rgb through the bios or sync software, it just powers from a sata connection. I have the rgb fans on my aio and the rear exhaust fan daisy-chained into one of these and controlled through the Asus Aura software on a 12v header. Works great!

You might be able to use this product from deepcool.
It can convert the 5V (3 pin) signal on your motherboard so that a 12V (4 pin) RGB device can use it.
If you're trying to convert a 12V (4 pin) motherboard signal to 5V (3 pin), I'm afraid you're out of luck.
No other first party RGB conversation products exist to my knowledge.

I haven't used this personally, but I think that this Deepcool product will convert the 12V 4-pin headers on your board to 5V 3-pin headers for your fans.

Something like this...I thought there used to be one for 13.99. https://www.amazon.com/DEEPCOOL-RGB-Convertor-Motherboard-Non-Compatible/dp/B07T5CSZ52

This case uses 5v digital rgb which is a 3pin connection. These connections are 5v, ground, and digital signal. If your b350 is like my b450 you only have a 4pin rgb connection. these connections are 12v+, Red, Green , and Blue. I wanted to control these fan colors as well. you will loose the multi-colors at the same time that addressable/digital RGB gives you but I was ok with that and ordered a converter by deepcool. This did the trick for me as it adapts the 12v 4pin motherboard connection to a 5v 3pin connection. Like I said you will loose the multi color output on the fans at the same time, but they will now follow the settings in your MB lighting software.

Anyone ever converted 12v 4-pin RGB to 5v 3-pin Addressable RGB? What converter would do this for an Asus Prime X470 pro with Aura Sync and/or iCue?
I found these on Amazon that seems like they would work:

The 3-pin digital (DRGB) connectors are 5V, the 4-pin RGB are 12V. You can support both via the motherboard with an adapter that seems only for sale on theBay (China)
for half the price as Amazon [https://www.amazon.com/DEEPCOOL-RGB-Convertor-Motherboard-Non-Compatible/dp/B07T5CSZ52]
