Not digital, but I’ve worn this in every environment imaginable, (including the Dead Sea, where the salt can’t be good for it) - full metal frame, and the retail cost of the watch can’t be much more than their cost for this one.

MDV106-1AV: The greatest of all dive watches!
Seriously, it looks great, tough as nails, legit depth, all for under $50 US. It's a steal, and one of the more popular watches here and on the other watch forums. Many will call it a "Duro" or "Marlin". So elegant, so simple, so Casio.
Edit: Great collection, OP. Particularly like the woven face Edifice!

Hi Andre_Westbrook!
At under $100, I would recommend staying clear of non-Seiko mechanical movements and obscure brands. I can't speak on behalf of the watch you have chosen, but I can say that (although solid on paper) I suspect that particular watch won't wear well over time and probably won't serve you very well, primarily due to the price-to-quality cap of the manufacturer. Some people may be able to speak volumes about the brand and its heritage, but I would advise looking elsewhere.
For a piece recommendation, I actually reccomend this Casio quartz watch:
Casio Men's MDV106-1AV 200M Duro Analog Watch, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009KYJAJY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_v3.wEbPVK9KP4
With 200 meters of water resistance, resin band (in keeping to the band pictured in your preferred watch), 1 year warranty, stainless steel case and unidirectional bezel, lumed dial and hand components, and the backing of a great brand, you really can't loose! At under $100, it's a steel, under $50, a must have.
Either way, all the best and good luck on your hunt! -Brett Kelly

> My budget is 25-50 dollars, which I know isn't enough for any kind of watch.
I disagree – there are watches worth buying under $50.
Timex Weekender line can usually be had on sale in that range. My wife's ended up being $22 thru Macy's sale. Timex has a number of options that can work.
The one I think you should consider though is the Casio MDV106. (Amazon link). It's a great entry into dive watches for little money.

There’s a reason that Casio is the gold standard for affordable watches and the MDV106 is no exception. Hard to find a better value than that.

You can get a lot more watch if you save just a little more money. If you just want a solid, accurate watch, save about $50-$70 and buy a Seiko SNK, a Timex, or a Casio like this one:

A Casio Duro is $45 brand new

Not a bad price really. I’ve not considered buying plastic watches secondhand (I know; a strange metric, just never have:)
All this said; I love Casio divers watches, specifically this one: Casio Men's MDV106-1AV 200M Duro Analog Watch, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009KYJAJY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_J14WEbYR5RDAH
I’ve got two:)

* Casio Men's MDV106-1AV 200M Duro Analog Watch, Black 4.7 out of 5 stars 5,796 ratings Amazon's Choice for "casio duro" $46.94 USD Prime OK
https://www.amazon.com/Casio-MDV106-1AV-Analog-Watch-Black/dp/B009KYJAJY
That's the stainless steel model with a black resin strap. $46.94 USD is the best I've seen, but I'm in the U.S., and I have "Free" 2-day shipping with Amazon Prime. I've seen the same MDV106-1A on Ebay for around $45 but there can be shipping added. For you shipping is probably extra, and that can get expensive to Australia. See if you can find one at a Hong Kong dealer. BTW there are a couple of new models of the MDV106 that came out a month or two ago, but they are still a little hard to find. One has a gold-tone bezel (MDV106G-1A) and one is blue (I don't know the model #, MDV106B maybe?) I just bought the gold tone bezel model for $60.55 USD on Amazon. You might want to wait a while for the prices on the new models to drop a bit. Good hunting.

You can't go wrong with a Casio MDV106
If you wanna go a little bit more expensive though, consider a G Shock as well. I know that some people might not consider it aesthetically pleasing, but if that look is in your wheelhouse, then go for it.
The Mudmaster in particular really caught my eye when I saw John Mayer wearing it on one of his IG lives.

It's been hanging around $70 for a while, but it's back down to $45.99.
Amazon.com: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009KYJAJY Here's the price history: https://camelcamelcamel.com/product/B009KYJAJY
This is not an all-time low, but it hasn't gone much lower than this in recent years. I am tempted to buy a spare or two so I can give them as gifts or maybe just keep a "backup."
Absolutely killer watch, beautiful dial that gives a nice sunburst effect in some light, looks as nice as divers at several times the price if not more.
Like many dive watches, it comes on a somewhat fugly rubber strap. That stock strap is actually quite functional and comfortable - no shame in using it! This dude REALLY shines on a 22mm NATO strap or metal bracelet, though. One of the all-time steals in the watch world.
The only possible downside to this watch is that 44mm may be too large for some folks' preferences.

You want $100 for the Casio duro ?
Seems a little high
1 points • insomniac-55
Vostok Amphibia or Casio Duro, depending on whether you want mechanical or quartz. Second-hand is fine too, but always a bit higher chance of getting a dud.
Edit: Mis-read this as saying you wanted a dive watch...

I don’t know of any that look that similar. But, here are a few links for some functional, rugged, bang for the buck watches that may have some appeal to you based on certain similarities:
A respected g shock which looks rugged and militaryish, but not like the pic: https://www.amazon.com/Casio-G-shock-DW5600E-1V-Shock-Resistant/dp/B000GAYQKY/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=casio+digital+watch&qid=1582591604&refinements=p_85%3A2470955011&rnid=2470954011&rps=1&sr=8-5
This looks good with the rubber straps, but if you throw a NATO strap like the one in the picture, you’ll have a rugged dive watch with 200m water resistance for 45-55 bucks if you add the extra strap: https://www.amazon.com/Casio-MDV106-1AV-Analog-Watch-Black/dp/B009KYJAJY/ref=mp_s_a_1_159?keywords=casio+digital+watch&qid=1582591812&refinements=p_85%3A2470955011&rnid=2470954011&rps=1&sr=8-159

Casio Duro, $45 USD
It's more of a dive watch, but you can run over it with a truck and it should still be fine.

The Casio Duro is supposed to be pretty fantastic. I didn't like the band though, and rather than replacing it I just put the new-band money into a slightly nicer model with a nicer band. I've been wearing it for about three weeks and it's pretty fantastic. Feels like it's built like a tank and the dive bezel is REALLY useful.

It really depends on the price range...I'd say that with your carry, you're more of a value and utilitarian than a showman or a flamboyant person. That's a nice Civivi, but it still IS a Civivi, not a WE (to stay in brand) or even a Sabenza/Holt/Koenig. The Swiss indicates a nod toward tradition, while the Glock says you're open to, and appreciate, technology that makes things better.
To me, this suggests quartz and something like a Casio G-SHOCK, or a Duro, if you wanted to go more traditional, but still get great water resistance.
Timex is again making some interesting pieces, particularly (IMO) in the field watch variant, so if you're less in need of water resistance, but a field piece appeals, Timex may be your best value option.
Now, if you wanted to up-level just a little bit and go mechanical for the whimsy of it, you're buried in good options from $200USD down, from Orient to microbrands like Deep Blue (Seiko movements at the lower end, typically). Heck, even Seiko plays here, but they appear to have some alignment problems on their chapter rings, depending. A sort of known secret is that Deep Blue always offers a 40% discount using either DEEP or BLUE as the coupon code)
I have an Orient Ray Raven II, though I'm about to sell it. Great watch, but no longer sees wrist time. I also have a Deep Blue Master 1000 in blue mother of pearl. I've got 7.5" wrists, so I need around a 41mm or larger to not appear toy-ish on my wrist...I have no vintage options as a result). There are a LOT of options for an automatic watch in the sub $200USD range, if you start looking, you'll find which ones to avoid and which ones to embrace, especially as you look.
If you want to step up the game to the sub $500...honestly...the sky is your limit. Choose a style (dress, tool [diver, field, pilot, etc.], casual, etc.), start looking around. You can get Swiss made for just around $300USD; you can get some mighty impressive microbrands. Also, don't forget the secondary market for some great deals! I'm likely selling my Ray Raven II for $120 OBO over on /r/Watchexchange/, where I've also gotten several great watches, including a Geckota K1 44mm Pilot watch (no longer available). I peruse that sub every day, not only to dream, but also to look and figure out what I like and want. My Geckota wasn't even on my list, but it was there, at the right time, and it STILL strikes a chord 2 months later.

Oh, and as my YouTube hero Nick says, "Do NOT get into watches..." as he gets me into pocket knives first....and now watches...
