Just get the cheapest well-reviewed 1080p 60+hz monitor of your preferred size on Amazon, honestly. There's nearly no difference in entry level productivity monitors these days. I have this and it has been totally fine for 18 months

Nothing too fancy. It’s an Acer 21.5 inch. Found it on amazon

Just use a monitor, this 130$ monitor is fantastic for the price. Of course a more expensive monitor is better but this is a fantastic one to begin with.
Oh yeah and don't buy a prebuilt one, building one yourself is easy and is much cheaper (about 300 to 500$ cheaper) but since you can't use YouTube try to find someone who knows how to build one, and if you really can't find anyone, then get the pre built one if you want.
If you don't mind me asking, what's your build?
My advice is don't begin with a super good graphics card, get one that's cheaper at the beginning until you get the hang of it then get a good one. But if your parents are paying get a good one right at the start, take advantage of their generosity ;)

Basically any 1920x1080 60hz monitor works like this one
2 points • BigOrangeM
To be blunt - you won’t find dual 4K monitors for $300 USD that are any good. If you had a budget of $300 per monitor - you could probably find something under normal circumstances that would be perfect. However - budget monitors are pretty much picked over with everyone shifting to work from home. If you need something cheap two of these will run you $180 for basic 1080p monitors.
One other suggestion - look at dual qhd (1440p) monitors. Might be a good middle ground.

First Build ~$700 Gaming/Work Please Help! 💕
I appreciate the help! Thank you in advance! Xx
>>What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.
- Some gaming (Slime Rancher, the Sims 4, Cities Skylines, Halo). I’ll mostly be using it for schoolwork and art commissions. I do a bit of 2D animation work, so it’s important that my computer can handle that.
>What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?
- $700
>When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.
- I’m building in a few (~3) weeks; I don’t mind that the build may be out of date
>What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)
- The Tower.
>Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?
- California (Northern); I’m not near a Microcenter.
>If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.
- I have an Acer Monitor This One!
>Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?
- No.
>Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)
- I’d really love an SSD; storage is important.
>What type of network connectivity do you need? (Wired and/or WiFi) If WiFi is needed and you would like to find the fastest match for your wireless router, please list any specifics.
- Both, if possible.
>Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?
- I’d really like a case with a clear side panel and a little RBG. My dream is to have a completely white and pink set-up but I might save that for when my budget isn't so tight.
>Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?
- I already have a copy of Windows.
Thank you guys!!

Same price a nice pair of shoes, or a deluxe edition of a new video game. Not the best by far, but substantially better than using a television.

Looks like it’s a bit more expensive than normal atm. I personally bought a refurbed one on eBay for 80$, looked brand new. If you need one now, I’d go that route. Otherwise wait for amazon to get more in stock so that the price goes down again.

This monitor here has been the best $85 I have ever spent. 1920x1080p? check. 75hz? check. It's also an IPS panel so the colors are vibrant and the viewing angles are excellent. I'd completely recommend this monitor just for the sheer value. I think it might be out of stock on amazon right now but it might be in stock on some other sites.

I’m at the point in fashion school where I need to get serious about my portfolio and I got a DSLR for Christmas. My dad has a small photography business and I’m pretty decent at taking pictures due to years of working for him, but this is my first camera of my own and I’m using Photoshop more both for class and for editing my own pictures (much cheaper and more sustainable for me to take my own photos of my work rather than having to rely on paying other people). I‘ll likely have more money during the summer, but budget is kind of tight right now. Was considering this monitor as a budget option: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-SB220Q-Ultra-Thin-Frame-Monitor/dp/B07CVL2D2S/ref=sr_1_26?keywords=space%2Bsaving%2Bcomputer%2Bmonitor&qid=1577947347&sr=8-26&th=1

On paper, parrying is easy. On PC, parrying is easy. On Console, if people weren't using wireless controllers paired with TVs that have 150ms of input lag on top of the wireless controller, parrying would be easy.
The mechanic itself is easy to perform. If you want to turn this into a discussion about PC and Console having different balancings, sure, I agree, but just imagine how long it would take for them to do ANYTHING when they are balancing for people with effectively >150ms latency. For Honor, as a game based around millisecond timings instead of frames capped at a specific framerate like every other fighting game, and focused on visual fidelity, you can't afford to do that.
Console would be a SIGNIFICANTLY better experience if you'd get a monitor (like this one), but everyone wants a couch experience with Consoles. I don't blame anyone for that, that's how Consoles are marketed, and PC can be very high maintenance and expensive to get into, especially when considering how cheap Sony and MS are getting their current Consoles.
I've played on PC at 30FPS (before I got better parts) and have parried easily. Granted, it was more difficult, but that didn't make it nearly as difficult as the rewards imply they are.

Given your specs youd have no issues using something that outputs in 1080p. You may even be able to get 1920x1080 resolution.

I’ve read that you can’t achieve Freesync at 75hz via HDMI. My monitor doesn’t have display-port input, but it says that it CAN run 75hz Freesync via HDMI.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CVL2D2S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-PDfFbR8N22ZH
What’s the deal? Will I be able to run at 75hz and use Freesync successfully?

Awesome thank you for the advice, I would never have even known about different panels. I assume an IPS panel would also be ok for text heavy work?
The Acer here is $90 and is an IPS panel. This particular one seems to be able to get to me on Wednesday rather than Thursday so I'm leaning towards it:
