I use something like this. You have to pick the right diameter though, because I don't know how thick the Rift cable is.

Maybe something like this?
It's not a perfect solution, but if you can bundle all the wires into on channel it would help clean up the area a bit.

I have 1 USB cable (coming from a hub) and 2x DP cables going to my PC. I just zip tie them and wrap it in one of these tubes.

Why has you had trouble finding wire tubing (sheaths)?
Here is a brand that we use.
Additional advice - more interactive play. This means you + a wand toy.
Do multiple intense sessions a day. Short of any heart issues, goal is to get kitten panting and plopping on the floor at the end of each session, then offer a treat (or meal).
Da Bird and Da Cat Catcher are great toys for this sort of play.
Also look for dental/chew toys. Pet Stages has a dental line for cats/kittens.
Silvervine sticks under supervision may also work (he may not be into them for a few more months at this age, but some kittens enjoy them regardless).
You can also use chew toys meant for very small puppies/dog breeds.
Adding some bitter apple spray never hurts, but a lot of cats/kittens aren’t particularly sensitive to it, so it may not be sufficient as a sole deterrent.

LEDs are popular because of their low wattage (and hence, less heat output). A combo LED light+heater is a bit counter intuitive for most purposes.
You can get a cable organizer (something like this) to make the cords look organized, or just paint the back of the tank (or use picture/photo/etc). Home depot sells latex/acrylic spray paint for like $5, which makes it super easy to use and to save the extra for another project.

Get one of these and route your wires through it.

I'm an oculus guy who checks here for shipping info for my friend, but I'll link you the cheap answer I found on amazon.

It's a little protector that wraps easily around the wire and keeps it from bunching up. It's very effective and you can choose a set length to get as well. I'd also check for some simple velcro strips or cord management ties for the rest of your wires on your comptuer just to keep everything organized.

I just found these. I personally hate those hard plastic ones, I always have. Couldn't say why. But these with your idea of zip ties then properly shrink sealing the ends sounds like a much better idea than even the ones that don't have a slit in them. Thanks for this idea and for the tip of not wrapping things in the engine bay with tape. I saw a few videos of that and thought it looked good and made sense. But of course it looks good when just applied.

Thank you very much. I wanted to avoid the cable management problems that often plague DIY ebikes. The best solution I've found for now is this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FW3GTXB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_V6WtEb761946N

I’d look into cable sleeves. Any type will really help clean things up.

ok. I think you can consolidate all the data cables using a sleeving. This way, you'll just have 1 bundle to hang under the desk, and cables can branch off where they need to from there.
I guess you can have that whole bundle come off the PC, hand that whole thing under the desk, and have it come out from the back of the desk.
Another way is to hang a usb hub under the desk, and have things like xbox controller, keyboard, mouse cables connect to that. That way, cables don't have to be that long, and managed cables have to be longer because they don't go straight from point to point, but have to route longer out of the way.
I hope it helps.

Like the other guy said use cable ties or zip ties to make a couple large cables. If having the large cables still bothers you can get some cable wrap to hide the cables. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FW3GTXB/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_Cn2FEbDY7BBAC That's some cable wrap on amazon, but you can definitely find cheaper ones

Used a cable basket to get the surge protector and monitor power adapters off the ground and a wire loom to run everything through.

Oh yeah you have plenty of places to hide it there. One of those clips I linked attached under the shelf would keep it nicely out of eyesight.
I'd also recommend some cable management stuff like the plastic coils or the fabric wraps
You can bundle all the cables going up to your monitor/speakers and break out the charging cable and keyboard cable on the way up.
Alternatively you could also put one of the cable clip things in front of the cable holes under the monitor stand and put a small weight on the cable. It'll pull itself back though when you clip it in.

Instead of those nailed holders use 1-3 of these : this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017BUA2MC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_dn5aFbN0QDXZ8 or this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CLFKX8S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Un5aFbDD2NTGH
Then wrap all wires is something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FW3GTXB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_uo5aFbJMA4HRK
Then use a matching zip tie to make a loop around the whole bundle. And through the 3m clip. I do this and it makes a difference.
Also try to find a better way to route that lone cable with the others if possible. Every cable showing makes TV's look worse, if you can hide all of them it will look so much better.

just make your own. I have a 5ft one. silicone tube, sheath for tube, shrink-wrap to finish the ends.

if you don't want to stick cable "raceways" onto the wall, you could put clips of some kind on the underside of the desk to hold the excess flush against the desk.
Some products:
Stick-on cord clips; this pack has singles, doubles, triples, and fives (comes in white as well)
Another style of clips
Small cleats for winding cords around (these screw in place)
Larger cleats for larger cords or cables

Cord concealer kits (or raceways) in various sizes and shapes; they come in kits with elbows; most are paintable so they can match the wall
Cable wraps, which let you bundle free-hanging cables together into a tidy-looking shape (some are mesh, and some are neoprene)

Cord organizing boxes that can sit on the desk or the floor; many of these will let you put a power strip inside.

and baskets or wire ledges (or flat metal) that mount to the underside of the desk. Some are designed in a way that would let you wrap wires around, which would eliminate the need for cleats. Most of these would hold power strips up out of the way as well

You could also just use twist ties or cable ties (zip ties) , in black, to fasten some of the cords into bundles so it's just fewer lines, if visual clutter is your problem.
