This CyberpowerPC from Amazon with the 1660 Super is better for the price and isn't much more. It's the Masterbox NR640 model.

Hope this helps! :)

This isn’t bad. But with prebuilt PC’s you’re going to be paying extra because of the labor that went into putting it together. It’s significantly cheaper to build it yourself. But sometimes it’s easier to get it prebuilt. Check out this listing.

Can someone tell me if there’s a reason I shouldn’t just go for this computer? I want to be able to do some high res gaming and use adobe photoshop/indesign without it getting slowed down. Also intend to use it for writing/work from home.

I’d prefer to go prebuilt, not too interested in going down the custom build rabbit hole.

I'm currently between this, this Cyberpowerpc on Amazon, and a potential restock of this other Cyberpower on Bestbuy. I suppose at a minimum with the Lenovo I may be looking at an HDD upgrade, and with the Amazon CP I'd be looking at a RAM upgrade. Any thoughts people have would be appreciated.

It is $798 I thought it was 700.

So for 798, I get the i5 10400F, 8gb Ram, 1660 super with 8gb ram, 500gb nvme and a flashy color thingy case that will make him go ohhhh lol

I can add another 8gb of ram free through my company (we have tons of them laying around). Building it myself prob be cheaper but the issue now is he GPU and what I can get that is available. Just wondering if this route makes more sense, and just upgrade down the road if needed.

Or my alternate option is build without a GPU for now and add it in at a later date and let him just live with the on CPU gpu.
