It’s this model: AeroCool Cylon RGB Mid Tower with Acrylic Side Window, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079P1VBDY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Mg6QEbEJK3GT1

I don’t see how fans could be in front for this case and also my current case now, it’s just solid material in the front

Thank you for the help gonna reorient my fans now I have a pretty crap case for airflow tho https://www.amazon.com/AeroCool-Cylon-RGB-Acrylic-Window/dp/B079P1VBDY

Barring case swaps I don't think I can improve thermals anymore I have 3 fans on the front as intakes and cut holes in the front panel to improve airflow awhile ago, I probably should have measured before and after thermals but its just a noticable amount of heat(980ti on ASRock pro4 x570 and r5 3600)

tldr am too lazy to case swap to a better case don't buy this case if you have hot components

well first off op I know this is average Battlestations and all but 2 cores just won't do it man like 100% CPU usage all the time however I can recommend the Lian Li Mid-Tower or aerocool cyclon RGB the both decently priced case with a fan and USB 3.0 and other basic front IO but seriously man you gotta look into at least a ryzen 3/ intel core i3 here's one I found for $114

"With RGB" is a hard find sub $50. If you plan on using it for short term, this isn't a bad idea, but I'm not a fan of the fact that the front isn't mesh/doesn't really look like it has great intake.

For $20 more, the NZXT H510 is a case you can literally use for many years to come. Add RGB & new fans as you go. Great case, love mine.

I'm sure they can do something for you. I paid for the 32 GB version and everything went well. The only thing I wasn't really looking forward to was the case I chose. Which is this one, more specifically;

https://www.amazon.com/AeroCool-Cylon-RGB-Acrylic-Window/dp/B079P1VBDY/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

But, I didn't want to cancel the order and lose my deals.

This a decent case even when gaming their is minimal or almost no hot air coming out the back fan when gaming.with only the Fan in the back and the GPU AIO fan on the opposite side. is cramped with an AIO but if your not using an AIO its got good room. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079P1VBDY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

What are your thoughts? First PC Build

Hey Everyone. This is the first time I ever fully made my own PC with parts I picked. My budget was 450, I managed to get down to 414 after taxes and shipping. Currently, with the economy, parts are freaking expensive and no real deals going on. With that said, my GPU was the only thing bought used. I will post what the model is and price and you let me know if this was decent for my budget. Thanks!

Case: AeroCool Cylon RGB Mid Tower with Acrylic Side Window, Black

Power Supply: Thermaltake Smart 500W 80+ White Certified PSU, Continuous Power with 120mm Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan, ATX 12V V2.3/EPS 12V Active PFC Power Supply PS-SPD-0500NPCWUS-W

Motherboard: ASRock B450M Steel Legend Socket AM4/ AMD Promontory B450/ DDR4/ Quad CrossFireX/ SATA3&USB3.1/ M.2/ A&GbE/MicroATX Motherboard

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked 65W Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler (YD1600BBAFBOX)

GPU: Geforce GTX 1050 TI 4GB ROG STRIX HDMI 2.0 DP 1.4 - Asking was 100, I paid 80.

Memory: 1 8 GB Ram, this was just to keep the budget low. At the end spent 414 for everything.

Setting up my first rig in 17 years! It seems my board only has 2 USB headers. I've used both for the case USB and card reader. I ordered this wifi adapter and it needs a USB header to power the Bluetooth function.

My question is can I plug it into com1 so it can be powered or should I use a USB header splitter?

The Corsair 100r case is just over $50 and supports microATX, but it doesn't come with any RGB.

Ok. I think you’re gonna have to make some serious budget cuts to begin with, membrane keyboard, cheap mouse, mouse pad and headset. I would buy a second hand monitor and use whatever u have left over on the pc. You probably won’t have the budget for any high end rgb lighting or an aio. The best budget cuts would be a cheaper case, an hdd instead of ssd, ryzen over intel, amd over nvidia, cheaper power supply (but not too cheap that it could be dangerous) and totally scraping any extra Aesthetics (rgb, cable extensions, etc)

I really appreciate your reply. I think this is what I'll order. I do have a question though. A few of these items are on backorder/not available. Do you know of any alternatives?

The video card is out on backorder on Newegg and on B&H. Is there anything similar?

The case is also on backorder on Newegg. Is this one on Amazon basically the same? I don't care about the RGB but this one was affordable.

Also, same deal with the monitor.

There are better PSUs that are cheaper yet have 80+ Bronze ratings. 650 watts is overkill for your system; I'd go for a 550W or a 600W 80+ Bronze. The EVGA 600BR is 80+ Bronze certified and costs only $50.

If you are willing to sacrifice a few frames, you can drop the CPU to a Ryzen 5 1600 AF (basically a lower clocked R5 2600 because it's made on the same 12nm process) which costs $85 on Amazon. If you want the original Ryzen 5 2600, you can go for that too for $30 more.

With the reduced cost(\~$110), you can either upgrade the GPU to the Radeon RX 5700, which is $90 more than the 1660 Super and is around 20-30% faster. If you're happy with the 1660 Super, then you can consider the $110 saved!

For the case, this one should suffice. Enough room inside the case for $50 and it's got some RGB too.

I have all my parts ready, but my dad asked me what about a WiFi card, we don't have an eathernet point in your room and I was like "uhhhhhhhhh........." and then he asked about how I was going to download Windows. I have all my parts, but now im not so sure that i've got everything ready. Help?

Here is my build (\~500 Gaming PC)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0838YKLCS/ref=dp_olp_new_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=new

But I still feel like I don't have everything. Becuase now I know that I also have to get a wifi card. I know you have to buy windows, and you also to plug it into a USB port. Will that work with the stuff i've got? The parts people recommended me and the tutorials on how to choose parts didn't discuss a wifi card. I heard that some Mobo's can have a wifi card built in and they're typically crappy. We have really really good wifi where I live because my dad is a Progammer and says it helps him work, so i'd want to take full advantage of it so on Minecraft I don't suffer any server-side lag (lag caused by the wifi network connecting to the server, not your PC).

I made some adjustments. My goal is to have a decent multi-use machine around $1,500. Games will always be the focus but editing and rendering will be important for me as well.

First-time builder, would love any advice/tips nd tricks :)

Hey guys!

I've lurked this sub for probably almost a year now, but I've finally decided to kick my butt in gear and try my hand at building.
I wanted to build earlier on, but I settled on a pre-built pavilion. Don't get me wrong, it has carried its weight, I just want to make MY own personal pc. Plus my little brother wants to buy it off me(as I'm looking to move up.)

I'm a senior in high school and know basically nothing when it comes to building. I've been on my pc more as quarantine has ruined life, and I only use it for two purposes- 1) School (online classes, research, some videos), and 2) Gaming. (I don't think they are heavy games, but, again, I know nothing :P ) I play games like Minecraft, GTA V, Mordhau, Fortnite, CS:GO, and PUBG.

My question is this- Is there any way I could potentially remove or switch certain things out? I had to save up for this myself, so saving anything would be incredible :))

Thank you so much if you actually read this!

This is basically my specs minus the case the app that I used to make the table didn’t have the case I used to build the pc. I forgot exactly what my parts are because I built my system a couple of years ago. I plan on upgrading very soon.
