I know Concept2 is working thru their backlog of orders, but has anyone ordered one of their rowers from amazon and gotten any update? It says "Temporarily out of stock" but they're still taking orders.

I was just able to add to card the Concept 2 Rower on Amazon but it said it doesn't have a ship date yet. I've been a little under the weather lately but swear you didn't have the option to add to cart and it just said unavailable in recent times.
Anyone run into this? Does that mean they're getting some stock in and maybe I'll get one soon-ish? Bueller?

What I did was set up an amazon alert using camelcamelcamel.com for the model d at retail price. I got an email one day at like 6am, bought by 6:20am, and it showed up within the week.
Try using an alert. I used to have a different rower and HATED rowing, the Concept2 has made it a pleasure.

Ive been preordering fitness equipment from Amazon for a couple of months with varying levels of success. Several sets of dumbbells have been received within 10 days, but one set has t been given a ship date after 3 weeks.
I got a rower from Amazon a week ago when they were briefly in stock.
I’d take this gamble if you are willing to buy new. Probably your fastest shot if you’re not in the Concept 2 waiting list or sitting on Rogue refreshing all day.

C2 model D in stock on Amazon (at MSRP)... just placed order and searching for it again shows it's still in stock.
Sort of weird though, I had signed up on the C2 website (in early Sep) and they send weekly updates on when I can place my order... went from early/mid Nov to most recently Nov 9. And today (10/27) I see it on Amazon of all places and set to arrive by Nov 5.
It had popped up occasionally on Rogue's website but always too late to put in the order... I suppose prioritizing orders from Rogue makes some sense in that they want to maintain a good relationship with that sales channel... but Amazon?

Be sure it's sold by Amazon, and don't bother with 3rd party sellers. Amazon's price should be $945 (which accounts for the "free" shipping you'd pay for otherwise through C2 or Rogue).
