For the price it works as well as the $70 one. Which isn’t to say good. But it’s still cheap

I use this one. It’s great, inexpensive, nothing to hook up, nothing electronic/mechanical to break, you control the temperature and everything else. They’re fantastic

Because then I can take it with me anywhere! And use it at home.
It's 400ml, the size of a small water bottle. Really brilliant design: https://www.amazon.com/Brondell-GS-70-Portable-Convenient-Capacity/dp/B008CSDKSQ?th=1

Cotton underwear, and while around the house loose flowy shorts and even no underwear if you can help it. A&D ointment, 100% aloe Vera gel, or witch hazel on a cotton swab dabbed around the area. A warm bath might help but the important thing is to keep it dry most of the time, prolonged moisture is when it leads to ongoing pain. And always dab, don’t rub!
I know you can’t leave the house but same day delivery for something like a portable bidet may really be a booty hole saver!
Lots of fluids to replenish, coconut water or pedialyte for electrolytes and the BRAT (banana, rice, applesauce, toast) diet may help clog you back up. Bland foods, nothing spicy. Best of luck!!!

They make portable bottle ones as well. I have this one, and like it: https://www.amazon.com/Brondell-GS-70-Portable-Convenient-Capacity/dp/B008CSDKSQ/ref=pd_sbs_60_t_0/140-6045575-8469163?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B008CSDKSQ&pd_rd_r=ee4adec6-52a6-460c-a166-3219849b8b9f&pd_rd_w=5UQsq&pd_rd_wg=hLJPw&pf_rd_p=5cfcfe89-300f-47d2-b1ad-a4e27203a02a&pf_rd_r=06YQBCKDNYX1ADEKAA2B&psc=1&refRID=06YQBCKDNYX1ADEKAA2B
It does have to be cleaned occasionally, and takes a little getting used to.

You can get a portable bidet. I've been using this one for months.
I have one at work, one in the car, and one at home for when I travel. Still not as good as a fixed one, but still far better than just TP.
At home I had a cheap one and I recently upgraded to a more expensive TOTO one. No regrets and I laugh when I see people fighting for TP, all for an imperfect solution that doesn't really clean.

Get a bidet or portable bidet bottle to rinse off when you use the toilet. It helps to get more clean and soothing when you get your period.

There are cheaper options but this was the first thing that came up when I searched. The ones you permanently instal would probable be more convenient long term.

They actually make portable ones...portable bidet

The US? Even if you can’t install a permanent bidet for some reason (we had to have an electrician install a plug point first so we could plug it in) they have travel bidets you could get off of Amazon.

I suggest getting a portable bidet that you can fill up with warm water and that allows for better angling until you get used to its use.

I've talked about this here before, but a camp stove with a propane tank, or a foldable stove with solid fuel tablets would be a good way to ensure you can cook food or heat up water for cleaning. The latter is very compact and lightweight if you're looking to save on space.
For something a little less... glamorous, but very necessary: may I suggest having an emergency-only supply of toilet paper, and a travel bidet? Throw in a pack of bar soap like Ivory Original (or any kind that doesn't use animal fats or oils that can go rancid) and you'll pretty much have the basics covered!

Actually $10, nothing fancy. : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008CSDKSQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I was going to put in a bidet, but I live in an apartment and I for some reason just don't feel like putting one in here.

Coworker just said that the CVS at Van Ness and Turk has TP for your bunghole. Otherwise, I'm a fan of a bottle bidet for cleaning my nether regions:

I bought this one made by Brondell for my PCT thru last year. Started with the whole system including the bottle, but ended up just chucking the bottle and using the spout on top of my Smartwater. Worked great and would totally recommend.
Having said that, I'm sure that any cap from any generic squeeze bottle like the ones you used in high school science class would work just fine too.

Get a portable bidet and then you won't need toilet paper. It's a much better solution for SHTF pooping in buckets.
