[Monitor] Acer XF270HU 27'' (2560 x 1440) TN AMD FreeSync , 144Hz Refresh Rate, 1ms [269.99]
1 points • ARiverInaDryLand
anyone have any experience with this monitor?
I checked Nvidia's site and it's g-sync compatible, also has my desired specs of 144hz and 1440p without being crazy expensive. I think I've found the one

Sadly that monitor isn't available for that price anymore, is this one also a decent choice?

This is a pretty cheap one 1440p and 144hz https://www.amazon.com/Acer-XF270HU-Cbmiiprx-FreeSync-Monitor/dp/B07YGY3RMQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=1440p%2B144hz%2Bmonitor&qid=1589101958&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1 if you want 240hz the monitor you selected is good

I found one for $330 (£264.78) on Amazon right here. Otherwise you can try PC Part Picker

Honestly that's a hard pricepoint but this one looks decent. Might just wanna search Newegg and Amazon and check them out and watch youtube videos.

I went with the Acer XF270HU Cbmiiprx. Got it on sale for $269. It's only a TN panel, but 1ms Response Time, FreeSync (which works with GSync now), and for the price, I couldn't beat it.

I use an Acer XF270HU, and I’m very happy with it! It has 1440p resolution, and 144hz. Also has a wide variety of settings to adjust the color, including an “eye saver mode” that removes a bunch of the blue light from the monitor.

I'm not a stickler so IDK if its actually good, but I've been enjoying my Acer XF270HU

Something like this then would be good.

Sorry to bother about this again but do you think this monitor is good? It’s currently on sale for a great price https://www.amazon.com/Acer-XV272U-Pbmiiprzx-Technology-DisplayHDR400/dp/B07MQBPMJ2 Also I found this one https://www.amazon.com/Acer-XF270HU-Cbmiiprx-FreeSync-Monitor/dp/B07YGY3RMQ

Here's one that is around $320, but the image trails sometimes. Trailing isn't noticable most of the time, but it's there.

Good monitor(s) or not worth it?
I was looking at some 1440p 144hz monitors to get one for when I build my new PC, I was wondering if either of these two are worth it? They're on sale for quite a bit and I know "Amazon's Choice" shit can be really bad sometimes so I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with these? Or any recommendations?

Also, as you can see, one of them is 31.5 inches and curved, compared to 27 flat, for only 20 dollars more. This seems like too good to be true to me? Is it worth it? Do you prefer curved or straight? I've never used curved before but I think I would like it, it's just that 280 bucks is a lot to dive on something that I'm not 100% sure about you know? Thank you in advance guys, I hope this post isn't breaking any rules or anything, I just want to make sure I'm making a good decision before dropping a bunch of money.

Which one would you recommend out of these three?

So here are a couple options
If you like the monitor that you use for your PC you can also plug that into it too as you can use an HDMI from the PS4 and use a DP for your PC
If you want to have two separate devices (like if you want to look at your PC and also use your PS4) you can look at these options.
Now I'm not entirely sure what you bought for your PC but you can always buy a second one for your PS4. If you like a bigger screen to play on, don't care how it looks, and you don't care about the hz, you can try [this] (https://www.amazon.com/ViewSonic-VX3276-MHD-Frameless-Widescreen-DisplayPort/dp/B0787WGCXT). Now it's 1080p and 32 in so the ppi (pixels per inch) will be less than a smaller monitor.
If you want a smaller monitor but it looks better, you can go with this [monitor] (https://www.amazon.com/Acer-XF270HU-Cbmiiprx-FreeSync-Monitor/dp/B07YGY3RMQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=xf270hu&qid=1595004096&sr=8-2). This one is more similar to the XFA240 as it is also made by Acer. It's also 1440p which looks great.
If you want something a little cheaper, [this] (https://www.amazon.com/Acer-KG241Q-Pbiip-FREESYNC-Technology/dp/B07MG85X1M/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Acer+KG241Q&qid=1595004317&sr=8-3) which is smaller than the others, is only 1080p but is $144.
Hope that all helps.

Looking for 2 x 1440p@144hz in-stock NON-curved monitors, compatible with gsync or freesync
My existing monitors are two 21.5" 1080p AOC e2243Fw on my VESA mount arms They are reported as 60hz 1080p 5ms TN monitors, and I do not have trouble with their color accuracy at this time. https://www.cnet.com/products/aoc-e2243fw/specs/
Trying to keep it under $800 for 2 non-curved monitors, which I thought would be a lot easier than it actually is!
I'm looking to upgrade to 2 x 1440p @ 144hz, but am having trouble separating snake oil and sales tactics from actual quality. Quite a few interesting looking models are out of stock or back ordered, so I've only grabbed links for ones I could find and order right now. I do not have access to a MicroCenter, but I am in the US.
I use these for both gaming and work, for which my Nov 2010 TN monitors have thus far been sufficient for almost a decade.

You can also try turning VSYNC OFF.... also are there other options for the hz or does it just show 30hz? That's 100% the problem, 30hz is like 1990 shit, def look into getting a new monitor you can get pretty nice 1080p 144hz monitors for $200 or less, I actually am using a 1440p 144hz monitor as my main and it's a 24" unlike most being 27" here is a list of some I'm not sure if you prefer larger monitors or not but I personally wouldn't go over 27"...also note that a regular 2060 will probably struggle playing most games 1440p 144hz unless you turn graphic settings down a bit I think you'd enjoy 1080p over 1440p.

I'm biased towards Acer monitors I've always seen great deals on them and they perform great, I've had 4 of them total and I'll continue to buy them.... hope this helps!

Which of these 1440p 144hz monitors is the best choice for gaming? I'm on a budget, $300-$350.

Also, on a 27" monitor can you adjust the resolution/size so that it appears as 24" with black boxes around the edge of the screen? For gaming a bit closer?
