Try gaming with the side panel off for a while and see where the temps max out at. If it's noticeably better then it points to case airflow. However the stock cooler is just good enough to get the job done so a cooler upgrade would help as well. My go to budget cooler is the Hyper 212 Black Edition.
2 points • S_H_G
That is normal with the stock cooler, and it is noisy as hell at that temp. If you wanted to spread out gifts over the 8 days, you could go with a better CPU air cooler - [https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-RR-212S-20PK-R1-Contact-Silencio/dp/B07H25DYM3/ref=sxin_10?] ~ Cooler Master Hyper 212, and get something else useful

Hyper 212 black edition, easy to install good temps and it doesn’t look like crap, plus it’s only $35

Alright thank you so much. Once I get my pc built ill undervolt my cpu. For my cooler, im planning on getting this "Cooler Master hyper 212 black edition". Its 40$ so im not expecting much. I might get a better fan later on though. And my pc case is pretty decent in my opinion, it has space and also comes with 3 fans on the side

For very little you can get one of the many SKUs of the tried-and-true Hyper 212, it looks like your case is wide enough to fit it (be careful buying a "taller" cooler to check that it'll fit in your case).

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition is a great budget option that I've used for two builds in the past. Installing it is a bit tricky.
Noctua NH-U12S is more expensive then the 212, but has a better fan which will also be quieter. From my understanding it also has a better mounting mechanism then the 212.
Not sure if I'd recommend an AIO at this price point. My gut says get the U12S.

The Hyper 212 Black is only $3 more and will perform and fit identically, plus is AM4 compatible: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H25DYM3?psc=1&th=1&linkCode=gs2&tag=pcp0f-20

You need to find a cooler that fits the “socket 1150”, which is the socket for the 4690k. The hyper 212 should serve you well: https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-RR-212S-20PK-R1-Contact-Silencio/dp/B07H25DYM3/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Hyper+212&qid=1606010241&s=electronics&sr=1-3

Looks like the difference is minimal. I was also looking into the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black edition, which is only $32. Even then I guess it's not worth the money.
1 points • TheDreadfulSagittary
The h510 is just another option, not a better case per se. With cooler I mean a better CPU cooler. The 2600 comes with a basic stock one already, but adding a better one later (212 Black Edition for example) will probably improve the noise situation a fair bit and give you a tiny bit more performance. The optimal thing would be to get that and the 3600 (new version of the CPU), but I couldn't squeeze that into the budget.
1 points • zuckrfuk
You're buying a 10600k without the intent to overclock? That's a mistake if so. If you already got the processor super cheap or as a gift or something try the Hyper212 Black edition here
1 points • SpooderKrab178
You can get something-like this or even a be quiet! Dark Rock Slim if you don’t want to buy the 3600x. It was just a suggestion. The 3600 speed will work, I was just pointing out that you won’t be able to run it at its advertised speed.
1 points • Tuudangling
You’re all good! Only other thing I might suggest would be upgrading the air cooler on it to something less shitty.

This is a good one.

Bang for your buck - Cooler Master Hyper 212 is good for $35, above that the Scythe Ninja 5 for $60.

You can never go wrong with a Hyper 212
1 points • Mythicguy
Instead of that, go for a good quality 40-50 dollar air cooler. They will perform better than a crappy chinese AIO. Like this one.
1 points • Berkabitz
But do you really want to go 75hz? Your build is good for 144hz 1080p but it's up to you really
1 points • TacoMoney03
No it’s a good question, it’s good to do your own research for sure, this is only my suggestion.
The ryzen processors come with a cooler included. Most describe it as adequate if you aren’t planning on over clocking. My wife has the 2700x with the stock cooler and it runs fine, maybe a smidge loud, but perfectly fine temperature wise.
There are plenty of ways to upgrade the cpu cooler for cheap, the most common I see used is this.
If you’re talking about case fans, which I just realized in the middle of my rambling you may have been talking about, the nzxt case I linked comes with two fans preinstalled, and is usually sufficient. You could definitely add a few more 120mm fans if you wanted to though.

True story. The black (non-evo) edition is on Amazon right now for $33 which (imho) is a much better deal - and no rebate. I have this model on my 5600x and keeps it real nice and cool.
1 points • 3rdiportal
oh shit, non-RBG is actually $29.99
1 points • N15H33N
you're best off getting an aftermarket cooler. have a look at this. I would totally reccomend getting an SSD, everything is much faster.
1 points • PalebloodSky
If it's a budget build use the one it comes with. If you're going to spend $50 on a cooler why not move up to the 3600X and use its included cooler instead?
Anyway here is probably the best cooler for the money: https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-RR-212S-20PK-R1-Contact-Silencio/dp/B07H25DYM3/
1 points • ronram23
Everything is compatible. You may be waiting on that motherboard. It's very popular and sold out everywhere pretty much (due to being one of the few that support 3000 ryzen out of the box without bios update)
That case comes with 2 fans which are sufficient. You can add more if you want it to be cooler.
Consider an aftermarker CPU cooler (stock one isn't great but will do to start). But Your CPU will love you for spending $35 on a cheap but decent coolermaster cooler. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H25DYM3/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_ck8NEbM2DT6QW
Other than those little nitpicking things, looks great!

You can't see the motor coil on the black edition
1 points • SagittaryX
If you go for watercooling it's pretty much just for looks, most likely won't gain any extra performance from it. If you went air you'll probably be fine with a Hyper 212 + 2 120mm fans.

The Ryzen 5 3600 comes with its own cooler. If you plan to spend money on a cooler why not by an all in one liquid radiator or a Noctua cooler which has much better cooling then the wraith prism. RGB is not really necessary though it would look nice. Depending on the size of your case (make sure it fits) this cooler would keep your cpu cool way better then the prism or the stock cooler. It is only $35 and fits AM4 boards: https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-RR-212S-20PK-R1-Contact-Silencio/dp/B07H25DYM3/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=cpu+cooler&qid=1579870895&sr=8-6
There are RGB coolers too but this has very good reviews. Cooler Master make great coolers. No pun intended. But if you don't mind no RGB then AMD provides a stock cooler with the 3600 cpu right out of the box so you might as well just use that. It's perfectly good enough for even a small overclock if you watch YouTube tutorials.
1 points • Adamiteop
I would definitely go with 16GBs of ram and I dont think liquid cooling would be necessary for a 3600. Something more like this would make more sense if you dont want to use the stock cooler.
1 points • LucidMystery
based on newegg specs it has a cpu cooler clearance of 170mm... which is... more than a lot of ATX mid-tower cases. If you want black, you can probably go with the CM Hyper 212 Black, which is cheaper at $35 on amazon

First up: the CPU. The 3600xt is kind of a bad value when compared with the 3700x, and especially the new 5600x. If you can find one, go for the 5600x. If you don't want to wait for one to become available, I would recommend switching to Intel and getting a 10600k, as it outperforms the Ryzen 3000 chips in its price bracket (for gaming).
Next up: the motherboard. The PRO-VDH WIFI is an excellent board and is compatible with Ryzen 5000 series chips, but you will need to perform a BIOS update to enable that compatibility. Since it has BIOS flashback, you won't need an already compatible CPU to update the BIOS, so no issues there. Unfortunately, I have no experience with Intel motherboards, so if you go that route, I recommend doing plenty of research before pulling the trigger.
Memory: No issues here, though you can find faster memory for less money if you look around. Ryzen CPUs love fast RAM. Intel doesn't seem to care as much.
Storage: 100% fine
Graphics card: Even in Canadabucks, that's a pretty terrible price for a 2070 super. Demand for graphics cards is really high right now, so finding a new one at a good price is pretty difficult. I wouldn't recommended an inexperienced PC builder to go used, but you can get good deals if you're careful. Make sure to message the seller and have them send you a video of the card working in their system, and then in the same shot, show the serial number sticker on the back of the card. If they refuse, or the sticker is damaged or missing, pass them up.
If you do settle on a Ryzen system, you may want to wait for the new AMD Radeon 6000 series cards to hit the market. Again: they'll be hard to get right at launch, but if you're persistent enough, the RX 6800 (non-XT) looks to be an excellent value for money card.
The case: The Micro ATX motherboard you have picked out will definitely fit an ATX mid tower, but you can save space, (and money) by getting a micro ATX tower. The H510 also has pretty terrible airflow characteristics, meaning any system you put in it will run a bit hotter (and potentially louder). The Phanteks Eclipse P300a is an excellent budget airflow option with a fully mesh front panel, Though I recommend also picking up two 140mm case fans for front intake. (I know the P300a is technically a mid tower, but it is very small)
Power supply: these are still in short supply right now, but you absolutely shouldn't try to skimp here. I don't have any experience with Corsair power supplies, so I can't really make any recommendations on this one.
Operating system: skip paying full price for this and download the windows 10 media creation tool from Microsoft to get windows 10 for free. If you want to activate it later, you can buy a key for as little as a few dollars from sites like ebay. Again, be careful here. Don't use any sites that only accept credit cards as payment options, and do some research on the site beforehand.
One final note, While the 3700x and the 5600x both come with stock CPU coolers, the 10600k does not. If you opt for the 3700x, the included wraith prism cooler is more than fine if you picked a case with decent airflow. If you opt for the 5600x or the 10600k however, you should pick up a solid tower style air cooler, but make sure it will fit in the case that you end up choosing. The Hyper 212 from Cooler Master is a popular and time tested cooler that will fit a variety of cases, including the Phanteks case I mentioned earlier.

Congrats on the first build and welcome to the stressful but fun world of PC building.
I would really recommend this video from our friends at LinusTechTips https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7MYOpFONCU
Since this is your first build I would recommend avoiding liquid coolers and just go with a simple cooler
Something like this is great for a first build
For thermal paste, you just want a size of a pea. Don't spread it out, the cooler will do that.
I found nothing in the manual for "CHU" can you post a picture of it?
1 points • mtdew332
Yeah, I agree with GlassyRS's option 2 and the 3700x, you can always buy a cheaper cooler later like the Arctic Freezer 34 eSports DUO or the Hyper 212 later if the stock cooler is too loud for you.
1 points • Pliable_Patriot
The Cooler Master T2 is a "Tower Style" cooler, which is good. It blows air through the cooler toward the rear of the case. It only has 2 heat pipes though, which limit it's cooling potential.
It will not do much better than the stock Wraith Stealth.
The Wraith Stealth is a "Box" cooler. It blows air "downwards" towards the motherboard. It's decent if you don't plan to overclock.
If you were going to go with an aftermarket unit, I'd go with something with more cooling potential.
The Cooler Master 212 is a good one, as it has 4 heat pipes, and a larger fan than the T2.

Or if you really wanted to step it up, you could go with something like the Be Quiet Dark Rock 4

You are probably going to want a higher watt psu. Also don't buy a no name psu. Thats one of those things you don't skimp on. You can save a little money by this ram ( XPG Z1 DDR4 3000MHz (PC4 24000) 16GB (2x8GB) Memory Modules Red (AX4U300038G16-DRZ) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LZIY86F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_22fJFbDBFKNWN ) and some more money with this cooler ( Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition CPU Air Coolor, Silencio FP120 Fan, 4 CDC 2.0 Heatpipes, Anodized Gun-Metal Black, Brushed Nickel Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H25DYM3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_t4fJFb5P103ZF )

i've always liked the 212 evo, but that's an intel cooler....hmmm the hyper 212 is pretty similar imo.

1 points • Conanwal
- The 5600x comes with a stock cooler, but it often is loud and runs hot, so many people replace them.
- If you want a real budget cpu cooler that still performs decently, you can go for a Cooler Master hyper 212 evo. If I would pick anything for cpu cooling, I would go for Noctua, but those coolers can be a bit more expensive.
1 points • Vastoxe
Yeah I was surprise with the stock cooler too, it was loud as hell, I couldn't bare the noise for more than a week. So I went for Be quiet! Dark Rock Slim Cooler, it's extremely quiet and the temp dropped more than 10C°.
I also like this cooler because it's all black low profile unlike those huge towers that hide the entire motherboard..
If you need a cheaper one but still with good performance/noise levels, there is the Hyper Evo 212.
