Amazon has some DDR4 3600mhz for $83 + tax (In CA it came out to 90 new) so what you want with that info :)

This is 3600mhz c18 for only 72.99 on amazon. It isn’t the prettiest (just black) but it’ll be fast as hell. I have the same set and had no problem.

Is this deal as good as it looks? I'm going to be building a gaming PC, though it will probably take time to complete because of how hard it is to get CPUs and GPUs now. The Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB DDR4 3600 for $64 at Amazon seems like a good deal and seems like their should not be any compatibility issues whenever I am able to get the parts I need. Am I wrong?

It’s expensive if you get like rgb on it. But if you get low profile it’s around 90 fluctuating on where you live and what store. This is the ram. It is cl18 tho. But I haven’t experienced any latency so it should be fine. Good day

Sounds like a ram issue. Game runs fine for a while but as it takes up more resources it starts to run worse.

If you don't care so much about the Corsair branding, there are plenty of sales right now on Ballistix RAM which uses better Rev. E ICs ideal for overclocking. A 2x8 black 3200cl16 kit is 63.99 and a 2x8 red 3600cl16 kit is 65.99.

In my opinion up your ram to 3600mhz. I think only having 3200mhz is doing a disservice to what I’m seeing your build will be. Here’s a link. It’s not RGB BUT if you get the b450 tomahawk max the whole motherboard will be RGB and you will hardly notice.

Seems like there are some parts that you are over paying for ...

• Do you need a X570 motherboard, or is a B450 one enough? You pay a pretty high premium for the X570. A good B450 motherboard is $150 or less.

It's slightly less MHz than the one I had previously, but it's actually on the list. I must have missed this one when I was going through it earlier. Is ram speed even that important? Because while I have bought 3600Mhz, I'm seeing stuff as high as 4400 and I'm not sure if it's worth spending extra money on faster ram.

I have an XFX rx 5600 xt - the card works great. No vBIOS flashing necessary, it had the updated version and ran at 1780GHz out of the box. Release date was a long time ago so that really really ought to be the case for everyone by now; check with the seller.

Drivers wise, you need to be using relatively new Mesa packages. If you try Ubuntu 18.04 or something you're going to need to get newer Mesa versions from a PPA. 20.04 has everything you need already.

The card works well with Radeon profile for custom fan speed curves.
