not glass, but acrylic, https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Transparent-Adjustable-Ventilated/dp/B0785GRMPG $50. So I guess, how much is tempered glass a deal breaker?

So I just ordered the exact list you provided, with this case instead. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I want to make sure: should I order any extra fans? Does the cpu come with a capable heatsink?

I just want to make sure that on Tuesday when all of the parts listed above have arrived, that I can put it all together and be up and running.

Thank you again so much, your help has gone a long way.

Considero que alibaba y wish.com tienen precios demaciado bajos para ser verdad y por algun lado te cagan (sea tiempo en envio, precio de envio, calidad del producto, etc o nose) Y considero que aca en argentina los precios estan demaciado altos para ser verdad

absolutely. so somethings you should know about this build is that:

the motherboard says "Expected availability: 7-14 business days". Most other motherboards say this as well (probably because of covid). I chose this one since it has a B550 chipset, the newest from AMD.

It only has 240gb of storage. You can add a hard drive later on if you want. If you have an old laptop/desktop lying around you can scavenge the hard drives from them.

The case. It's a very cheap case that i'm not really sure about. I would recommend the other guys case which was $13 more but looks a lot more promising, even more so since it is from Cooler Master.

I dont plan on upgrading in the future. I just want to play games such as csgo at high settings. Im not interested in games that require a very highend game pc. This is the case: Here

Im not very good at deciding so I need someone else opinion about this case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0785GRMPG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Y6ecFbGEGPTEQ

Also the RTX 2060 is 400 so i think that the 1650 super might be better for the price since i only have 500

As a developer, I built an extremely similar computer to speed up my compile times (& gaming) a couple years back. My goals were smaller and quieter than my old full tower beast. I ended up going with the Cooler Master Q300L because its m-atx, full mesh, 4 x 140mm fans at low rpm is easy, & it has very nice magnetic filters front, top, & bottom. It seems to have gotten more expensive with time, though I do remember getting mine a bit cheaper on a sale, so shop around.

I transferred my friend's build to this case: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0785GRMPG/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_i_wrQREbTDCX1QP

Great airflow and dust filtration for $50. Case swap seems to be the easy to go.

It's the cooler master masterbox q300l. I really like it, very easy to build in, and plenty of room and holes to feed cables through, only 50 bucks too.

And actually this case is cheaper and more updated with more capacity

Unfortunately your mb is one tier too large. If you want to stick to a SFF micro atx build I’d recommend Metalfish S5. Otherwise any microATX case will work fine. Like this

It will work fine, but for a small extra amount you'll get a more not, faster drive.

Something like: https://www.amazon.com/Blue-SN550-500GB-NVMe-Internal/dp/B07YFF3JCN/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=nvme+ssd&qid=1609029834&sprefix=nvm&sr=8-5

For a case, this is mainly personal preference. Use pcpartpicker.com to find lists of cases compatible with your build.

If you really want a recommendation, something like this will be fine: https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Transparent-Adjustable-Ventilated/dp/B0785GRMPG/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=atx+case&nav_sdd=aps&pd_rd_r=a502934e-d25b-4ea7-9a4d-7296a4c448ce&pd_rd_w=lgGbo&pd_rd_wg=Ay9bm&pf_rd_p=1a125142-5f43-4eb2-a509-1ddeafb96b72&pf_rd_r=S62KMHCJHJ5KFXB3N33W&qid=1609029935&refinements=p_36%3A1253504011&s=electronics&sr=1-1

Hmm, it seems your model uses a TFX style PSU, Here are some I found on Amazon, but I cannot recommend any since I have no experience or knowledge about them. Maybe if you can get a micro-atx tower case, you can fit better PSUs/GPUs.

any micro atx case would fit that build. https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Transparent-Adjustable-Ventilated/dp/B0785GRMPG is cheap but i heard it doesnt have that good airflow

A classic case that fits your ITX build is the Q300L. Decent room, compact shape, and a low price. Has several pci-e slots, so GPU airflow should be fine.

Np. Here is a side by side pic of the two.imgur. Big white ATX one is Corsair 570x, black mATX one is Coolermaster q300l. Black one isnt turned on so thats why its dark. As you can see the white one has a ton of extra space, is taller/wider and the build material is much thicker/heavier. The small black one is thin metal, but is still just a durable because it's, well, metal.

If I did it a 3rd time, and I wasn't going for a super high end build ( > $1500 ), I would go for the smaller case and a mATX board. The small size and easy portability is really hard to beat. I wouldn't get that specific case tho because it did have one annoying problem in building it.

Surprisingly this ran pretty much all new games without stutter. Tried Hitman 2, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Fortnite, GTA V, A Plague's Tale, NIOH, Naruto Shippudden: Boruto the Movie DLC, and Witcher 3. Every game played smoothly. It's not a beast but a pretty capable machine for a budget build. Sold it to a young man for $760. Hope he enjoys it!

(could've been cheaper if I left out the led amd cooler, otherwise I think this was a good starter/basic build that people can use as reference. Its a great 1080p gaming PC for sure, and I tested those games on a 2k monitor and they ran fine)

I would recommend switching your CPU to a Ryzen 5 1600 af It's less than half the price of a ryzen 5 3600, and while it's not as powerful, you'll be able to spend more on a graphics card, which will increase your performance overall. It has pretty much the same performance as a ryzen 5 2600 but is much cheaper. In a gaming build your graphics card is the most important part, so I would also recommend switching your graphics card to a GTX 1660 super. You can find them new for $240. You should get MUCH better performance for cheaper if you use the parts I linked instead of the ones on your list. Also, AMD CPUs come with a good cooler, so you don't need to spend extra money on one. (I know that the RGB is tempting, but it's not worth the extra money.) I would also recommend switching your case to this one, as it is cheaper and has better airflow. Also, the monitor you chose is fine, but one with better specs and much better reviews can be found for only $4 more.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wNvjk6Let me know if you can't access the link.

I couldn't add this pc case to the list: https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Transparent-Adjustable-Ventilated/dp/B0785GRMPG/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=black+pc+case&qid=1590620069&sr=8-8

The keyboard I use currently is, https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Optical-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard/dp/B07K7YY51F/ref=sr_1_1?crid=C0Y6CG7WQNDK&dchild=1&keywords=monoprice+red+switch&qid=1590621218&sprefix=monoprice+red+sw%2Caps%2C231&sr=8-1 . However, I don't like the numpad on the right, so I selected the redragon keyboard for you in the pcpartpicker list.

The AMD Ryzen 3 3300x processor is new, very cheap, and compares pretty well against the processor I own currently, an i5-9400F: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-9400F-vs-AMD-Ryzen-3-3300X/4051vs4076

For all these parts, you can find really great deals and save a lot of money if you wait for them to go on sale.

First Build Part List And Tips

Sooooo...As the title says I'm doing my first build and I need help with picking the parts. It's gonna be a light gaming PC, no streaming, probably just Terraria, Rocket League, and maybe some Overwatch or something. Just reply with some changes you would make or some tips for my first build. My budget is pretty tight, but there's always wiggle room, it'll then just take me a few more weeks to get the money. Thanks!

I just took a look at the current new prebuilt desktops on Newegg and Amazon and none of them are really worth it below the the $400 mark. The refurbished 3rd / 4th gen desktops at the $200-$300 basically blow any new prebuilt $300-$450 prebuilt computer out of the water in terms of value. Are you willing to build a computer and use either Linux or Windows 10 with a windows activation water mark (assuming you don't have a Windows 10 license / not going to simply pirate it)? The best thing I can come up with is in between the $300-$450 range is a $354 PC build not including tax. If you are willing you can build a more than decent web browsing / basic productivity machine with these parts.

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 \~$120

Asrock B450/AC Mobo \~$85

Patriot Viper Steel Series DDR4 8GB 3200MHz \~$38

Thermaltake SMART 600W 80 PLUS \~$44

Inland 120 GB SSD \~$22

Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L \~$45

Total = $354 not including tax

I chose that CPU in particular because its pretty powerful one that should be more than enough to last you way into the future, especially if you ever decide to start gaming. I chose that motherboard in particular because it was the cheapest one that has built in WIFI though at the trade off that the only built in display port type it has is HDMI, andthe fact 4 RAM slots in case you ever want to upgrade to more RAM. Generally when I build a computer I always try to get a motherboard with whatever desired modern display port that my monitors support such as Display Port, HDMI, or DVI and always get one that has VGA for trouble shooting purpose in case anything happens. Because most people usually have a monitor with a VGA port laying and most monitors usually come with a spare VGA port for backwards compatibility. I chose that particular kit of RAM because again its the cheapest set of 3200Mhz RAM from a reputable company. There are cheaper PC cases out there but I chose that one in particular because its the cheapest Micro ATX case from a reputable company with good build quality. I have built systems in a lot of different cases at various price points from different brands and in my opinion the cheap sub $40 cases from off brands or even well known companies are usually terrible. They usually have terrible quality control with either sharp edges, incorrect machining where mounting points are off alignment, or poor soldering jobs on the corner of the case that makes it impossible to put in the motherboard correct, etc... I chose a 600 watt power supply so that you have enough wattage to upgrade in the future if you ever decide to add a graphics card for gaming or other peripherals, and that particular model because its the cheapest decent one from a reputable brand. The Inland 120 GB SSD is the only part I am a bit hesitant on recommending because it is a DRAM-less SSD. Meaning it doesn't have the same write endurance as a high quality SSD with DRAM. Write endurance refers to how many times you can repeatedly delete and write data on it. Though it should be fine if you are just web browsing and typing essays. It should a more than decent budget SSD as long as you're not repeatedly writing massive amounts of data on it and then deleting it for shits and giggles. Just for reference it has endurance rating of 75 TBW, meaning you can completely fill up the 120 GB SSD and delete and rewrite data on it 625 times before you encounter any problems with the SSD. I chose it cause its one of the cheapest decent quality DRAM-less SSDs, and should be more than enough storage space for you to install your operating system and programs and probably 1-2 large games 20-60 GB games or about a dozen smaller games.

If you want to throw in a Windows 10 license that would be another \~$130. You can get a better quality SSD like a 500 GB Crucial MX500 for \~$67. If you want a 1TB SSD you can get either the Samsung 860 QVO, Intel 660p, Crucial MX500 for \~$100-$110. Or you can get a Seagate ST1000LM049 1TB HHD \~$53 for bulk storage for non-speed sensitive files like text, pictures, music, and movies.

It’s a little over-budget. But I think this will be a good fit. Here’s why. You get a nice 4K HDR monitor. Windows HDR implementation is kind of half baked but what makes this monitor special is that it has the DCI p3 colour space and it’s 10 bit colour which is great for video editing. There may be other monitors for cheaper. But for your purposes it should have coverage of the SRGB, Adobe RGB/P3 colour spaces and 10 bit. Resolution is less important. You may be only shoot with 8 bit now but 10 bit is becoming more mainstream by the day. I got you a very strong AMD gpu. Also, I recommend DaVinci resolve to edit videos.

CPU: Really good CPU for budget you are working with imo, if you really wanted to upgrade it (which probably don't if you want to stay within your budget) I would go with the Ryzen 5 3600.

Motherboard: All around solid budget board with built in wifi

Memory: 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz CL16 ram. Pretty standard stuff.

Storage: 1TB of HDD (hard drive) storage, and 240GB of SSD (solid state drive). SSD is much faster than HDD, so it will make your computer boot much faster. If you want to save some money, you can ditch the SSD, or upgrade the SSD and ditch the HDD. Your call.

Video Card: The RX 570 has the best price/performance rates imo, however this is the part I would recommend upgrading the most if you are willing to go out of budget.

Case: I actually use this case for my personal pc, and had a really good experience with it. It's a micro-itx case which means its a little smaller. If you want to save some money you could pick a cheaper case but you would be sacrificing a lot of aesthetic.

PSU: Not the biggest power supply ever. If you plan on upgrading your PC down the line, I would go with a 500W PSU

Case Fans: PCPartPicker didn't have the fans I wanted to give you, but I still wanted them to be included in the total price so I just added some random ones. I recommend these.

LMK if you have any questions!

Let start with the long term investment:

Monitor: about $100, a quick search on Amazon will help you out.

Windows 10: Free, I wouldn't get a license since you can technically use it without activation, but some niche features won't be available.

Hard drives: 2Tb is about $53 on Amazon.

SSD (optional): 500g for $60, 1tb for $100. Games will load much faster.

RAM: DDR4 3200MHz $40 for 8gb, $65 for 16gb optional

Power supply: $63 link

PC case: $50 link

Total as of now: $306

CPU: $120 link

Motherboard: $95 link

GPU: $160 link

Grand total: $681, $31 above your budget. Prices are high if you don't have any reusable parts. Due to the pandemic and low MSRP, some prices are way inflated. The upside of new hardware is that if you want to upgrade down the line, you will be able to. I choose AMD over Intel for its upgradability - with AMD you just swap the CPU, while with Intel you change both motherboard and CPU.

If you don't mind using used parts, you can get an even better PC, but that would require you to do a lot of research, price hunting and understanding of market value. You would need to look on Craiglist, Facebook Marketplace, Ebay for the best deals.

For example:

Better CPU - $120 link

Motherboard - $75 link

Same RAM but cheaper- $48 link

Better GPU - $125 link

Used parts total: $634, below budget, which gives you room for price fluctuation. And it has way better performance than the all new build. Other parts that you can hunt for is the monitor and the case.
